WWE RAW REPORT: DO YOU LIKE MCMAHONS?, BARON'S SWAN SONG?, A GAUNTLET, AND MORE

By Richard Trionfo on 2018-12-17 23:00:00

We are in Sacramento, California and your announcers are Michael Cole, Renee Young, and Corey Graves.

Vince McMahon makes his way to the ring.

Vince says he doesn't want to hear any boos tonight.  Vince says people have asked what is going on with Monday Night Raw and Vince says he has asked himself that question.  Raw has been on the air for more than 25 years.  One of the reasons for its success is that they change for the times.  Despite one man's brilliance, despite one man's creativity, one man's vision, he can't do it all by himself any more.  Vince says he could do without the crowd.  Vince says with that in mind . . .

Stephanie McMahon makes her way to the ring.

Vince brings out the next person to appear and it is . . .

Triple H.

Not to be outdone, it is time to do some shuffling on the stage because Shane McMahon is here too.

Stephanie says they are out here tonight because they are not doing a good job for you lately.  They are not listening to the audience.  They have let middle managers air their grievances and they have been suffocating their superstars and that ends tonight.

Hunter says absentee management is over and the four of them will be taking over Raw.

Shane says that goes for Smackdown as well.  They are here to ensure that you have the best possible experience.

Stephanie says they are going to empower the superstars and the fans.

Hunter says they are going to give you what you want.  Something new and something fresh.  In the coming weeks and months, you will be seeing new faces and new superstars.  As of now, you are the Authority.

Vince says that as long as they give you more of what you want than what you don't want, it will be then, now and forever.

Baron Corbi makes his way to the stage and he tells Vince that no one is more excited for a fresh start than him.

Stephanie says the people are booing Baron.

Baron says he is excited that the entire McMahon family is running Raw.  You stood out here and spoke some amazing words and there is one word you did not include and that was fair.  What happened to him last night was not fair.  Baron wants to have a simple conversation.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Baron is still in the ring and he is feeling the Sacramento love.

Baron says this is a small group and the way the crowd reacts tonight is not how everyone feels.

Hunter tells the people if they continue to boo, it is harder for him to speak.

Baron does not know how he can explain himself while this is going on.  Baron asks Stephanie to quiet the crowd but Stephanie wants Vince to hear everyone and he is losing his hearing.

Baron calls this hilarious and he asks if they have no respect.  Baron says every night he comes out and does his best.

Vince reminds Baron that he has a microphone and the crowd does not.

Baron says he has been trying to motivate superstars and it is not his fault if they cannot live up to the challenge.  Braun Strowman was not supposed to be at TLC and he was not prepared for the match and the people Braun brought out.  Baron asks if that was fair.

Hunter says that Baron is out here to say it is unfair and a travesty of justice and you want us to reconsider you as permanent GM of Raw.

Baron says he would have beaten Braun if it wasn't for Apollo Crews, Heath Slater, Chad Gable, Bobby Roode, Finn Balor, and Kurt Angle.  Will you overturn that ruling and name him General Manager of Raw.

We get a McMahon pow wow and Stephanie says no.  Shane says no.  Hunter gives a no.  Stephanie says there is no chance in hell.

Vince says there is a way.  Hunter says Vince makes a good point.  Maybe they are wrong.  Maybe you deserve a chance to be named permanent General Manager of Raw.  Hunter says if Baron can win his match tonight, he will be named permanent General Manager.  All he has to do is beat this man . . .

Out comes Kurt Angle.

Stephanie says there is a special guest referee and it is Heath Slater.

Roode, Gable, and Crews punch Corbin and send him into the ring for the Three Rivers German Suplex combination.  Gable tags in and he hits a German suplex.  Roode with an Irish whip and clothesline into the corner.  Crews with an enzuigiri.  Corbin goes to the floor and he tries to go into the crowd but Gable, Roode, and Crews send Corbin back into the ringside area.  They surround Corbin and Heath Slater adjusts the turnbuckles pads as all four men attack Corbin.
