WWE SMACKDOWN REPORT: MATCHES FOR MANIA AND ELIMINATION CHAMBER ANNOUNCED, A FEW RETURNS, AND MORE

We are back with a look at John Cena versus The Rock at Wrestlemania 29.

Renee Young is in the ring and she is here for a contract signing for the Intercontinental Championship.

She brings out the challenger, Shinsuke Nakamura.  She is joined by Cesaro and Sami Zayn.

She then brings out the Intercontiental Champion Braun Strowman.

Renee mentions that both men have had a chance to review the contract and she asks Shinsuke to sign first.

Sami stops Shinsuke from signing.  He tells Braun to grab a seat because he there are here to negotiate like gentlemen.  Strowman throws the chair to the floor.  Sami says he wants to make sure the language is proper because the way that they have been treated is a travesty of justice.  Sami telld Braun that Shinsuke couldn't enjoy his birthday because he had nine staples in his head.  

Braun tells Sami to shut up.  He says everybody is sick and tired of hearing Sami bitch and moan.  Braun says he doesn't care what is in this contract because he knows he has to fight all three of them anyway.  Braun signs the contract.

Sami asks if everyone heard that.  He asks Braun if he is willing to fight all three of them.  Sami points out that Braun has already signed it.  Sami makes a few changes and he signs it along with Cesaro.  Nakamura signs and Sami tells Renee to take the contract to the back.  Now the match will be a three on one handicap match.

Sami tells Braun he is going down at Elimination Chamber.

Braun picks up the table and puts it aside.  

Sami says nothing happens tonight.

Braun asks Sami what makes him think he will make it to Elimination Chamber.  Braun punches Sami and Cesaro but Cesaro with a European uppercut when Nakamura grabs the leg.  Zayn with a series of Heullva Kicks.  Nakamura with Kinshasa.

Cesaro and Nakamura get Braun up and Zayn with a Helluva Kick to send Strowman through the table.

Bill Goldberg will defend the Universal Championship against Roman Reigns at Wrestlemania.

We are back and Drew Gulak is on commentary.

Match Number Four:  Daniel Bryan versus Curtis Axel

Axel with elbows and kicks in the corner.  Axel with a snap mare and leap frog neck snap for a near fall.  Axel with an arm bar.  Bryan with a European uppercut but Axel with an Irish whip.  Axel with forearms to the back of the head followed by a Northern Lariat.  Axel mocks Bryan and Gulak tells Axel to stay on the gameplan.  Bryan with kicks in the corner.  Axel with a kick and he sends Bryan to the floor.  Axel follows Bryan to the floor while Drew taunts Bryan.  Axel sends Bryan into the ring post.  Axel with a boot to the head.  Axel with an Irish whip and he flips out of the corner and hits a flying clothesline.  Bryan with kicks to the chest.  Bryan misses the round kick and Axel gets a near fall. 

Axel with a rollup for a near fall.  Axel with an inside cradle for a near fall.  Axel with a Northern Lariat.  Bryan escapes the Son of PerfectPlex and Bryan applies the LeBell Lock and Axel taps out.

Winner:  Daniel Bryan

We are back with a look at John Cena winning his 16th World Championship at the 2017 Royal Rumble.

Miz and John Morrison are at a photo shoot as we go to commercial.

We are back and the new Smackdown Tag Team Champions Miz and John Morrison make their way to the ring.

Miz asks where are the "You Deserve It" chants.  Miz says the Godfather, Terminator, Rocky, and the Marine had great originals but the sequels were better.  Morrison says if you thought they were great back in the day, check us out now.  Miz says they proved the haters wrong and tney can choke on their pancakes.  Miz says they don't hear the "You Suck" chants, they hear the sweet sounds of victory.  

We are told that Miz and John Morrison will be defending the tag titles against The New Day, Heavy Machinery, Lucha House Party, Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode, and The Usos at the Elimination Chamber in an Elimination Chamber Match.

The Usos make their way to the ring and they mock the John Morrison Slo Mo.

Match Number Five:  Miz and John Morrison versus Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso in a Non Title Match

Jey and Morrison start things off and Morrison with a shoulder tackle.  Jey with a hip toss and Morrison lands on his feet.  Jey with a leg sweep and splash.  Morrison with a punch and Miz tags in but Jey with a hip toss.  Jey with a shoulder and Jimmy tags in and hits a running forearm into the corner.  Morrison with an enzuigiri and Miz with a DDT for a near fall.  Morrison with a forearm and a slingshot elbow drop onto Miz' knees for a near fall.  Morrison with a kick to Jimmy and he chokes Jimmy in the ropes.  Miz tags in and they hit a double gutbuster.  Miz with a running boot to the head.  Miz with a knee to the back and a chin lock.

Jimmy with an arm drag and Morrson tags in.  Miz is sent to the floor and Jimmy with a rollup on Morrison for a near fall.  Jimmy with an enzuigiri and both men are down.  Miz pulls Jey off the apron when Jimmy goes for a tag.  Morrison with a springboard round kick for a near fall.  

We go to commercial.

We are back and Jey and Miz tag in.  Jey with clotheslines and a kick followed by an uppercut and Samoan drop for a near fall.  Jey misses a running hip into the corner.  Miz with a kick and Morirson tags in and Morrison with a springboard double stomp while Miz hits a neck breaker.  Morrison gets a near fall.  Jimmy and Miz are sent to the floor.  Jey with an uppercut and Morrison with punches.  Jimmy tags in and Jimmy and Jey with stereo enzuigiris.  Jey tags in and Jimmy with a suicide dive onto Miz.  Jey hits Morrison's knees on a frog splash and Morrison gets a near fall with an inside cradle.  Morrison is sent to the apron.  Morrison with a forearm and Jey with an uppercut.  Jimmy tags in and Morrison with a forearm to Jimmy.  Morrison goes for Starship Pain but Jimmy with an enzuigiri.  Jey super kicks Miz off the apron and then Jimmy with a Destraoyer and Jey with a frog splash for the three count.

Winners:  Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso

We go to commercial.

We are back and John Cena makes his way to the ring.

John says this is crazy and insane.  He thanks the people.  He says it is Wrestlemania season so it is time to answer the question what is he doing at Wrestlemania.  John says his role has not changed, but he is and he will always be a WWE Superstar.  What is he doing at Wrestlemania?  John says he is doing something different.  John says he knows how hard WWE Superstars work every day for one Wrestlemania moment.  John says he prides on listening to the biggest superstar of them all, the WWE Universe.  

Sometimes you may think they never hear you but John says he hears you and you are passionate about the future of the WWE.  John says he can say he can say what he wants to do at Wrestlemania and it can happen.

John says he is doing the right thing at Wrestlemania.  This year, Wrestlemania should go on without John Cena.  John says he hears you and this is not goodbye, but it is goodbye for now.  This is the right thing to do.  John says he believes in the future.  Wrestlemania spots should be earned, not demanded.  He is betting on the future so Wrestlemania is going on without John Cena.  

John says this makes tonight special because he does not know the next time he will be back.  He says he wanted to do it front of his friends and family and he wants to do it at home.  

John looks out at the crowd from the stage and the lights go out part by part until there is complete darkness.

The lights come back on and The Fiend is behind John Cena.

The Fiend points to the Wrestlemania sign.  Cena accepts the challenge.

We go to credits.
