WWE RAW REPORT: IS THE FRIENDSHIP OVER?, A NEW CHAMPION, WHO IS NEXT FOR LESNAR?, RONDA MAKES A STATEMENT, AND MORE

By Richard Trionfo on 2018-06-18 23:03:00

We are back with a look at the Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match from last night.

Braun Strowman makes his way to the ring and he has his briefcase.

He says he has smashed tables and broken ladders.  He flipped over an ambulance with his bare hands.  He won a trophy in Saudi Arabia by tossing people around like bean bags.  He even played a cello.  Braun says this was the greatest as he holds the briefcase.  He stepped in the ring with seven other superstars and he smashed and snatched the contract.  Now all Brock Lesnar has to do is show his face and then he will cash in to become the new Universal Champion.  The Beast is going to get these hands.

Kevin Owens' music plays and he makes his way to the stage and he does it gingerly.

Braun says he is surprised to see Kevin after he threw him off a twenty foot ladder last night.

Kevin says he probably shouldn't be out here.  He says it hurts to breathe, but he has to talk to Braun.  He is not here to steal your spotlight or get retribution.  He wants to be the first from the locker room to say . . . congratulations.  Kevin says you deserve it (and the crowd chants it).  Kevin says he knew Braun would win and you know that Braun knew that Kevin knew he would win.  That is why he tried to band together to neutralize you.  Kevin says he might be foolish and he tells Braun to listen to him.  You are Mr. Monster in the Bank.  Now you have this incredible opportunity.  You need to be smart about this and you need a strategy.  Kevin says that is where he fits in.

Kevin says they have a lot in common.  He is not a monster.  People think they are angry individuals, but they are good hearted.  Who has their backs in this company?  You haven't needed anybody so far, but last night, your life changed when you won that.  Who can you count on around here?  At Wrestlemania, when you needed a tag team partner, you had to go into the crowd to get a ten year old kid.  Kevin says his best friend was injured at the hands of Bobby Lashley and Kevin has no idea when he will be back.  Kevin says they are both alone and they both need a friend.

Maybe friend is too strong a word.  Maybe they can help each other.  They can use each other.  Kevin says he knows how prestigious it is to be Universal Champion.  After they help . . . use each other and Braun cashes in the briefcase, they can have a match for the Universal Title.  You do something for him and he does something for you.  They can start it tonight.  Monster and man.  Kevin says he does not want these hands.  All he wants to do is shake Braun's hand.

Kevin holds out his hand adn Braun shakes it.  Braun does not let go as he drops the mic.  Kevin tries to leave the ring and Braun holds on.  Braun pulls Kevin close and Kevin begs for mercy before Strowman gets Owens up.  Kevin is able to escape and get out of the ring.

We take a look at what the Riott Squad did to Bayley after Ruby beat Bayley.

Sasha Banks is in the locker room and Bayley stops by.  Bayley humbles herself and she says sorry to Sasha about last night.  She says she was rooting for Sasha last night.  Bayley says Sasha can stop.  She says Sasha can stop replaying the ladder match in her head.

Sasha says she wants to be the best.  Bayley says she does too and she tells Sasha it doesn't help to sit around and sulk.  Bayley says she was humiliated by the Riott Squad and she is ready to take the fight to them with Sasha.  Things haven't been great between them and she needs Sasha as her partner.  This can be a new start for both of them.

They shake hands and they are BFFs again.

Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt make their way to the ring.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Curtis Axel appears on the TitanTron like Matt Hardy and he says the B Team must delete you.  Bo Wyatt appears and he tells Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt they are destined to dance in the shadow and do all sort of weird things you aren't going to like.  Things like . . .

Bo takes off the beard.  He says they are not afraid and they are going for the tag titles.

Curtis says that would be wonderful.  He says he never breaks character.

Bo says they are the B Team . . . RUN

They drop down out of the camera shot.

Jinder Mahal says that we must be open for change.  Last night, he felt the winds of change.  He felt a gust in his very core.  Roman Reigns might have won the match, but he won the battle of self improvement.  Just like all of you, Roman Reigns is bitter and angry while the Maharaja has found tranquility.  As a spiritual being, he stays committed to change, unlike his opponent.  Chad, you are living your former glory as an amateur wrestler.  You must forget about the past and the darkness.  You will find the light and see shanti.
