WWE RAW REPORT: SHAWN MICHAELS TALKS TAKER/HHH AND HAS A GUEST, TAG TITLE MATCH, AND MORE

By Richard Trionfo on 2018-09-03 23:06:00

We are back and Natalya tells Ronda Rousey that she is not feeling like herself.  The Bellas enter to check on Natalya.  Natalya says she needs a minute.  Brie and Nikki talk about how there is no one like Ronda in WWE.  Brie says that there is more than winning matches.  Nikki says that Ronda encouraged them to come back and they offer their help as training partners.  Ronda says that she is good with Natalya.  Nikki offers Ronda help outside the ring.

Shawn Michaels makes his way to the ring.

Shawn says that they are talking about the last time ever between The Undertaker and Triple H in Melbourne.  That match will be so insane that Shawn will fly 98 hours to see the match personally.  It will be something that we are never going to forget.  Shawn says he can almost guarantee it.

Shawn says he was surprised to see how many people picked the Undertaker.  He would have understood if the Wrestlemania streak was intact.  Shawn says he was surprised to hear people say that the Undertaker has the advantage.  Shawn says that his Texas buddy Steve Austin are in agreement because they both think that Triple H is going to win.

Shawn says that you might not think he is objective because Hunter is his best friend.  The fact of the matter is that it is purely professional.  The Undertaker needs to understand that HHH is still the Game and the Cerebral Assassin. Hunter has a lot more left in the tank than Undertaker.  The Cerebral Assassin will cerebrally assassinate the Undertaker.  There is nothing . . .

The Undertaker's gong sounds and the lights go out.

We see the lightning and effects as the building turns blue.

The Undertaker makes his way to the ring.

Undertaker says he thinks this just became personal.  How long was it, 20 years that you and Triple H were best friends?  In those 20 years, he took the best that you had and the best that Triple H had and he put both of you down.  In the process, he reached in and took part of your soul.  Your egos cannot accept it.  You chose Triple H because he took the one thing from you that was most important . . . your career.

Shawn asks Taker is that what he thinks this is about.  Shawn says he is a man of his word.  Somebody had to restore faith in the system.  Everyone else can go back on their word after six months.  Shawn says he has stayed away and stayed true to his retirement because he is a man of his word.  He is a man of honor and a man of integrity.  He stayed retired out of respect for the system, out of respect for the fans, and he stayed retired out of respect for Undertaker.

Every time he steps into an arena, he hears people chanting for one more match.

Taker asks Shawn if it is about respect.

Shawn says he always hears the calls for one more match.  Half that locker room is beating down his door every year for a dream match at Wrestlemania.  Shawn says he turns down millions of dollars for one more match.  Shawn says he stayed retired out of respect for the Undertaker.

Taker asks if it is respect or is it fear.  If you had ever chosen to come out of retirement, there would only be one person you come after and it would be him.  Undertaker says he would put Shawn down all over again.  Taker says everyone knows it.  He says there is one more thing you need to know.  He will put Shawn's buddy, Triple H, down again.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Finn Balor is in his locker room and Baron Corbin enters the room and says that with everything that is going on, you are going to have a match, but not against him.  It will be against Braun Strowman.

After the match, Dana tells Titus and Apollo that she is done with them and she walks away.

We see Bobby Lashley come out of Baron Corbin's office and he is asked about what happened.  Bobby shows Charly his performance review.  It says that Bobby has to go to a meditation intervention with Jinder Mahal because he is a danger to the roster.

Bobby says this is what is best for him because Baron is helping him with his anger issues.  Bobby says there are times when he is too tense so he is looking forward to finding his inner peace with Jinder Mahal.

Drew and Dolph check on Strowman and Balor with a plancha onto all three men.  Strowman sends Balor back into the ring.  Balor with an enzuigiri from the apron.  Balor goes up top but Strowman grabs Balor by the throat.  Balor with body scissors into a triangle.  Braun with a choke slam to escape the hold.  Braun gets Balor up and hits a power slam for the three count.

Winner:  Braun Strowman

After the match, Balor is fed to Strowman for another power slam.  Strowman throws Balor to the floor and they leave the ring but Drew adjusts the ring steps.  They look around and laugh as they set up Balor for a Cerberus Bomb onto the ring steps.

There is a siren and that keeps Braun, Drew, and Dolph from doing anything while they wait around for the entrance of The Shield.   Braun, Dolph, and Drew continue to watch while the police van backs into the arena.

Roman Reigns emerges and he opens the back of the van to let Dean and Seth out.

The Shield stand on the ramp and then they make their way to the ring but they are hit by Jinder Mahal, Kevin Owens, and Drew Gulak.  Reigns is sent into the apron while Seth and Dean are attacked on the stage.  Braun hits Roman with the ring steps.  Dean is sent into the matrix board while Seth is sent off the stage into the van and the window breaks.  The steps are used on Roman some more.  Dolph slams the door of the van into Seth's head.  Drew with a Claymore to Dean.   Ziggler with a super kick to Seth.  Strowman with a power slam on the floor.
