WWE SMACKDOWN REPORT: DID RAW RESPOND?, WE HAVE A CAPTAIN, WE HAVE THE FIRST ON TEAM SMACKDOWN, WE HAVE TWO QUALIFYING MATCHES NEXT WEEK, FASHION DOGS, AND MORE

By Richard Trionfo on 2017-10-24 21:59:00

Tonight's show begins with a recap of the announcements of the matches for Survivor Series and the appearance of Shane McMahon and the Smackdown brand.

We are in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and your announcers are Michael Cole, Byron Saxton, and Corey Graves.

Shane McMahon comes out and he shuffles on the stage before making his way to the ring.

Shane says for the last two weeks he has been undergoing some physical rehab, but he is glad to be back and in charge. November 19th is fast approaching and it is the only time that Raw and Smackdown compete in head to head competition.  Shane says he learned at an early age, when you are going to get into a fight, you always strike first.  That is why some of the Smackdown roster paid a visit to Raw.

When Kurt Angle desperately called him and asked for an attraction for the demon.  He knew that not only would AJ compete at TLC, but he was going to stay for Raw because they knew what they were going to do.  Kurt should have known something was up when he arrived at Raw.  Then Kurt had the audacity to say that Smackdown was not as good as Raw.  Kurt did not know that the Smackdown roster was lying in wait and then the plan was unleashed.

Shane says that they are ready tonight.

Sami Zayn's music plays and he makes his way to the ring after dancing on the stage.

Sami says hello to Shane and then he says it is good to see him.  Sami says no hard feelings about Hell in a Cell, but Shane refuses to shake his hand and Shane says there were hard feelings.

Shane asks Sami about his own physical health after Sami pulled Kevin out of the way.  Shane says he could have been hurt and then to add insult to injury, you put Kevin Owens on top of him for the one, two, three.

Sami says Shane is out here as the commissioner of Smackdown, but if you were Shane McMahon 'the competitor', he would take out Shane in one second.  He would leave Shane hurting worse than he was after Hell in a Cell.  Sami says maybe that is for another day.  Sami says his good buddy and brother Kevin Owens, have mulled it over and they will be part of Smackdown at Survivor Series.  They will do what they do every night, they will put the burden on their shoulders and carry the brand.  Sami says Shane wants them to represent them at Survivor Series.  Sami says you need them to represent Smackdown at Survivor Series.  Sami says Shane is a lot of things, but he is not a stupid man, except when he takes one of his stupid death defying risks.

Sami says that he and Kevin have made themselves available for Smackdown.

Shane says he does not want them or need them to represent Smackdown at Survivor Series.  Shane says he will give Sami an opportunity.  All he has to do is beat his opponent.  Whoever wins is the first member on the team at Survivor Series.

Sami asks Shane if he will tell him his opponent.

Shane says that Sami will face Randy Orton.

We go to commercial with The New Day walking in the back and they see some 'Raw Fruit' and throw it away.

Tyler and Fandango say they have solved another case.

Konnor asks what did they solve.  They bring up 2B and how it is the Bludgeon Brothers.  Tyler says there is no B in brothers and then he says that it is silent.  Fandango says things are getting strangerer.  Tyler says like strangerer things.

Strangerer Things will debut next week.

We are back and Daniel Bryan is in his office and Shane enters.  Daniel asks when they are going to talk about what happened.  Shane says they wanted to send a message.  Daniel says they are supposed to be a team.  Daniel says that Shane is the boss, but he is here to give input because that is his job description.
