WWE RAW REPORT: TRIPLE THREAT MATCH, MIZTV WITH THE GM'S SON, A BIG MAIN EVENT, TAG TEAMS BATTLE, AND MORE

By Richard Trionfo on 2017-07-31 23:04:00

We are back and it is time for MizTV as Miz, Maryse, Curtis Axel, and Bo Dallas make their way to the ring.

Miz says he cannot describe how much he hates this city, but the show must go on.  He welcomes everyone and says that MizTV is about being Buzzworthy and nothing being more buzzworthy than Kurt Angle having an illegitimate child.

Miz brings out Jason Jordan.

Miz says that his story is like a movie of the week.

Miz interrupts Jason while he talks about it being emotional.  Miz asks about people booing Jason.

Jason says people are going to boo and cheer and do what they want.  Jason says that Miz is the expert on boos.

Miz says that some people are wondering about the opportunities that Jason is getting.  The comparisons to your father are uncanny.  Miz offers to guide Jason's career.  Miz says he is offering the opportunity of a lifetime to join the Miztourage.

Jason thanks Miz but he says he is good.

Miz says he has so much to offer.  He has starred in movies and main evented Wrestlemania.  When you main event Wrestlemania, you are bigger than anyone in the locker room.  There are vultures who will take advantage of your lineage.  Miz says that Jason needs his help.

Jason says it is a tempting offer but he says he will pass.

Miz says that Jason's dad can hand him what he wanted.

Jason says he did not ask for preferential treatment.  Anything he earns because he did it.

Miz says he does not care who Jason's father is because this business will chew you up and spit you out.

Jason says he would rather have that happen than be associated with Miz.

Miz says he has been a champion and Jason latches onto an Olympian every week.  Kurt is washed up and he begged to come back.  He has dealt with so many faitures and it is fitting he is from Pittsburgh.

Jason says you can say what you want about him, but if you say something else about Kurt, he will make Miz regret it.

Bo and Curtis stand between Jason and Miz and then MIz goes for a punch but misses.  Jason with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex onto Axel and Dallas.

Roman Reigns says tonight is about sending a message.  Braun and Joe have been trying to put him down.  No matter how hard they talk and try to take him down, he is still here.  Joe says he has his number, but if you take away the distractions, he is still standing.  He put down the Undertaker.  He is the only one who can take down Brock Lesnar.  He will show who he is tonight and at SummerSlam, he will walk out as the champion.

Seth Rollins walks into commercial.

Match Number Three:  Sheamus (with Cesaro) versus Seth Rollins

They lock up and Sheamus backs Rollins into the corner and Sheamus with a clean break.  Rollins with a hammer lock but Sheamus with an elbow and hip lock take down.  Sheamus with a shoulder tackle.  Sheamus catches Rollins but Rollins gets to his feet.  Rollins with a knee and kick followed by a thrust kick and drop kick.  Sheamus with an elbow followed by a head butt.  Rollins with a drop kick that sends Sheamus to the floor.  Rollins sees Cesaro on the floor and that distraction allows Sheamus to recover and he hits Rollins with a forearm.  Rollins is sent into the ringside barrier as we go to commercial.

We are back and Sheamus has Rollins on his shoulders on the turnbuckles and hits a Super Finlay Slam and gets a near fall.  Sheamus gets Rollins set for the forearms on the apron but Seth drops Sheamus on the top rope.  Sheamus catches Rollins on a springboard move and Sheamus hits a uranage back breaker and gets a near fall.  Sheamus with a running shoulder into the corner and then he goes up top and misses a clothesline.  Rollins with a flatline into the turnbuckles.  Rollins with chops and forearms.  Sheamus with a punch to Rollins but Seth with an enzuigiri to send Sheamus to the floor.

Rollins with a suicide dive.  Rollins with a flying clothesline followed by Slingblade.  Rollins goes up top and hits Cesaro on the apron.  Sheamus tries to take advantage but Rollins with a rollup for the three count.

Winner:  Seth Rollins

After the match, Cesaro attacks Rollins.  Rollins goes after Sheamus but Sheamus and Cesaro attack Rollins and hit a spike White Noise.

Dean Ambrose comes to the ring after Seth is attacked a second time.  Ambrose punches both men but Cesaro holds Ambrose for Sheamus.  Cesaro pulls Ambrose's shirt over his head and then Sheamus punches him.  Cesaro hits the Gotch Style Neutralizer.

Cesaro continues the attack on Ambrose and chokes him with his own shirt and Sheamus with a Brogue Kick.

Samoa Joe says Roman Reigns talked about everything he accomplished.  Joe says for twenty years he has put people to sleep to climb to the top in WWE.  Joe says he was within inches of the title.  Joe says no one has dominated Roman Reigns like him.  Roman is on a collision course for SummerSlam.  Braun stuck his nose in Joe's business so he is going to make Braun pay.  Joe does not care about Braun's resume because he is afraid of no one.   At SummerSlam, he makes history, tonight he makes a statement.  Someone is going to sleep.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Bray Wyatt makes his way to the ring.

Bray says there is no escape, not for your, not for your children, and certainly not for Finn Balor.  The truth is that no mortal man can escape the darkness.  Look at you, you are all held down by humanity's shackles.  You deal with the pain.  Look at you, you are pitiful.  You try to hide behind your sins and be something you are not.  You cannot hide from him because he sees you.  He is Bray Wyatt and he is everywhere.

Bray says he is there when the honest man justifies stealing.  He is in the shadows when you stand to claim that you are part of the Balor Club.  You think you can vicariously live through Finn Balor.  You are infected with the sickness of hope and the belief that your life can be special.  This ordinary man, Finn Balor, who you see do extraordinary things.  You foolishly rejoice when he rises through the ashes.

Bray says he sees Finn for who he is.  A putrid shell of a man who never was.  Finn Balor exists on borrowed time of tomorrow's dreams and yesterday's promises.  You speak with this voiceless arrogance.  If he is knocked down, he gets back up.

Bray starts to laugh.  How did it feel when he twisted your hero's body into a mangled heap?  Did it hurt?  When life knocks you down, you ain't getting up.  There is no return and there is no escape.

Bray poses in the ring and Finn Balor's lights and music play.

Finn shows up in the ring with his back to Bray.

Bray laughs at Finn and Bray walks around the ring and then Balor with a Pele Kick and a baseball slide to Bray on the floor.  Balor with a running drop kick that sends Bray over the ringside barrier into the crowd.

Braun Strowman says most men try to settle things on their phone behind a keyboard.  He settles things by breaking things and inflicting chaos.  He does what he wants when he wants to who he wants.  He wants to hurt Roman Reigns again.  What can Samoa Joe do to him?  He will reduce them to bruised flesh and broken bones so he can deal with Brock Lesnar on his own.  He will not only be the Monster Among Men, but the Champion Among Men.

We go to commercial.
