Bianca kicked Nia off the ropes to the floor but Shayna had tagged in. Bianca got out of the Clutch and then did a handspring and got caught in it again. But she powered up. She went all EST on Shayna and powered to the rope, where she fell. Shayna would break the hold so she got disqualified. 2-1 Raw. Belair is out so Nia grabbed her and went to put her through the table but EST powered out. They are fighting on the floor when EST backdropped her over the barricade. The ref counted to 10. That means Lana won the match for her team. I am not making this up. Then again, you all know that I am not. The work was strong. The booking was Vince. That says it all.
Lana is celebrating like she just won a match, well she did. Nia is not happy on the floor. Vince is popping huge for this awesome storyline.
TLC is coming on December 20! That means even though there is no real reason to have a ton of violent matches, it’s December so let’s bust some talent up for Christmas!
Drew McIntyre vs. Roman Reigns is up next. I am looking forward to that.
The build up for this has been good, but I wish it was two months instead of two weeks.
Roman is out first. The vest is gone so all who hated him for wearing that can chill. Drew is out next, in his kilt. See, it’s clan vs. head of the table. Love that aspect. Wish this had been built up for a long time and if Miz cashes in, it may end up that way.
Cole said this is a massive main event. He’s right. It is. Since Raw just won, does that mean Smackdown does here and we end even? Oh no, Cole just said Miz is lurking. Well, if done right it could be OK. Taker’s ceremony is next so if they screw us here, at least we have that waiting.
Excellent pacing early on. Loving it.
Roman has gotten a few near falls but Drew has kicked out before two both times. They are saying it will take a LOT more than that, and it should. Roman has been more in control than Drew but that can change. And it did. Drew fired back.
Roman went for a Superman but got hit with a Spinebuster and got a two. And now Drew is on the attack. He is pillaging him on the floor. This is a fight between two real men. I like it!
Drew got a 2.5 with a Future Shock. OK, I don’t want either of these guys to lose. Knock both of yourselves out and then send Miz down to lose.
Roman is on the mat selling and as Drew came in for the Claymore he ate a Superman Punch, but got tossed with a suplex. Drew ran into a kick and got posted. This is great stuff.
Roman went for the Spear but ran into a Kimura. Roman makes the ropes. Cool stuff. Drew rushed Roman on the floor but got a dose of table, including a Samoan Drop It’s wiped. The official is counting. Roman got in at 8. Roman’s facials are awesome. He doesn’t want to win this way. Drew got up and got speared through the barricade. He threw Drew in but only got a two count. This is awesome, totally awesome.
The fans finally realized it and chanted this is awesome. Welcome to the party. Jeez.
Roman went for the Spear but ate a kick, then hit a spear. TWO COUNT ONLY! Roman is like WTF? There can’t be a winner here. The next match is money, like WrestleMania Title vs. Title money.
Roman is setting up but ate a kick, and he wiped out the ref. Drew has a chance but no ref. Out comes Jey Uso. Drew dumps him. Still no ref. Roman hit a nut shot and Jey attacks him. Roman hit a Superman and locked on the guillotine. So it looks like Drew loses and then, I hope, Miz comes out and loses the MITB. Drew stood up, then went down. The ref called the match for Roman. That’s fine, that finish doesn’t hurt Drew at all.
That match was amazing and I want to see it again. Please, send out Miz and let’s get rid of the damn MITB right now. Definitely watch this match if you haven’t already.
After the match Roman walked up to Jey. Is he happy? Jey hopes so. Roman stares and then hugs. No Miz. Drew is pissed but such is life. They must meet again.
I am not going to spend a lot of time on the Taker ceremony other than to say if you are reading this you should watch it. He is a freaking legend and he got to walk out in the manner he deserved. I will have more to say on my hotline but that was great. What an amazing career. Wow. When he took that last breath before he walked through the curtain it felt like he was saying goodbye. Thank you sir, you were one of the best to ever lace them up.
