Former UFC Bantamweight Champion turned WWE star Ronda Rousey is in New York City for today's NBC Upfront presentation, PWInsider.com has confirmed.
NBC Universal will be making their upfront presentation to the media later today at Radio City Music Hall, making announcements for the fall season for NBC and their associated cable networks. As PWInsider.com broke last week, The upfronts presentation will feature a WWE wrestling ring as part of the staging for the event. Whether this is a sign of greater things between the two entities as we hit the time period WWE has promised to announce their new TV deal remains to be seen, but certainly the inclusion of WWE-related intellectual property as part of the staging is interesting.
As noted on the WWE quarterly earnings call two weeks ago, Stephanie McMahon will be in attendance and will be appearing on stage during the presentation. Triple H, John Cena, WWE Raw Women's Champion Nia Jax,Charlotte Flair and Nikki and Brie Bella will also be at today's presentation.
NBC just renewed Total Divas for two more seasons.
