WWE SMACKDOWN REPORT: BRAY AND DANIEL AGAIN?, TAG TITLE MATCH, WHO GOES TO THE HOSPITAL, AND MORE

By Richard Trionfo on 2019-11-29 21:58:00

We are back and Daniel Bryan is in the interview area.  He paces around.

We take a look at why Bayley and Sasha are going to address the women's division on Smackdown.  We see how poorly Smackdown did at Survivor Series.

Sasha Banks and the Smackdown Women's Champion Bayley make their way to the ring.

Sasha says they need to get one thing clear.  They didn't come out here for a rah rah speech.  They need to get some things off their chests about Survivor Series.  Sasha says she did not choose her team and they would have won if she got to choose them.  Bayley says what happened to the women on Smackdown was embarrassing.  Smackdown did not lose because NXT is better than them and she did not lose because Shayna was better than her.  Smackdown lost because the entire locker room let them down.  Sasha says a great and strong leader is affected by the weakest link and the weakest link was the entire team.  Nikki Cross got into the match by the slimmest of margins.  Bayley says if Lacey wasn't so busy sipping sweet tea on her porch instead of being in the ring, they would have won.

Lacey Evans interrupts and she makes her way to the ring.

Lacey tells them not to test their patience.  She spent all night preparing a Thanksgiving dinner for 36 people including her in laws and have to deal with people who didn't have enough class to sit at a kiddie table.  She wouldn't trust you nasties to lead the chicken dance at a garden party.  If you are going to blame everyone but yourselves for the performance on Sunday, it is time for a new locker room leader.  A person with style and class.  A woman who wouldn't tap out under pressure.

Sasha gets in Lacey's face and shows the Sassy Southern Belle some sass.  Lacey with a Woman's Right to Sasha and she leaves the ring.

Daniel Bryan is still in the back and Kayla Braxton asks Daniel if he is willing to accept Bray's challenge for another title match.

We return to the Firefly Funhouse and Huskus is at the dinner table.  He says he ate too much for Thanksgiving and he is going to explode.  He will feel better if Daniel plays with him again.  Bray tells Huskus the story of Thanksgiving is wrong.  Bray says Huskus can stuff his face all he wants because he can change.  Daniel Bryan can change too.  Here are a few steps to stay Phat.

We take a look at Bray and Huskus doing the Muscle Man Dance.  Bray wants to be let in, as long as you are not a Reptilian.

Daniel Bryan says nothing as we go to commercial.

Match Number Three:  Sonya Deville (with Mandy Rose) versus Nikki Cross

Before the match starts, Mandy says she doesn't like to make fun of the way people look, but look at her.  She looks like the cold plate of Thanksgiving leftovers.

Sonya with a punch to Nikki followed by knees.  Sonya with a round kick to the chest and a sliding knee for a near fall.  Sonya with a rear chin lock.  Nikki with a jaw breaker and head butt.  Nikki with a double thrust to the throat.  Nikki with a splash into the corner followed by a bulldog.  Nikki goes to the turnbuckles and Mandy gets on the apron and Nikki is stopped by Sonya and she press slams Nikki to the mat.  Nikki with an inside cradle for the three count.

Winner:  Nikki Cross

After teh match, Mandy and Sonya attack Nikki.  Sonya with a kick and Mandy with a knee.

Alexa Bliss' music plays and she takes care of Sonya and then she slaps Mandy.  Nikki and Alexa with a double DDT.

Daniel Bryan is in the locker room with Miz.  Miz says he is not Daniel's friend or mentor.  Daniel might not want to listen to him, but look at what happened to Finn Balor and Seth Rollins after a match with the Fiend.  It is tempting to go after the Universal Title, but is it worth it.  MIz asks Daniel if he knows how important Daniel is to Smackdown or the locker room.  We can't afford to lose you.  Your family can't afford to . . .

Daniel looks at Miz and MIz shuts up and leaves.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Drake Maverick tells Dana Brooke his favorite Christmas tradition and he pulls out some mistletoe.  Dana is disgusted and she reminds Drake he is married, but he says it is complicated.

Elias shows up and he says he was on a journey and he has changed.

Drake wants to know what that means.

Elias plays a tune and Dana is impressed.

The New Day make their way to the ring for their open challenge.

Big E says they had quite a Thanksgiving.and they had to cover all of the fixins.  He says today is Black Friday.  A day that is near and dear to their hearts because they debuted on Black Friday.  A day your wildest treasure hunt fanatasies can come true.  Kofi says that is why they have decided to open their doors for business.  There will be a match for their Smackdown Tag Titles.  It will be an Open Challenge.

Big E says the question is Who will accept the challenge?

Sami Zayn comes out with Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro.

Sami says what makes him sick to his stomach is the two of you romanticizing a holiday like Thanksgiving.  A holiday that celebrates imperialistic evil.  You praise the virtue of Black Friday deals, the most fraudulent corporate holiday that promotes rampant consumerism.  People who would step over family members to have a few dollars in their pocket.  Shame on all who perpetuate and promote this bogus holiday.  It is time for the titles to be held by men who can see through this nonsense.  That is why Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura are here.  They will become the new champions.

Match Number Four:  Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura (with Sami Zayn) versus Big E and Kofi Kingston for the Smackdown Tag Titles

Cesaro and Kofi start things off and Cesaro with a shoulder tackle.  Kofi with a jumping back elbow for a near fall.  Cesaro with a knee to the midsection and Nakamura tags in and kicks Kofi.  Nakamura with punches and knees.  Nakamura with an Irish whip and monkey flip but Kofi lands on his feet.  Kofi with a drop kick for a near fall.  Nakamura with forearms to Kofi and he runs into an elbow.  Kofi goes to the turnbuckles but Nakamura pulls Kofi off the turnbuckles.  Nakamura puts Kofi on the top turnbuckle and Nakamura with a running knee for a near fall.  Cesaro tags in and hits a gutwrench suplex for a near fall.  Cesaro with a reverse chin lock.  Nakamura tags in and he kicks Kofi in the midsection.

Nakamura with a forearm but Kofi wit punches to get out of the corner.  Kofi is sent to the apron and he kicks Cesaro off the apron.  Sami pulls Kofi off the apron and Cesaro with a running European uppercut that sends Kofi onto the announce table.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Nakamura and Big E tag in.  Big E with two overhead belly-to-belly suplexes.  Big E with another belly-to-belly suplex.  Big E with a gyrating Warrior Splash but Nakamura moves.  Nakamura with knees to Big E.  Nakamura with an Irish whip but Big E with a UranagE for a near fall.  Big E gets Nakamura up but Nakamura escapes and he kicks Big E in the head.  Cesaro tags in and Nakamura with a kick and Cesaro with a diving head butt for a near fall.  Cesaro sets for a Gotch Style Neutralizer but Big E with a back body drop and Cesaro lands on his feet.  Nakamura tags in and Cesaro is sent to the floor.  Kofi tags in and Kofi with a double stomp off the turnbuckles for a near fall.

Cesaro and Kofi go over the top rope and Kofi skins the cat.  Big E sends Kofi over the top rope but Cesaro with a European uppercut.  Cesaro with a European uppercut to Big E.  Nakamura and Kingston are sent back into the ring.  Nakamura sets for Kinshasa but Kofi with a rollup.  Nakamura with a round kick and he hits a sliding knee for a near fall that is broken up by Big E.  Cesaro sends Big E into the ring post shoulder first and then Cesaro is tagged in.  Cesaro with uppercuts in the corner.  Kofi with a pendulum kick and he tries for Trouble in Paradise but Cesaro catches him and hot shots Kofi.  Sami tries to use the pancake platter but the referee sees Sami try to use it and the referee sends Sami to the back.

Cesaro turns around into Trouble in Paradise for the three count.

Winners:  Kofi Kingston and Big E (retain championship)

We take a look back at what happened after the match between Robert Roode and Roman Reigns.

Daniel Bryan walks in the back as we go to commercial.

We are back and Daniel Bryan makes his way to the ring.

Daniel says Bray Wyatt told him that if he wanted another title match, all he had to do was let him in.  A lot of people gave him unsolicited advice, including the Miz who told him not to do it because The Fiend will change you.  Daniel says he walked into his match against the Fiend the most scared.  In the middle of the match, Daniel says he felt changed.  Daniel was not changed because of the Fiend, but because of you.  That showed him who he had to be the whole time.

Daniel says he has said the Yes Movement is dead, but maybe you guys brought it back to life.  So, Daniel has one question for you.  Bray Wyatt challenged him to a title match.  Does he accept?  The crowd chants Yes.

Daniel joins in with the crowd and Yeses.

We go back to the Firefly Fun House.  Bray says the Miz is right.  If you go through with this, you will change.  Remove your mask and show your true form.  It is only fair because you made me change.  You helped me build this place.  Do you remember?  HE certainly does.  Bray says he almost forgot the best part.  He promised a new face tonight.  Bray says he is a man of his word.

The lights go down and then it goes red.  The Fiend appears from under the ring and Bryan punches and kicks The Fiend.  The Fiend applies the Mandible Claw and he pulls Bryan under the ring but Daniel escapes his grasp.  Bray continues his 'attack' on Daniel and he shows clumps of hair from Daniel.

We go to credits.
