FORMER IMPACT WRESTLING STAR TO STAND TRIAL NEXT MONTH, A YEAR AFTER BEING NAMED ONE OF EL PASO'S MOST WANTED FUGITIVES

By Mike Johnson on 2020-06-29 11:32:00

Court records indicate that former WWE developmental and Impact Wrestling star Trenesha Daniyall Biggers aka Rhaka Khan, 37, is scheduled to stand trial on Friday 8/7 at 8 AM before the 409th District Court in El Paso, Texas on charges of interference with child custody and "aggravated kidnapping facilitate".  Biggers is being represented by a public defender.

Biggers was indicted on the charges in August 2019, leading to her being listed as one of El Paso’s most wanted fugitives after failing to appear in court. There are two court instances where her no-shows led to her bail being revoked. She was finally arraigned in December 2019.  The trial was originally set for this past April but was later pushed back to August.

In the State of Texas, interference with child custody is when someone "takes or retains a child when that person knows that the taking or retention of the child violates a judgment or order."  It is considered a state jail felony and can be punishable by up to two years in prison.

Court records indicate Biggers is also slated for a status conference on Thursday 8/13 before El Paso County Court on another charge where she has been charged with interfering in public duties related to a charge filed against her in 2017.

Biggers had yet another charge of interfering with public duties filed against her on 11/13/19 by the El Paso County Clerk, but there are no available court records on where that charge stands.

In April 2019, Biggers was also arrested for possession of marijuana in El Paso but that case was dismissed in June 2019.

Bigger last wrestled in 2011 for the now-defunct Lucha Libre USA promotion, which aired on MTV.  Biggers was part of the 2005 WWE Diva Search and was signed to a developemental contract after failing to make it past the top 25 contestants in the search.  She was sent to Deep South Wrestling but was released in May 2006.  She worked for a number of independent promotions and in Japan before signing with Impact Wrestling in 2008, departing that promotion in 2009.  She worked for Lucha Libre USA in 2010 and 2011.
