Your winner and new Reina de Reinas Champion, Taya!

This was a good back and forth match with each getting the crowd involved with their vocalizations before and after big moves.

Tessa laid out Taya after.

AAA Tag Team Champions Pentagon Jr. & Rey Fenix vs. LAX, Santana and Ortiz.

So days after they left Impact, LAX are using the name and theme song again!

Pentagon Jr. went into the crowd.  Lucha Brothers got by far the biggest reaction of anyone thus far on the show.  Lots of Mexico chants.

The two teams showed each other respect early.  Lot of playing to the crowd/  Pentagon and Ortiz battled,  Ortiz nailed a rana and splash in the corner.  He flipped Pentagon over into a pinfall combination for a two count.  He went for a DDT but Fenix popped up from it and nailed a springboard leap into a lucha armdrag for a twchippedo count.  Santana cut him off and and nailed a dropkick in the corner.

Pentagon cut off Ortiz on the ropes.  He ripped his shirt off and chopped him hard and sent him to the floor.  Ortiz hit the ring but was dropkicked by Fenis.  Lots of huge Mexico changes.   The Lucha Brothers went for dives but LAX avoided them.  The Luchas went for sliding kicks and were beaten down  LAX then hit stereo dives over the top to the floor.   All four battled in the ring.  LAX cut them off with kicks.  They worked over Pentagon with tag team combination moves for close two counts.  Fenix came back and caught Satana with a kick while on the ropes, then hit a reverse rana on Ortiz.  Santana fell off the ropes, landing on his partner.

LAX tried to double team Fenix but Pentagon nailed Ortiz on the top.  That allowed Fenix to hit a leaping rana into the ring.  The Lucha Brothers drilled them with superkicks for two counts.   They continued working over LAX, scoring two counts.  The crowd was super into everything.  Lucha Brothers went to finish them off but LAX fought back.  Fenix caught Ortiz with a kick.  Santana nailed a reverse powerbomb and Ortiz caie off the top with a splash but Pentagon broke it up.  Ortiz nailed a Canadian Destroyer for a two count on Pentagon.

Santana hit a big springboard dive to the floor on Pentagon.  Ortiz worked over Fenix, who kept kicking up.  LAX set up for their finisher and nailed it.  Pentagon broke up the pinfall with a series of superkicks.  LAX came back to nail him with superkicks.  Fenix ran across the top rope to kick Ortiz in the head then hit a double stomp on him on the apron.  Pentagon nailed a cradle piledriver on Santana for a two count.

Fenix draped himself in the Mexican flag and came off the top for a double stomp on Santana as he was hit with another package piledriver.  He dove out of the ring and wiped out Ortiz as Pentagon scored the pin.

Your winners and still AAA Tag Team Champions, The Lucha Brothers!

This was fantastic.  This was obviously what the crowd came to see as they were insanely loud and into all of this.  Great stuff.

Texano Jr. & Black Taurus & Rey Escorpion  vs. Impact Champion Brian Cage & Psycho Clown & former UFC star Cain Velasquez.

Nice pop for Velasquez, who received the last ring entrance.  Taurus and Velasquez started out.  Velasquez nailed several kicks and tagged in Cage.    Escorpion and Taurus double teamed him but Cage came back with a big chokeslam.    Cage was cut off and triple-teamed.  They powerbombed him, then began pressed and dropped him into several stereo knees and a superkick by Taurus.   Clown and Velasquez wanted to help but were held back by the referee as the beating continued.

Cage was nailed with a series of lariats but kicked off everyone as they charged him.  He collapsed to the mat and fought his way to the corner, tagging in Clown.  Clown nailed a rana on Texano and backdropped Taurus over the top to the floor. Escorpion cut him off and stomped the hell out of him but was caught with a twisting rana.  Clown did his flop over Escorpion into a sunset flip then hit a powerslam for a two count.  Texano tried to nail him with a bull rope but Clown escaped and nailed him.  Clown got the bull rope and began beating everyone in sight, even threatening the referee.

This set up Clown and Cage doing dives over the top, then Velasquez hitting a flying bodypress from the top onto the pile on the floor.  Taurus whipped Velasquez into the corner and nailed a leaping kick to the head.  He covered him but Cage broke it up, only to eat a big right hand.  Cage hit a bucklebomb on Taurus.  He pulled Cage up into a superplex for a two count.  Texano ducked a Cage clothesline and hit a facebuster, followed by a powerbomb for a two count.  Psycho Clown broke it up and nailed Texano with a lariat.  They battled to the corner, where Clown hit a sunset flip powerbomb into the ring.

Escorpion broke up the pinfall and worked over Psycho for a two count.  Velasquez nailed several clothesline but Escorpion kicked him low.  Cage nailed a clothesline.  Everyone began hitting big moves.  Taurus and Velasquez faced off.  Velasquez hit a springboard into a stunner for the pin

Your winners, Impact Champion Brian Cage & Psycho Clown & former UFC star Cain Velasquez.

This was OK.  A lot of it was built to make Cain look like a star.  The finish seemed to come out of nowhere, like the crowd wasn't ready for it.  They were in a TOUGH position following the Lucha Brothers.

The babyfaces all celebrated with fans at ringside and paid respect to the Pena family.

Several dignitaries were introduced.  They marked Mexico's Independence Day and played the Mexican National Anthem.
