WWE SMACKDOWN REPORT: A SUMMIT THAT TURNS INTO A MATCH, HARDY VERSUS NAKAMURA, AJ TALKS TO LAWLER, AND MORE

We are in Memphis, Tennessee and your announcers are Tom Phillips, Byron Saxton, and Corey Graves.

The women in the Money in the Bank Match from Smackdown are in the ring with Paige, but there are no ladders.

Paige introduces Naomi, Lana, Becky Lynch, and Charlotte Flair.

Paige says they have the opportunity to change your lives forever.   She mentions that Raw is bringing their four finest women into the match.  Paige says she needed the best that Smackdown had to offer.  These ladies qualified and earned their chance to be in the match.  Paige says she does not care who wins, as long as one of you brings the briefcase back to her house.

Lana says she will bring it home.

Naomi interrupts and Lana asks Naomi if she can climb a ladder better than she can dance.  

Naomi reminds everyone she won the Wrestlemania battle royal and she will win on Sunday.

Charlotte reminds Naomi that Naomi won because Charlotte was not in the match.  Charlotte says she has won the NXT, Divas, Raw, and Smackdown Women's Title.  She will complete the cycle.

Becky says if anyone is going to win on Sunday, it will be her.  Becky reminds everyone that she was the first woman drafted to Smackdown and the first Smackdown Women's Champion.  She says she is going to grab that briefcase and cash it in and become the Smackdown Women's Champion again.

Charlotte wishes her luck and Becky says she does not need luck.  Becky says she is willing to go through anything and anyone, including her best friend.  Becky reminds Charlotte that she won last week.

Naomi reminds Becky and Charlotte there are six other women in the match.

Peyton Royce and Billie Kay make their way to the stage.  

Billie asks Peyton if she is thinking what Billie is thinking.  Peyton says it will take a miracle for Smackdown to bring back the briefcase.  Billie says that is true, but the WWE Universe smells funny.

Peyton does a Becky Lynch impression.  Billie Kay does a Charlotte Flair impression.

Naomi wants to know if they are done yapping their mouths.

Billie says they didn't forget about Naomi and Lana.  Billie and Peyton dance like Lana and Naomi.

Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville make their way onto the stage.  Mandy tells Paige that she hates to break it to her because she will be disappointed on Sunday.  The talent outside the ring is superior to the talent in the ring.

The women in the ring go to the floor and we have a brawl.

We take a look back to Daniel Bryan "Occupying Raw" from 2014.

Daniel Bryan gets ready in the back as we go to commercial.

We are back and we will have an eight woman tag match later tonight.

We take a look back at Daniel Bryan's comments after last week's Smackdown to respond to Big Cass' comments.

Match Number One:  Daniel Bryan versus Shelton Benjamin

They lock up and Benjamin with a knee and forearm.  Benjamin with an Irish whip and Bryan flips over Benjamin and hits a flying clothesline.  Bryan goes for the Yes Lock but Benjamin counters and gets Bryan to the mat.  Bryan with a hammer lock.  Bryan gets a near fall.  Bryan with European uppercuts.  Bryan with a kick and Benjamin sends Bryan to the apron.  Benjamin with a thrust kick to the knee and Bryan goes to the floor.  Benjamin goes to the floor and he drops Bryan's knee on the announce table.

Benjamin slams Bryan's leg into the ringside barrier and then he returns to the ring to break the referee's count.  The referee checks on Bryan while Benjamin waits in the ring.  Bryan gets to the apron and he side steps Benjamin who goes to the floor.  Bryan with a running knee off the apron.  Bryan sends Benjamin back into the ring and Bryan goes up top and misses a diving head butt when Benjamin moves.  Benjamin with a single leg crab.

Benajmin with a KneeDT with Bryan's leg in the ropes.  Benjamin slaps Bryan in the head and then he punches Bryan.  Bryan punches back but Benjamin with a drop toe hold and he returns to the leg.  Bryan struggles to get to the ropes and he succeeds.  Bryan lands on his feet on a German suplex attempt but Bryan's knee buckles a bit.  Bryan avoids the dragon whip and Bryan with a kick to the knee.  Bryan with punches and kicks but Benjamin with a kick to the knee.  Bryan with a dragon screw.

Bryan kicks Benjamin in the chest and then he puts Benjamin's leg in the rope and applies pressure followed by a drop kick to the knee.  Benjamin drops Bryan on the turnbuckles and he connects with a knee to the head.  Benjamin with a superplex and he gets a near fall.  Benjamin misses Paydirt and Bryan gets Benjamin down for the Yes Lock and Benjamin gets a near fall with a rollup.  Benjamin with a single leg crab.  Bryan counters into a heel hook and Benjamin taps out.

Winner:  Daniel Bryan

The announcers run through the card for Money in the Bank.

We see AJ Styles take his title belt as he makes his way to the ring to talk to Jerry Lawler.

We are back and Paige walks in the back and she sees Asuka. 

Asuka says she wants Carmella tonight. 

Paige says she cannot do that, but she will make the women's tag match a ten woman tag match.

Asuka says that will be good for her but bad for Carmella.

We see Miz in his referee gear.  Paige asks what is he doing and he says he is getting ready for a role.  Paige asks what is the role and Miz says it is Ruff Ruff Ref.  Miz asks to be made the guest referee for the Samoa Joe versus Rusev match.  

Paige says that Miz is not a good enough actor.   Paige says she knows what Miz wants to do. 

Miz says that after teaching Paige everything about acting on Santa's Little Helper.

Paige says that she will let Miz be the referee in the Samoa Joe versus Rusev match.  Miz says that is what he wanted.

We take a look back to the WWE Title Match at Backlash and the contract signing.

Jerry Lawler comes out to the Okerlund Zone to interview WWE Champion AJ Styles.

Jerry says it was great when AJ slapped Nakamura last week.  He wants to know what made AJ slap Nakamura.

AJ says he lost his cool because Nakamura got under his skin.  AJ says that he should apologize.  AJ says he is sorry he didn't knock Nakamura's head off with his fist.  AJ says there are unwritten rules and if Nakamura cannot follow them, he will be disciplined.  AJ says he will be the last man standing.  At Money in the Bank, he will be walking out the same way he walked in . . . the WWE Champion.

Miz is in the back getting lessons from one of the referees.  Miz asks if he can touch the wrestlers since they cannot touch him.

We go to commercial.

We are back and the Smackdown tag title match will be defended on the Kickoff Show.

Aiden English comes out introduce Rusev.

Match Number Two:  Rusev (with Aiden English) versus Samoa Joe with Guest Referee Miz

They lock up and Joe with a knee and jabs.  Miz warns Joe and Miz reminds Joe that he is the referee and Joe cannot touch him.  Rusev with punches and Miz stops Rusev because Joe was in the ropes.  Rusev wtih a clothesline and Joe goes to the floor.  Rusev slams Joe's head into the apron and then back into the ring.  Joe with a forearm to knock Rusev off the apron and then Joe with a suicide dive forearm and we go to commercial.
