WWE RAW REPORT: DO YOU LIKE MCMAHONS?, BARON'S SWAN SONG?, A GAUNTLET, AND MORE

By Richard Trionfo on 2018-12-17 23:00:00

We are back and it is time for the new Intercontiental Champion Dean Ambrose to make his way to the ring.

Dean tells the security to get into position to make sure Seth Rollins does not do anything to him.

Dean says the more things change, the more they stay the same.  You disgusting people should be showing him respect.  Everything that he said would happen at TLC happened.  Seth Rollins spun out of control.  Seth Rollins dropped the ball and he choked.  He failed.  He failed himself and he failed all of you.  Dean says he doesn't need respect from you because he has the title.

Seth used to have two titles and now he has none.  He has taken what is most important to Seth and he is not done.  He will make sure that Seth has nothing left.  He will take Seth's career and reputation as a great guy and drag it through the mud and put it in the gutter where it belongs.  Dean says he is the moral compass of WWE and has an obligation to give Seth an opportunity to be a man of honor and integrity to come out and say that he was right.

Seth does not come out and Dean suggests an open challenge, not for the title.  Maybe you want to come out and punch him in the face a few times.

Dean says that Seth is no hero, he is a whiner like all of you and when things don't go his way, he crumbles.

Dean says since Seth does not have the guts to come out and Dean says he will make an Open Challenge for anyone in the back, not named Seth Rollins.

After the match, Dean says that was the performance of a champion with integrity and he says that Seth Rollins would never show up . . .

Seth Rollins' music plays and Dean sends three of his guards to watch the ramp.  Meanwhile, Seth Rollins was in disguise and he super kicks Ambrose.  Seth with punches to Dean and the other security members realize what is going on and Seth takes care of them.

Shane McMahon is asked about the fresh start on Raw.  Shane says new faces.  People who have not gotten the opportunity in the past will get their chances now.

Drake Maverick shows up and he introduces Shane to the Authors of Pain.  Drake tells Shane that they had their titles stolen from them.  Drake suggests that Shane give them their rematch tonight.

Shane says mandatory rematches are antiquated.  Baron handed you the tag titles.  He will create an opportunity for AOP.  You will take on the B Team, the Revival, and Lucha House Party in a Fatal Four Way match.  The winner gets a future tag title opportunity.

We are going to take a look at some new faces coming to WWE.  They include Lars Sullivan, Lacey Evans, EC3, Nikki Cross, and Heavy Machinery.

We are back and it is time to take a look at some new faces coming to Raw and Smackdown.

We see a video package for Lars Sullivan talking about all of the different animals and giants you have seen before, but you have never seen a freak like him.   We also see a feature on Lacey Evans.  Next up is Heavy Machinery, Otis Dozovic and Tucker Knight.  Then we see a video for Nikki Cross.  She asks what happens when there is no fear, only chaos.  Then we look at EC3.

Lio Rush and Bobby Lashley are in the ring.  Lio says since tonight is about fresh starts, they are going to give you a performance you have never seen before.  Lio says Elias isn't the only one who can play sweet sounds with a guitar.  The greatest music Elias heard was the sound of the guitar cracking over his back last night thanks to Bobby Lashley.

You came here to see a true work of art and that is what Bobby Lashley is going to give you.  Lio has Bobby do some poses for the crowd.

Lio says comparing Bobby Lashley to Elias is like comparing the Golden State Warriors to the Sacramento Kings.

Elias interrupts Bobby's pose with a guitar to the back.

The Lucha House Party pick up their pinata as they go to the ring.

We go to commercial.

We are back with a Sami Zayn video feature where he talks about being overlooked.  Sami is coming back soon.

Wilder tags in and they hit Shatter Machine on Bo for the three count.

Winners:  Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder

Seth Rollins is in the back and he is asked about the match at TLC.  Seth says last night was a disaster.  Personally and professionally, everything went wrong.  He let Dean get inside his head.  Seth says he heard the crowd and it is all on him.  Seth says he has to own that and move forward.  It is not about his performance in the ring and titles.  This is his life.  Seth says he has dedicated everything to this.  Seth says he will right that ship and it starts with him ending Dean Ambrose.

Baron Corbin stops by and Seth wants to know if he can help him.

Baron says that everyone thought he was doing well until Seth said something.  He forced him into the TLC match and everyone hates him in the back.  Baron says if the locker room had not attacked him tonight, he would have taken Seth's title, but Dean already did that last night.
