SEGMENT RUNS LONG ON RAW, RIPPLE EFFECT OVER COURSE OF BROADCAST, SHEAMUS, JIMMY SMITH REACTION AND MORE

The first segments of last night's edition of Monday Night Raw (MizTV leading into the Beat the Clock bouts) went about 8-10 minutes longer than planned, PWInsider.com has learned, requiring time to be cut from other segments.  As you can imagine, Vince McMahon wasn't thrilled about that.  Nothing that was slated for the show  cut, ended up cut, but we are told several segments were shuffled around to different points of the broadcast vs. their original placement in order to accommodate time cuts.

Kofi Kingston vs. Drew McIntyre was always slated to close the episode and we are told that segment went about as planned in terms of length.

Former American Ninja Warrior announcer Jimmy Smith received positive reviews for his debut appearance on Raw last night.  We are told that the company was very happy with the energy he brought.  The feeling among those we spoke with is that his time prepping in recent weeks made all the difference in Smith having the right rhythm and energy last night.

As PWInsider.com broke yesterday, Molly Holly was at Raw as she may be potentially be brought on board as a Producer.  We are told she was being taken through the paces and will be at additional TVs going forward as the two sides feel each other out.

WWE United States Champion Sheamus tweeted the following photo of his broken nose, which was busted by Humberto Carrillo last night:
