We see Shayna Baszler in the back getting ready for her match against Mia Yim.
Matt Riddle makes his way to the ring
Matt says this is Takeover Toronto and he knows that Killian Dain is in the building. Why don't you get your hairy ass out here to fight him face to face.
Killian Dain comes through the crowd and Riddle sees him. Riddle with forearms but Dain with a knee and punches to Riddle. Dain with a bicycle kick to the temple and he sends Riddle to the floor. Officials come out and separate Riddle and Dain. Riddle chases Dain up the ramp and hits a Superman punch. Dain gouges the eyes and he misses a clothesline but Riddle with a ripcord knee and a running knee to the head. Security makes their way to the stage. Riddle takes care of his security detail while Dain does the same to his. Dain with a cross body to Riddle. More security comes out to stop Dain but that does not work. Riddle jumps on Dain's back and applies a choke. Dain sends Riddle into the LED to try to get out of the hold. Dain grabs Riddle and Dain takes a member of the security detail through a table on the floor as well as himself and Riddle.
Evolve Champion Austin Theory is in the crowd tonight.
Match Number Three: NXT North American Championship Match: Velveteen Dream versus Pete Dunne versus Roderick Strong
Dream has some words for Dunne and he tells him to wait so the crowd can react to him. Dream mocks Dunne's pose. Strong tries to get Dunne to focus on him. Dream tells Strong to shush and Strong with a forearm and Dunne kicks Strong. Strong with a punch and chop to Dunne. Dunne with punches and a forearm. Strong with a side head lock and Dunne with a clothesline. Dunne with a wrist lock and he tries to stomp on the elbow. Drewm clotheslines Strong over the top rope and then Dunne bumps into Dream. The suspenders are off and Dunne is pulled to the floor.
Dream punches Strong and then punches Strong from the turnbuckles. Dream with a twisting double sledge off the turnbuckles followed by a double leg take down. Dream going for a sharpshooter and Strong kicks Dream away. Dunne with punches to Strong and Dunne sends Strong into a drop kick from Dream. Dream works on the arm and Dunne stomps on the arm. Strong is sent to the floor and Dream gyrates and waves to Dunne. Dream with an arm drag and Dunne with a head scissors. Dream goes for a swinging reverse DDT but Dunne escapes and tries for a cross arm breaker.
Dream gets Dunne on his shoulders. Dream escapes the Bitter End and Strong pulls Dream groin first into the ring post. Strong with a drop kick through the ropes to Dunne followed by a backdrop driver to Dream onto the apron followed by one to Dunne on the ringside barrier. Strong drops Dunne onto Dream. Strong with a chop to Dunne. Strong with kicks to Dunne. Strong with a belly-to-back suplex and he gets a near fall on Dunne. Strong with a bow and arrow on Dunne.
Strong with a drop kick to Dunne and then he sends Dream to the floor. Strong with a near fall on Dunne. Strong with shoulders and chops to Dunne. Dunne with chops and then they go back and forth. Strong with a knee. Strong with a back breaker for a near fall. Dream with punches to Strong and Dream with a kick and clothesline. Dream with a side Russian leg sweep for a near fall on Strong. Dream with a back breaker for a near fall. Dream with a knee drop and then he goes for the Sharpshooter and applies it. Dunne goes up top and hits a drop kick to the back of Dream's neck to force the hold to be broken up. Dunne goes for a pescado but Dream moves. Dream iwth a punch to Dunne.
Strong with a drop kick to Dream. Dunne with a moonsault onto Strong and Dream. Dunne flips out of the corner and hits an enzuigiri on Strong. Dunne gets a near fall on Dream. Dunne stomps on Dream and Strong but Dream kicks Dunne and then Strong and Dream with forearms to Dunne. Strong and Dream exchange punches and then Dunne joins in. Dream with a kick to Strong but Strong with kicks to Dream. Dunne with a kick to Strong. Dunne stomps on Dream and Strong's hands. Dream with a rolling Death Valley Driver to Dunne. Strong with an Olympic Slam on Dream. Dunne with an X Plex to Strong and everyone is down.
Dunne knocks Dream off the turnbuckles and Dunne sets for a superplex on Dream. Dream punches Dunne and Dunne grabs the fingers. Strong hits Dunne and then he punches Dream. All three men are on the turnbuckles and Strong sends Dunne to the mat and then Dream flies halfway across the ring thanks to the momentum from Strong's Super Olympic Slam to Dunne. Strong punches Dream and sends Dream to the floor. Strong escapes a triangle and hits a back breaker. Dunne returns to the triangle but Strong backs into the corner. Dunne pulls at the fingers and Dream with an elbow drop from across the ring on Dunne.
Strong with a knee to Dream and then to Dunne. Strong with running forearms to Dunne and Dream as he goes back and forth. Strong sends Dream face first to the mat and Strong with a Gibson Driver of Dunne onto Dream. Strong with a double Strong Hold. Strong eventually releases the hold. Strong goes for a Strong Hold on Dream but Dream kicks him away. Dream super kicks Strong into Dunne. Dream gets Strong and Dunne on his shoudlers but Dunne goes for Dream's fingers. Strong with a knee to Dream when Dunne pulls Dream in the way. Dunne pulls at the fingers on both and then hits Bitter End on Strong but Dream stops the referee's count instead of breaking up the cover.
Dunne kicks Dream and stomps on the hand. Dunne with an Indian Death Lock to the legs and a Curb Stomp to Dream. Dunne misses a kick and Strong with forearms to Dunne. Strong gets Dunne up but Dunne escapes and Strong escapes Bitter End. Dunne lands on his feet on a German suplex attempt. Dunne with a kick and Strong rolls through into a Strong Hold. Dream sends Strong to the floor and Dream hits the rolling Death Valley Driver. Strong sends Dream over the top rope to the floor and hits End of Heartache but Dream with an elbow drop to Strong and Dream pins Dunne for the three count.
Winner: Velveteen Dream (retains Championship)
We see Adam Cole in the back as he prepares for his defense against Johnny Gargano.
Match Number Four: NXT Women’s Championship Match: Shayna Baszler versus Mia Yim
They lock up and Shayna with a wrist lock but Mia pulls at the ear to get Shayna to release the hold. They lock up and Shayna goes for the wrist and Mia goes for the face. Shayna kicks Mia in the leg. Mia with a kick to the back fo the leg to take Shayna to the mat. Shayna goes for the cross arm breaker but Mia locks the hands and then fish hooks Mia. Shayna holds on but Mia gets to the ropes. Mia with an arm drag or two into an arm bar. MIa with a head scissors take down and Yakuza Kick. Mia with a cannonball into the corner and Shayna rolls to the floor. Mia goes for a suicide dive and Shayna with a forearm. Shayna tries to send Mia into the steps or ringside barrier but Mia sends Shayna into the ring steps and then locks the arm in the ring steps. Mia breaks the referee's count and then hits a drop kick to the steps with Shayna's arm in the steps.
They return to the ring and the referee holds Mia back. Shayna rolls away and kicks Mia in the head. Shayna holds her arm as the referee checks on Mia. Shayna with a running knee into the corner followed by kicks to the arm. Shayna with a snap mare and kick to the back for a near fall. Shayna works on the arm and tries to set up the elbow to be stomped on and Shayna has the arm on the mat and Shayna stomps on the elbow. Shayna is still unable to use her right arm without feeling pain. Shayna with a take down and key lock. Mia grabs the wrist and Shayna with a forearm but it was her injured arm. Shayna with a kick and she gets a near fall. Shayna wraps the arm in the ropes to work on the injured shoulder.
Shayna with a kick to the leg and a wrist lock. Shayna with a wrist lock but Mia puts her nails into the ribs. Mia pulls Shayna to the mat by the hair and Shayna with a clothesline using her injured arm and Shayna cannot capitalize. Shayna gets a near fall. Mia with punches and Mia pulls the hair. Mia with a rollup for a near fall. Mia with a kick to the injured arm but Shayna with a drop kick. Shayna with a double wrist lock but Mia gets to the ropes. Mia gouges the eye when Shayna does not release the hold. Shayna misses a knee. Mia with a Saito suplex and both women are down.
Mia with a clothesline and kick to the chest. Mia with jabs and Shayna with a shoulder tackle. Mia with an overhead belly-to-belly throw and Shayna goes to the floor. Mia with a suicide dive. Mia sends Shayna back into teh ring and hits a slingshot DDT for a near fall. Mia misses a boot in the corner and Shayna with knees to Mia for a near fall. Shayna goes for a suplex but Mia blocks it. MIa hot shots Shayna on the turnbuckles. MIa with a Tarantula in the ropes and the referee warns Mia. Mia goes up top and Shayna with a kick. Shayna climbs the turnbuckles and Mia with a shoulder. Shayna tries for a gutwrench superplex but her arm will not allow her to hit the move. Mia sets for a super Code Red and hits it.
Mia gets a near fall. Mia with kicks to the injured shoulder. Shayna with a Kirifuta Clutch but Mia grabs at the injured arm and gets out of the hold. MIa stomps on the injured arm. Mia with a running kick and a cross arm breaker but Shayna locks her hands. Mia with face washes to get the arm breaker applied. Shayna with a Kirifuta Clutch. MIa pulls at the hand again. Shayna with a triangle head scissors and Mia taps out.
Winner: Shayna Baszler (retains Championship)
