The Revolt vs. Overkill.

The Revolt is Zane Riley and Calek Konley aka Kaleb with A K from Impact Wrestling.  Overkill were heels here and had the cocky, brash trashtalk down just right.  Revolt had some nice double team moves.  Konley got cut off and Overkill spent a lot of time tagging in and out, working him over.  Riley made the hot tag and cleaned house.

Riley slammed Overkill atop of each other.  He grabbed one low and then hit a back suplex.  They cut off Riley and it was Overkill back in control.  Riley came back with a powerbomb.  Riley tagged back in and cleaned house.  He nailed a pescado to the outside on both members.  Konley tricked Overkill into grabbing each other's legs and took them both down.

Riley returned to the ring and nailed a big powerslam.  They continued to battle back and forth until the Revolt took the victory.

Your winners, The Revolt!

Sam Houston vs. Mitch Hurley.

They locked up and Hurley muscled Houston into the corner.    Houston showed some nice fire throwing fists.  Hurley broke free of a wristlock and smashed Houston’s arm.  Houston backed up in the corner, checking himself out.

They locked up in a test of strength.  Hurley was in control but Houston was able to reverse it and forced him to the mat.  Hurley gained control and dropped him across the top rope.  He then tossed Houston hard to the floor.

Hurley followed and worked over Houston.  The crowd chanted, “Let’s go Sam!”  Houston was almost counted out.  Houston climbed back into the ring but Hurley came off the ropes and nailed him with a legdrop across the back of the neck.  Houston was nearly pinned but kicked out.

Hurley locked on a rear chinlock, riding Houston’s back.  He choked Houston against the ropes.   Hurley held Houston up for a delayed vertical suplex.  Houston was worked over but came back with the bulldog, scoring the pin.

Your winner, Sam Houston!

Hurley attacked Houston, who eventually made his own comeback and ran Hurley off.

Houston took the mic and told Hurley he was good and anytime he wants to step back in the ring, Houston will be happy to oblige him and kick his ass.  He thanked the fans for their support.

NWA Women's Champion Kamille vs. Kenzie Page.

This is being taped for the NWA’s FITE.TV series.

Kamille towered over Page early on.  They locked up and went to the mat.  Page grabbed a front facelock and maneuevered the champ into a hammerlock.  Kamille reversed and when Page went for an armdrag off the ropes Kamille stopped it and powered her up.

Page tried to come off with a high cross bodyblock but was caught and taken down.  Kamille used a surfboard to wear her down.  Kamille nailed a series of forearms, breaking down the challenger.  She nailed a series of shoulderblocks in the corner and beat her across the back.

The Champ battlered her across the chest with hard shots.  Page went to the floor, where she was sent into the ring post.  Kamille tossed her back into the ring and nailed a charging clothesline in the corner.  Page missed a second one.   Page nailed her and hit a cannonball in the corner.

Page nailed a double knee strike to the back as Kamille was against the ropes.  Kamille was trapped in a leg submission.  Page beat her across the back and nearly scored a three count.  She went for a double stomp but missed.  Kamille WIPED HER OUT with a spear and scored the pin.

Your winner and still champion, Kamille!

Former NWA Official of the Year Tommy Young came to the ring, a huge pop for him.

Bam Bam Bundy and Lucky Larry hit the ring and cut a promo about how they main evented and got cheated.  For two years, they've said no one cares about Marty Dmato and his stupid family.  He dared anyone to come to the ring and make them leave the ring.  Out came former WCW, WWF and ECW star Mr. Hughes.    He carried an urn that was allegedly the one he stole from The Undertaker many years ago.

Mr. Hughes vs. Bam Bam Bundy

Hughes nailmed him several times.  Lucky Larry got on the apron so Hughes nailed him and he fell off the apron,  As the referee checked on Larry, Hughest wrapped a chain around his fist and nailed Bundy, then scored the pin.

Your winner, Mr. Hughes!

TMart Promotions' Marty Dmato came to the ring.    He announced The Gathering III on 8/3-8/7 next year.

Lucky Larry cut a promo on Dmato, saying he didn't have a legend like Tommy Dreamer or Shane Douglas to save him.  Marty said he had the TMart Army.  Someone from TMart speared Bundy and they ran off the heels.

NWA Champion Nick Aldis vs. Trevor Murdoch.

Aldis mouthed off with the fans early on and stalled a bit.  Murdoch had some momentum early and Aldis went to the floor.  When he returned, he knees Murdoch in the mid-section, catching him off guard but Murdoch fired back with some hard chops and slammed Aldis after shoulderblocking him down.  Murdoch drilled him with some hard chops.  Aldis went down to the floor and spent some time on the outside.

When he returned, Murdoch took him down.  He had Aldis on the run but was knocked off the top and hit the apron outside before crashing to the floor.  The referee began counting Murdoch out.  Aldis cracked Murdoch was too stupid to be the World Champion.  He attacked him on the floor and dumped Murdoch back in the ring.  Aldis nailed a double axe-handle to the back of the head, then nailed him with a chop block, taking out the knee.

Aldis nailed a suplex for a two count.  Murdoch fired back with a series of forearms but Aldis regained control and locked on a side chinlock.  Murdoch fought his way out and they exchanged punches.  Aldis nailed him and hit a flying elbow off the top for a two count.  Aldis whipped Murdoch hard into the buckles.  He called for a bulldog to mock Murdoch but was nailed while on the top.  Murdoch nailed a superplex but was too spent to immediately cover Aldis.  When he finally did, Aldis kicked up at two.

Murdoch nailed a flying bodypress for a two count.  Aldis nailed a piledriver but Murdoch got his foot on the rope at the three count.   Aldis turned him over in the Texas Cloverleaf but Murdoch powered out.  Murdoch went for a sunset flip but Aldis reversed the momentum and dropped down, scoring the pin.

Your winner and still NWA Champion Nick Aldis!

Nick Aldis was interviewed after the bout.  He said that he told the world that he's the greatest World champion in the modern era.  Everyone said that Trevor had him beat at the last PPV but he just proved he's the greatest champion.

Trevor was interviewed as well.  He said he worked for the last few years very hard to give the fans the best possible show he can when he comes out to the ring.  As a Harley Race guy, the NWA means the world to him.  If you don't want to be World Heavyweight Champion, you need to get out of the business.  He wants to represent Harley.  Nick beat him and he can't take anything away from him but he's not done.  He still wants to be NWA Champion.  Aldis likes deals, so he has a deal for him.  He wants to wrestle Aldis at the NWA 73rd Anniversary PPV in St. Louis.  He declared that if Aldis beats him, he will walk from pro wrestling.

So, they closed the show with Trevor Murdoch just challenging NWA Champion Nick Aldis to a title vs. career match for the NWA 73 PPV in St. Louis.

That's all from tonight in Charlotte, NC!
