It hasn't been a good night for the Undisputed Era. Can Adam Cole end the skid? We shall see as they are up next, best of three falls.
Johnny was out first. Nice pop. But as soon as his music ended, the fans were chanting Adam Cole. He's over. The dude is a major star. He is in the perfect place. If Triple H was booking the main roster, he would be a star there as well. Paul Heyman could make him one too. I guess what I am saying is I hope Vince never gets his hands on him.
Not much of reaction for Johnny on the announce but only because they love Cole. They really love Cole.
Two out of three falls. Fall one is a wrestling match. Now they are dueling for both guys with their chants. Good!
We will see a real two of three falls match here, not the pap that we get on TV due to commercial breaks.
Johnny got control after an even start. It would make sense for him to win this fall, since Cole chose it, then have Cole win the street fight since Johnny chose it. Gargano is working over Cole's right knee. Cole came back with a wheelbarrow onto the apron. OUCH. Cole is selling the knee as he goes to work on Johnny.
They are probably mid way through the first fall and they are already selling their injuries. Johnny kept working on the knee and did some abusive looking stuff to him.
Johnny almost got a pin with a sick Sunset Driver. These guys are working hard. It's strong. They are putting on a clinic. I also love that it's taking a while to get the first fall. They are kicking out right and left, selling neither wants to lose the first fall and go down 0-1.
Cole went out of the ring and grabbed a chair. The ref said no and took it. But he brought it in to kick Johnny in the nuts. He got a two count.
Cole than sat in the chair and mocked Johnny. The ref told Cole he would DQ him if he used it and Cole walked into a super kick. Johnny got the chair. The ref said he would DQ him if he used it. He did anyway and got DQ'd. Then he used the chair in the streetfight and started pasting Cole with it. Then threw it in his face and nailed him with a tope. Johnny gave up the first fall to now destroy Cole in the street fight.
And destroy he did. He abused Cole all around the building. Even took a selfie for a fan. He did a splash off of a table and put Cole through a barricade. Then he yelled Mama Mia and cleared Mauro out from his seat. He put Cole on the announce table. Cole went to the eyes to stop him but got back dropped through the Spanish announce table. The crowd chanted Mama Mia.
Cole was in the ring but Johnny said not yet and got a table from under the ring. And another. The crowd is chanting Johnny Tables. He is throwing chairs in too. But Cole hit a ShiningWizard and dumped him on a chair for a two.
Now Cole is setting up the plunder. The fans love it. Johnny came back to launch Cole face first into a chair like a lawn dart. He locked on the escape and Cole tapped immediately. Here comes the cage of war!
There is already tons of plunder in the cage. Down comes the cage! Fans are going nuts as it comes down. We have chairs and barbed wire,. Kendo sticks. Lots of plunder. No one is going over the top with the wire up there. At least, they shouldn't. The fans are chanting Thank You Regal for the cage of plunder. Both guys are like DAMN, look at this thing. The fans are chanting ECW. Tremendous!
They announce that there is no escape from the cage, it comes down to pinfall or submission.
This is so great. Johnny got a kendo stick first but couldn't use it. Then Cole got one and they are beating each other up. Double superkick. Both down. Let's do best of 21 falls.
Johnny got to the fire extinguisher and shot Cole in the face, then did a DDT onto a chair for a two count.
Johnny went to work on Cole with a kendo stick and then looked up and went for a sledgemammer. Cole went up to stop him so Johnny did a sunset powerbomb for two. These guys are killing themselves.
Johnny got the sledgehammer. But Cole nailed him with superkicks before he could use it. Cole went up and threw the ladder at Johnny then hit Panama sunrise for a two. Fans are chanting NXT. This is great.
Cole set up the ladder and did a Panama Sunrise off it, but only got a two!
Johnny went for the stick but Cole got it first and beat him with it. Cole set up Johnny on the chair but he moved and Cole hit the bad knee. Johnny use the stick to choke him so Cole bit him to break it. It's a war. Gargano got the sledge and hit Cole in the stomach with it. Johnny set up the ladder. And a table. And another. He put Cole on them and went up the ladder. Cole rolled off. Johnny came back down. His hit a Canadian destoyer but only got a two. They chanted fight forever. They have gone almost an hour. Crazy.
Johnny got the bag and got wire cutters. He went up and cut off a piece of wire. Cole climbed to the top to get away from Johnny. They met on a corner of the cage, on a table. They slugged it out on top of the cage. Johnny went to use the wire and they both tell off of the cage, through one of the tables. Mauro yelled Mama F'n Mia! Cole landed on top of Johnny and the ref counted the three.
Adam Cole retains in a match that went about an hour and was just insane. Damn, it was amazing, Minutes after it ended, neither guy moved. Finally the Era came out to get their guy. He was limp. They finally got him up and helped him out. Johnny was left for ded as we went off the air.
