We are back and they say they gave you fair warning that they are coming. You can't stop it. Doomsday is upon us.
Byron mentions that Karrion Kross and Scarlett are part of NXT, but do not know what they are doing.
We go to Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae. Johnny talks about the day he got married to Candice LeRae. HIs fairy tale came true. Johnny says his career has been a fairy tale. He was the first Triple Crown Champion. With all of the people in NXT, who thought that Johnny Gargano would be the heart of NXT? Who would have thought that Johnny would be the better man than Tommaso CIampa. Candide says they did. They feel great. They are not living in a fairy tale. They are living in reality. The real fairy tale is NXT.
The NXT he loves has become a toxic wasteland where the good people are put down while the evil thrive. Being nice would lead to success. Would you do this media appearance? Would you sign this merchandise? Would you wish some kid a happy birthday? Johnny says he is sick of being nice while that dirtbag gets everything he wants. He is sick of flying the flag in an NXT that does not appreciate them.
Candice says she has not been appreciated. She says she has sacrificed for these women. She put them ahead of her. When she needed anyone, where were you? You were nowhere to be found. Candice says she said over and over that they would change. Candice says she found insanity enlgihtening. She is not going to eat second anymore.
Johnny says they are going to take what they deserve. They know how this place works. Candice says they have been the good soldiers and they were passed over. Johnny says he only trusts Candice. He tells Candice she can trust him. Johnny says they tried to fix NXT, but now they have to tear it down and build it in their image. It is not the Johnny Gargano way, it is their way. They will make history as the first married couple to reign together as NXT Men's and Women's Champ.
Candice says then the good guys win and they will get what they deserve.
We go to Io Shirai and she says she has been waiting for a long time to face Charlotte Flair. She wants to show Charlotte how good she is. Charlotte will find out when she looks in her eyes. The castle where the queen lives, she is destroying it. She bows down to no one.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Drake is asked about what is going through his mind now. He says Jake Atlas is great. Every other athlete in this tournament is fighting their opponent. Drake says he is fighting his opponent and himself. Drake says maybe everyone was right about him.
Match Number Four: Mia Yim versus Jessi Kamea
Kamea with a wrist lock but Mia runs Kamea into the turnbuckles and Mia with forearms. Mia with a drop toe hold and a side head lock. MIa with knees and a shoulder tackle. Kamea with a shoulder tackle. Mia with a shoulder tackle and then she kicks Kamea in the back and gets a near fall. Mia with knees and an Irish whip. Mia misses a splash and Kamea with a waist lock. MIa with a standing switch. Kamea with an uppercut for a near fall. Kamea with forearms. Kamea with a snap mare and kicks. Kamea goes to the turnbuckles and goes for a missile drop kick but Mia avoids it. Mia with a clothesline and kick. Mia with an STO followed by Protect Ya Neck for the three count.
Winner: Mia Yim
After the match, Charlotte Flair's music plays and she makes her way to the ring.
Charlotte says she wanted a match against Mia first against NXT competition and she asks Mia if she wants the match.
Mia says she has seen Charlotte grow into the queen over five years while Mia says she has become the HBIC.
Charlotte says that she wanted to thank Mia for helping her be what she has become and next week, she will do the same for Mia.
We take a look at Jack Gallagher. He says he has been with the cruiserweight division for four years and he has never won the title. He came here to become a champion. Outside the ring, he is a gentleman. If you see his tattoos, you are seeing his war paint. He will be bringing things you never expected to see from him.
We go to commercial.
We go to a photo shoot for Chelsea Green. Robert Stone says Chelsea was inches from being the number one contender. Stone says we are going to reload and move forward. He says that Chelsea is the face of the women's division because she has the looks and the brains. No one has those features. Chelsea says she put the world on notice that she is not just a pretty face. She is the total package. She says she is the future NXT Women's Champion.
Match Number Five: El Hijo del Fantasma (0-0) versus Jack Gallagher (0-0) in a Block B Interim Cruiserweight Championship Tournament Match
They lock up and go around the ring until the referee forces a break. They lock up again and Fantasma with a waist lock take down and a front face lock. Gallagher with a hammer lock and Gallagher plays with Fantasma's mask. Gallagher with a reverse chin lock. Fantasma with a drop kick for a near fall. Fantasma with a chin bar. Gallagher gets Fantasma on his shoulders and slams him to the mat. Gallagher with a series of near falls. Fantasma with forearms to Gallagher. Gallagher sends Fantasma to the apron and Gallagher with a forearm to send him to the floor. Gallagher sends Fantasma into the guardrails.
Gallagher breaks the count and returns to the floor. Fantasma with a kick to the head and then he applies an arm bar from the apron and he sends Gallagher over the top rope to the floor. Fantasma with a pescado.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Gallagher kicks Fantasma in the back a few times. Gallagher gets a near fall. We see footage of Gallagher working over Fantasma during the commercial break. Gallagher with an arm bar. Fantasma with a chop and back elbow followed by a clothesline. Fantasma with a flying clothesline. Gallagher with punches and shoulders. Fantasma with an enzuigiri that sends Gallagher to the floor. Fantasma with a suicide dive onto Gallagher and both men are down. Fantasma sends Gallagher back into the ring and he punches Gallagher. Fantasma with a running back elbow into the corner followed by a rollup for a near fall.
Fantasma gets Gallagher up but Gallagher pulls at the mask. Gallagher with a near fall. Gallagher with a head butt for a near fall. Gallagher misses the drop kick into the turnbuckles but he lands on his feet. Fanatsma gets Gallagher on his shoulders. Gallagher pulls at the mask but Fantasma hits a Samoan Driver for the three count.
Winner: El Hijo Del Fantasma (1-0)
After the match, Fantasma is asked about his victory. Fantasma says that he is going to be the Cruiserweight Chamipon.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Charlotte Flair faces Mia Yim next week. Keith Lee will defend the North American Championship against Damian Preist next week.
We go to El Hijo del Fantasma during the commercial break and he was talking to the camera when the SUV with the Lucha Order trying to abduct him but he kicks them away.
Match Number Six: Keith Lee and Velveteen Dream versus Adam Cole and Roderick Strong (with Bobby Fish)
Strong goes after Lee while Cole goes after Dream as the bell rings. Dream with a shoulder to Cole and Dream punches Cole but Dream goes after Fish and the referee sends Fish to the back. Damian Priest hits Keith Lee in the throat with the night stick before leaving when the referee was not looking. The referee checks on Lee.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Strong gets a near fall. We see that Keith Lee is not at ringside after what Damian Priest did to him. Strong with a front face lock. Dream with punches but Strong with an Irish whip and Dream goes to the apron. Cole tags in. Cole has a bicycle kick blocked and Dream with a punch but Cole with a kick and Strong with an Olympic Slam. Cole gets a near fall. Cole with a forearm to the back of the neck. Strong tags in and he connects with a forearm to the back. Strong with a back breaker. Strong with another back breaker for a near fall. Strong with a head lock with the arm trapped.
Dexter Lumis is now on the apron. Dream with an elbow and both men are down. Strong with a suplex attempt but Dream lands on his feet and hits a rolling Death Valley Driver. Cole tags in and he goes after Dream and Dream tags in Lumis. Lumis with punches to Cole and then to Strong followed by a drop kick to Strong. Lumis punches Strong but Cole punches Lumis. Lumis with a Thesz Press and punches to Cole. Lumis with a spinebuster to Cole. Lumis with a side slam to Strong. Lumis follows with a flip dive onto Strong and Fish.
Dream with an elbow drop on Cole for the three count.
Winners: Velveteen Dream and Dexter Lumis (and Keith Lee too)
