LOTS OF ADVANCE EXCITEMENT FOR FIRST-EVER AEW STADIUM STAMPEDE MATCH

By Mike Johnson on 2020-05-23 13:57:00

There is a ton of advance excitement internally for tonight's AEW Stadium Stampede match, which be broadcast as part of tonight's Double or Nothing PPV on FITE, PPV and Bleacher Report Live.

In order to maximize the presentation of the bout and not have dead air as talents made their way to different parts of the stadium, AEW AEW taped the match overnight, finishing up around 5 AM this morning.

The match will feature The Elite vs. The Inner Circle in a Falls Count Anywhere, No DQ bout with a ring set up at the 50 yard line of TIAA Bank Field with the entire stadium in play for the environment of the match.  We are told there were a lot of really fun, creative things that will take place over the course of the match and that everyone involved was really proud of what they had been put together.

Chris Jericho noted on Twitter that the match was one of the best things he's ever been involved in.
