WWE RAW REPORT: A TAG TITLE MATCH, WHO IS FIRST IN THE CHAMBER MATCH?, AN INTERESTING END TO THE SHOW, AND MORE

By Richard Trionfo on 2019-02-11 23:00:00

We are back with a Rey Mysterio video package.

Seth Rollins makes his way to the ring.

Seth says he was going to talk about Brock Lesnar and Wrestlemania, but he had a chance to watch that highlight reel so he wants to talk about the last twelve months.  From running the gauntlet last year to going to Wrestlemania to winning the Intercontinental Title to defending it on six continents, it has been a crazy year.  Seth says he was glad to share it with all of you.  This year, he felt like Seth Freaking Rollins.  He rode that momentum all the way to the Royal Rumble to achieve the childhood dream and punch his ticket to Wrestlemania (and he points at the sign).

The next night, the bottom fell out in the name of Brock Lesnar and six F5s.  Seth said he had to go home to think about it.  The bad news is that he took six F5s and it hurt.  Maybe that is from the last twelve months or the fifteen years of his career.  The pain from those F5s was nothing that he felt before.  The good news is that he took six F5s and he is still here.  He took six F5s and he is still standing.  If he can stand then he can fight.  If he can fight, he can stomp.  If he can stomp, he can beat Brock.

He was asked what was it worth to take those F5s.  Seth says he told everyone he did not care.  If Wrestlemania is the last match of his career . . .

Paul Heyman interrupts and makes his way to the stage and he introduces himself.

Paul says he has a Wrestlemania level surprise for Seth.  Brock Lesnar . . . is not here tonight.

Seth says he is not surprised.

Paul says it gets everyone all the time because ignorance is bliss.  He says he is here to educate all of you and to educate Seth Rollins.  You are pontificating on the premise of a misguided notion that all men are created equal and they are not.  Do you honestly believe that your DNA matches Brock's?  You are a great athlete, a top tier performer.  A Wrestlemania main eventer.  One of the best he has ever seen in his life.

Brock Lesnar is a beast.  He is a predator.  Brock is a career killer.  Brock is a merciless sadist with an unrepentant soul.  If you go into Wrestlemania doing what you consider to be your last match, it will be a suicide mission.  If you walk into Wrestlemania and try to take the Universal Title from Brock, you will be the architect of your own demise.  Paul says that is not a prediction, that is a spoiler.

Seth tells Paul he is right, but what you don't understand is that he does not care.  Brock has held this industry, an industry he loves more than anything, hostage for the last two years.  He cannot take it any more.  If it is a suicide mission, he will be the martyr.  He will sacrifice his body and heart.  He will sell his soul to the devil if it means Brock does not leave Wrestlemania as the Universal Champion.

That is not a prediction, that is a spoiler.

Dean Ambrose makes his way to the stage.and then to the ring.

Dean asks for the mic and Seth gives it to him.

Dean says he only has one thing to say to Seth.  Slay the beast.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Peyton Royce and Billie Kay talk about how winning the tag titles means they have come full circle over their fourteen years.  They have worked their butts off to get here and it would be worth it.

Becky says if she doesn't apologize, that frees up her place in the Raw Women's Title Match.  This advise has nothing to do with you wanting her place at Wrestlemania.

Alexa says she would never.  She wants Becky to be true to herself.

Becky says there isn't a true bone in her body.

Alexa tells Becky to go out there and she will be the girl who sold out her pride.

Becky says if she goes out there, she will be selling out Wrestlemania.

Dawson with a kick and he keeps Gable from making the tag.  Gable with a belly-to-back suplex and both men are down.  Roode is pulled to the floor by Wilder and Gable gets to the corner but Dawson knocks Roode off the apron.  Wilder with an elbow off the turnbuckles for a near fall.   Dawson makes the tag but Gable with Chaos Theory to Wilder.  Gable with a German suplex to Dawson and Gable tries to get to his corner but Roode is still on the floor as we go to commercial.

Gable tags in and Gable misses a moonsault and Roode with a Blockbuster while Gable hits a German suplex and Dawson hits the referee to stop the count.  Gable with a victory roll on Wilder for a near fall.  Wilder with a shoulder and he goes up top but Gable stops him.  Wilder holds Gable up while Dawson hits a clothesline and Roode breaks up the cover.   Dawson and Wilder go for a double suplex and Roode catches Gable.  Roode sends Dawson into Wilder and then Roode is DDTed by Dawson.  Gable with a moonsault for a near fall.

Wilder makes the tag and Gable with a forearm to Wilder.  Gable comes out of the corner and The Revival wtih Shatter Machine for the three count.

Winners:  Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder (new champions)

After the match, Wilder and Dawson are asked about their victory.  Dawson says they have been telling each other for twenty-seven years that they are the best tag team in the world.

Becky Lynch makes her way to the ring to make her decision about whether she will apologize or not.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Becky Lynch is in the ring, but she will not be alone for long because Triple H and Stephanie McMahon make their way to the ring.

Stephanie says it has been a long night and she wants to know if cooler heads have prevailed.  Will she get to live her dream or not.  Hunter says they want this to work out.  Stephanie says she meant that this could be the biggest match in Wrestlemania history.  You have to accept the consequences of your actions.  Will you say those two little words or will you throw away your moment in history?

Hunter tells Becky to shut them out because it has nothing to do with them.  Don't let strangers dictate your future.  Their opinions don't matter.  What do you want?  Do you want Wrestlemania?  This is your moment?

Becky says she thinks they don't want her near that match.  She got advice whether she wanted it or not.  She does not trust them and she got angry when she thought her chance was being taken away from her.  She punched Stephanie and slapped Hunter.  If all that keeps her from her dream is two little words . . .

I'm sorry.

Now that that nonsence is out of the way, her path to Ronda Rousey is clear.  If anybody tries to steal her dream, they will be in the fight of their life.  No one is taking her dream from her.

Hunter says she wouldn't have it any other way.  You are going to Wrestlemania.

Becky asks if that is it as Hunter and Stephanie leave the ring.

Becky tells Ron Ron is The Man versus the Baddest Person on the Planet at Wrestlemania.

Ronda Rousey makes her way to the ring

Vince McMahon makes his way to the stage and he wants this to stop.    Before you do something silly, he wants to get something off his chest.  It could be one of the greatest matches in WWE history but she does not like Becky's attitude.  Vince says that he is the man and the man has a tough decision to make.  You are suspended for 60 days.  That suspension runs out five days after Wrestlemania.

We need someone who knows their lane and will stay in it.  We need someone who will take Ronda to the limit and we need Charlotte Flair.

Vince tells Ronda to get used to it because the conclusion will be Charlotte Flair as Raw Women's Champion.
