MORE ON DON CALLIS AND IMPACT WRESTLING

By Mike Johnson on 2021-05-20 18:26:00

To follow up on Don Callis' exit as an executive for Impact Wrestling parent company Anthem, PWInsider.com is told Callis officially exited his Impact Wrestling duties last month.  He had slowly been decreasing his responsibilities outside of the Impact Wrestling creative team for some time, dating back to last year.

Callis officially left creative last month, we are told.  Impact Wrestling has streamlined the creative team with his exit there and there are no current plans to replace him.  The nucleus of the creative team remains Scott D'Amore, Tommy Dreamer, Jimmy Jacobs and RD Evans.

Callis remains with the company and was at the most recent set of TVs as a talent.  He will continue to appear as Kenny Omega and The Good Brothers' manager.    We are told all sides are on good terms and this was not a dramatic exit.

We are told there is an expectation that eventually, Callis will end up full-time with All Elite Wrestling but there is no timetable for if and when that may be.
