We are back and with the Swamp Fight between Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman at Extreme Rules, we are going to take a look back at their match from Money in the Bank.
WWE Universal Champion Braun Strowman vs. Bray Wyatt
It was all Braun early, sending Bray (sweater wearing Bray, not the Fiend version) to the floor, into the ring steps and into the ringpost. He crushed Bray with an Avalanche in the corner. He charged Bray on the floor but Bray sidestepped him and Braun crashed into the announcer's table. The Piggy Puppet popped up in the crowd, cheering on Bray. I wonder if he's going to start betting with MJF.
Wyatt attacked Braun and beat him on the floor, then tossed him into the ring for a two count. He sent Braun into the ring steps on the floor. Bray brought him back into the ring and prepared to attack but was nailed with a big right hand. Bray nailed him with Sister Abigail but Braun kicked out at the very last second. He went for Abigail again but Braun broke free and nailed a big chokeslam.
Strowman nailed an Avalanche in the corner and tossed the challenger to the floor. Braun charged and smashed him into the barricade. Braun tossed him into the ring but was kicked down to the floor. He rose up wearing his black sheep mask from the Wyatt Family days. Bray acted like he had found the old Braun again and told him that this time, everything will be perfect. Braun dropped to his knees in front of Bray. Bray embraced him. All the puppets celebrated that Bray had brought Braun "home" again.
Braun slowly took off the mask and showed that he wasn't part of Bray's group by stomping the mask. Bray tried to get him to listen to him but Braun powerslammed and pinned him.
Winner: Braun Strowman (Retains Championship)
We go to The New Day in the interview area. They are asked about Nakamura and Cesaro's comments and Kofi tells Sarah it is the same thing all over again. Nakamura is a former Royal Rumble winner and Cesaro is a multiple time tag team champion. They are who they thought they are. Big E says they are not going to let them off the hook. Big E says they are going to march on all night to ensure that they remain the Smackdown Tag Team champions.
Lacey Evans is in the back and she is working on her scales while Naomi shows up and does some dancing.
We are back and Jey Uso is in the ring to host Karaoke Night at the Performance Center. Jey says everyone has 45 seconds and the crowd will pick the winner.
The first singer is Lacey Evans.
The second singer is Dana Brooke.
The third singer is Tamina.
The final singer is Naomi.
It is time for the vote and the winner is Naomi.
Lacey Evans attacks Naomi and they have to be separated but they throw shoes and we go to commercial.
Match Number Three: Lacey Evans versus Naomi
Naomi with a Thesz Press and Naomi with punches. Lacey sends Naomi into the turnbuckles. Lacey chokes Naomi and Naomi with a forearm. Lacey with a drop toe hold and she chokes Naomi using her skirt. Naomi with a round kick and Lacey is down. Naomi kicks Lacey to the floor. Dana checks on Lacey and Lacey pushes Dana down. Dana has some words for Lacey. Dana tells Lacey she is beter. Lacey pushes Tamin and Dana and Tamina get in the ring and the referee calls for the bell.
Winner: Lacey Evans (by disqualification)
After the match, Dana and Tamina brawl.
We go to Sarah in the back with AJ Styles.
AJ says Drew Gulak got embarrassed last week. If that is the level of competition he is going to face, this is just a waste of his time. AJ says he will keep the title for a long, long time.
AJ is asked about his title match next week against Matt Riddle.
AJ wants to know why and who did Matt Riddle ever beat. Sarah reminds AJ that Matt beat him and AJ says it was rhetorical. AJ asks what will happen when the roster is not there to help Riddle? He will lose to AJ Styles.
Match Number Four: Kofi Kingston and Big E versus Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura for the Smackdown Tag Team Championships
Nakamura kicks and punches Kofi as he avoids an early attack by Kofi. Nakamura with a knee to the ribs. Ceasro tags in and connects with European uppercuts and he drops Kofi on the top turnbuckle. Nakamura tags in and hits a running knee to the midsection. Kofi with chops and forearms to Nakamura. Nakamura with a kick and he tags in Cesaro. Cesaro with a deadlift gutwrench suplex for a near fall. Cesaro with an elbow drop for a near fall. Nakamura tags in and he has Kofi in the ropes and Kofi with an elbow and punches. Nakamura with a knee.
Cesaro tags in and Kofi avoids a double boot and Big E with a shoulder and he sends Nakamura over the top rope with a back body drop. Kofi with a springboard drop kick and then he kicks Cesaro in the corner. Big E tags in and he kicks Cesaro. Kofi tags back in and he kicks Cesaro. Big E tags in and he continues with the kicking. Kofi with a baseball slide to Cesaro and Cesaro goes to the floor. Big E sends Kofi over the top rope but Cesaro makes the fair catch with a European uppercut as we go to commercial.
We are back and Nakamura with a front face lock on Kofi. Kofi tries to get to his corner but Nakamura with a forearm and he sets for the reverse exploder but Kofi escapes and hits the SOS. Cesaro and Big E tag in and Big E with two overhead belly-to-belly suplexes followed by a standard belly-to-belly suplex. Big E with a Warrior Splash but he misses when Cesaro moves. Big E knocks Nakamura off the apron and Big E with a rollup for a near fall. Cesaro with running Euroepan uppercuts followed by punches in the corner.
Cesaro pie faces Big E and then he punches Big E from the turnbuckles. Kofi tags in and Big E gets Cesaro and Kofi with a double stomp for a near fall but Nakamura breaks up the cover. Nakamura kicks Big E off the apron and Kofi with a rollup for a near fall. Cesaro chokes Kofi in the ropes and Nakamura kicks Kofi in the back and Cesaro follows with a clothesline. Nakamura tags in and he sets for the reverse exploder and hits it for a near fall. Big E and Cesaro exchange punches and Big E is sent to the floor by Nakamura and Cesaro. Kofi with punches to Nakamura. Cesaro makes the tag and Kofi with punches to both men. Nakamura and Cesaro double team Kofi and Big E comes in and throws out hte match.
No Contest
Big E with a clothesline to Cesaro and they go to the floor. Cesaro sends Big E into the announce table. Cesaro gets table from under the ring and Big E is sent into the ring steps. Kofi with a forearm off the announce table to Cesaro and he punches Nakamura. Kofi is sent into the apron. Cesaro sets up the table in the ring. Cesaro holds Big E and Nakamura kicks Big E onto the table. Cesaro goes to the turnbuckles and Nakamura gives Kofi to Cesaro who comes off the turnbuckles with a power bomb of Kofi onto Big E through the table.
