WWE RAW REPORT: TAG TITLE MATCH, TRIPLE H, MICK FOLEY, ROMAN CONFRONTS BRAUN, AND MORE

By Richard Trionfo on 2018-09-10 23:04:00

We are back and Triple H makes his way to the ring.

Hunter says on the night after SummerSlam, he said that the era was back and that through mutual respect he would face the Undertaker again in Melbourne.  The legends came out and gave their thoughts on the match.  Then there were polls about who would win the match and most people picked the Undertaker.  Hunter says that is to be expected.  He is the Undertaker.  Hunter says at this level, those predictions and opinions don't get to you, or they shouldn't.  That was until Shawn Michaels gave his opinion.  It bothered one man so much.

The Undertaker.  It is almost laughable that the Undertaker was bothered by Shawn Michaels' opinion.  Hunter says he does not get it.  Hunter says the Undertaker was so rattled that he had to make an appearance in the ring.  He accused Shawn of being bitter and made threats.  Hunter says he watched it back and Hunter says it made him mad.  It seemed like the Undertaker lost respect for Shawn and him.  Hunter says it wasn't the case.  He hadn't lost respect for Hunter or Shawn, he lost respect for himself.  That was Taker's last epic moment of greatness and Taker blames them for their demise.

Hunter says he has to look no further than the fact that Taker is not here tonight.  If you go back to those matches with the Undertaker at Wrestlemania, he was never quite the same.  Things went downhill. The aura would go away.  The streak would go away.  The mystique would go away.  All that is left is a reputation.

Hunter says Taker said one thing that was true.  It is now personal.    Hunter says that the last bit of respect he has for the Undertaker, he will put him down.

We take a look at what happened when The Shield confronted Braun and his friends. The 'police officers' are still outside the building to see if The Shield return to the arena.

We see Alexa Bliss in the back with Alicia Fox and Mickie James.

Match Number Three:  Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre versus Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas for the Raw Tag Team Championship

Bo and Dolph start things off and Bo with a front face lock.  Ziggler with a waist lock and Bo with a standing switch.  Dolph gets to the ropes and he connects with a back elbow.  Ziggler with a punch and drop kick.  Bo with a neck breaker and he gets a near fall.  Bo sends Dolph into the turnbuckles and he punches and kicks Ziggler before tagging in Axel.  Axel with punches and kicks.  Bo tags in and he kicks and punches Ziggler.  Axel tags back in and Bo with a clothesline into the corner followed by a DDT from Axel for a near fall.

Ziggler with a kick to the knee and then he sends Axel into the corner and connects with a back elbow.  Axel with punches and then he punches Drew on the apron.  Ziggler with a super kick.  Drew tags in and he connects with a boot to the head that knocks Axel off the apron and we go to commercial.

We are back and Drew with an arm bar on Axel.  Drew with a belly-to-back suplex for a near fall.  Drew with a wrist lock and he works on the fingers.  Drew with a kick to Axel's head.  Drew runs into an elbow and then Drew gets Axel on his back and Ziggler tags in with a super kick and Drew with a reverse Alabama Slam for a near fall.  Axel blocks a kick and he catapults Ziggler into the turnbuckles.

We take a look back at the first Hell in a Cell Match between Undertaker and Mick Foley.

Jerry Lawler says that it left moments that stay in your head.  Kofi talks about the anticipation before Foley got thrown off the cell.  Mark Henry says you wanted to put your hand over your face so you didn't have to watch.  DDP talks about how Foley looked after the carnage.  John Cena says that will never get out of anyone's minds.  Terry Funk says he wanted the match to be special and it was.  Funk says that was the scariest match he has ever seen.  Chris Jericho says nothing will compare to that.

We are back and Baron Corbin asks Dean and Seth if they want to go to jail.  Seth says the Shield left.  Dean says it is just Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins, it is only the two of them.  Baron says this is disrespecting his authority so he is going to have them arrested last week.

Seth says that they were arrested last week when all of the hell that has taken place over 25 years of Raw.  Seth says that they were attacked by goons that remind him of Baron.  Seth talks about falsifying records.  Seth says he has someone who disagrees with Baron.  Seth says he has a sheriff from New Orleans Parish to arrest Baron.  Baron denies everything and Seth has the sheriff arrest him.

Baron says he wants to talk to Seth in private and Seth is okay with it.

Dean talks to the sheriff and he talks about the need to search the vehicle.  Seth comes out and tells Officer Ambrose that he won't need him any more.

Match Number Four:  Kevin Owens versus Tyler Breeze

Owens knocks Tyler off the apron before the bell rings and sends him into the ringside barrier.  Breeze with punches but Owens with a punch.  Breeze with an enzuigiri.  Breeze goes for a pescado but lands on his feet when Owens moves.  Owens with a power bomb onto the apron.

Kevin says two weeks ago, he walked away from this place and it felt good.  Then the acting General Manager called him and begged him to reconsider and come back.  Unlike all of you and unlike the people in the back, Baron Corbin recognizes his value as the true MVP of Monday Night Raw.  Kevin agreed to return on one condition and that is that he is not held accountable for what he does.  What he just did is just his job.

Last week, when he helped destroy the Shield, he did it because he wanted to, he was not helping anyone.  Kevin says there is no one who can stop him.  There is one person who is to blame for Kevin's behavior.  It is Bobby Lashley.  Bobby intentionally injured his friend Sami Zayn.  Sami needs to be by Kevin's side.  Kevin says he quit because of Bobby Lashley.  Bobby is the reason why he is back.  What Kevin did last week is only the beginning and you better remember that this is still the Kevin Owens Show.  You can expect three things from now on.  Anarchy, agony, and destruction.  It is all Bobby Lashley's fault.

We have a video package for the WWE Championship Match on Sunday between Samoa Joe and AJ Styles.

Bobby Roode says with Chad Gable by his side, the tag team division will become . . . Chad says GLORIOUS.

Match Number Four:  Bobby Roode and Chad Gable versus Konnor and Viktor

Gable and Viktor start things off and Gable with a German suplex and Exploder.  Gable with another suplex and he knocks Konnor off the apron.  Gable with another exploder but Konnor with a clothesline and then he tags in.  Konnor with a reverse chin lock.  Gable with punches but Konnor with a forearm to the back.  Konnor with a punch and Viktor tags in.  Konnor with a splash and Viktor with a Harley Race knee.  Viktor with a reverse chin lock.  Gable with punches but Viktor with a knee.  Viktor keeps Gable from making the tag and Viktor misses Roode on the apron.
