William Regal announced the passing of British wrestling legend Jackie Robinson this morning:
I’m very sorry to hear of the passing of Jackie Robinson, cousin of Billy Robinson. A lovely fella and top class amateur and Pro Wrestler. Always a pleasure to be around. My deepest condolences and best wishes to his family and friends.

Jackie Robinson was the third member of the Robinson family to enter pro wrestling, following his cousin Billy Robinson and Jackie's father Alf,who wrestled from the 1940s through the 1960s. Jackie (sometimes billed as Jack) debuted in 1969 after being trained by his family members as well as Ken Cadman and Martin Conroy.
Robinson competed for several decades, appearing regularly on World of Sport's wrestling episodes as a smaller competitor who used his cunning and speed to stand up to the larger talents. He held several Light Heavyweight championships in Europe.
