WWE SMACKDOWN REPORT: WWE TITLE MATCH, IS THE POWER COUPLE DONE?, KEVIN AND SAMI CONFRONT SHANE, AND MORE

By Richard Trionfo on 2017-11-07 22:00:00

We start off with AJ Styles talking about how he has the opportunity to become WWE Champion and he will seize it.  Jinder might be bigger and stronger, but he is not AJ Styles.  AJ will be the next WWE Champion.

Jinder Mahal says he beat up AJ Styles last week and it was fun.  Because of that, he is forced to defend his WWE Championship.  AJ is phenomenal, but he will be a phenomenal loser tonight.  Jinder says he will still be the WWE Champion.

We are in Manchester, United Kingdom and your announcers are Tom Phillips, Corey Graves, and Byron Saxton.

Shane McMahon makes his way to the ring.

Shane reminds us how special Survivor Series is.  Shane says Raw will never be able to say that Smackdown is the B Show after Survivor Series.  It will be The Show.  This year is personal.  Shane talks about what happened to Daniel Bryan and he says that he blames Stephanie and Kurt for what happened to him.  Shane tells Kurt that he will be standing across from him in the ring and he will get payback for what happened to Daniel.

Shane says Daniel will be back next week.  The Smackdown locker room has a lot of fight.  Shane says he will bring out a few people who did a phenomenal thing last night.  He says these people fired a shot against the bow of Raw.

The New Day make their way to the ring and we see what happened during the Raw Tag Title Match.

Kofi says they made them look silly.  He says he loves it here.  Kofi says it was not their intention to have Seth and Dean lose the tag titles, but such are the consequences of putting Raw under siege.  Xavier says that considering they are on the Raw roster, what will they do?  NOTHING

Big E says they led the siege and they looked the Raw roster in the eye and what did they do?  They beat them down.  They say they will accept the punishment, but they will be on the front line.

Shane says it was awesome what they did last night and then he joins in the New Day dance until . . .

Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn make their way to the stage.

Kevin says that was the stupidest and most painful thing he has seen in his life.

Sami says he hates to break it to Shane, but he is not cool.  You probably should never dance again.

Kofi says Sami is the last person who should talk about the way that people dance.  He says Sami looks like a fool.

Kevin says Shane has a hard time dealing with the fact that he beat Shane at Hell in a Cell, and now you are dealing with your daddy issues, but don't let Smackdown suffer through the consequences.

Sami says they could have appeared on Raw and taken care of the entire roster, but they are men of honor and they will not deal with the Shane propaganda machine.  They were made out to fail.

Shane says this is why they are not representing Smackdown.

Sami says he is not representing Smackdown because he was given a low blow and Shane did nothing about it.  If they had done it, they would have been fined or maybe fired.

Shane points out that Kevin lost to Shinsuke Nakamura.

Kevin says they should not need qualifying matches since they are the top two guys on the roster.  Does Shane want them to dance and sing in the ring like his New Day Puppets.

Kofi says the only puppet he sees is that 1930s paperboy looking, never been to a gym in his life Sami Zayn.  Big E says that Kevin says that his hand is so far up Sami's butt that when Sami brushes his teeth, Kevin gets a manicure.  Kofi and Xavier laugh at Big E's joke like it was the funniest thing ever.

Sami says it will be funny when Team Raw beats Team Smackdown and you have no one to blame but Shane McMahon.

Shane says that Kevin and Sami have no brand loyalty and you act entitled.  Sami, if you feel you are entitled, then you will be entitled to a match tonight against Kofi Kingston.

Shane says that match starts now.

We go to commercial.

We see footage from last week when Jinder Mahal attacked AJ Styles after Styles' match last week.

Jinder Mahal is with The Singhs and Renee Young asks Jinder about his match against Brock Lesnar and how this changes his mindset.  Jinder says he was eating with Manchester's elite and he told the server to call the first course AJ Styles because it was the prelude for the main course.  AJ has disrespected him time and time again.  He will dine on AJ Styles tonight and then at Survivor Series, he will feast on the Beast.

Aiden English is in the ring and he says he needs Manchester to be completely silent as he introduces Lion of Bulgaria who beat the Viper before and will beat Randy Orton once more.  He'll join Team Smackdown so Raw beware for at Survivor Series, they will declare it is RUSEV DAY.

We see James Ellsworth outside the locker room for the women and Tamina emerges.  James asks Tamina to get Carmella for her and he says please.

The door opens and Becky Lynch comes out.  James wants to know where Carmella is.  Becky tells James to worry about him.

James says that Becky won't win and he hopes that Becky doesn't get hurt.  He says the Women's Revolution is a farce.  He says that the people of Manchester know that men are superior.  He says he lets Carmella compete because it makes her happy.  James says he will prove that he is the better man.

Becky says those are some pretty ballsy statements, but it is shame he doesn't have any.

We go to commercial.
