LONGTIME WWE EMPLOYEE RETURNS TO COMPANY, HIT ROW, THE KING AND MORE WWE NOTES

By Mike Johnson on 2021-10-25 11:47:00

Going forward, Xavier Woods will be billed as King Woods.  The initial plan was King Xavier, but that was switched on Friday.

The current plan is for the Hit Row contingent to be babyfaces going forward on Smackdown.

Derek Casselman, who worked for WWE for many, many years on the merchandise end of the company but was let go during the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, has been brought back as Director Of Operations, Venue Merchandise.  Casselman started back a few weeks ago and has always been well liked within the company.

WWE brought additional staff at this past Friday's Smackdown taping in case there were any travel issues coming out of Saudi Arabia.  Mike Rome was brought in as a backup ring announcer and there were additonal Producers and referees brought in who were allowed to travel back home once the Smackdown crew arrived in Wichita.

Talking Smack is not slated to air next week on FS1, so it's a just one week only thing to accentuate Smackdown being bumped over FS1 this Friday.

Paul Jordan sent the following...Cesaro is on the latest episode of the " Into the Danger Zone with Chris Denker" podcast.  The Swiss Cyborg discusses Xavier Woods finally achieving his goal to become King of the Ring, facing off against The New Day in a Tag Team Gauntlet, the Intricacies of coffee, staying in peak physical condition for his job and mental health, advice for those wanting to start a workout routine, playing League of Legends competitively, missing streaming on Twitch and feeling the sense of community and much much more.
