WWE RAW REPORT: TRIPLE THREAT MATCH, MIZTV WITH THE GM'S SON, A BIG MAIN EVENT, TAG TEAMS BATTLE, AND MORE

By Richard Trionfo on 2017-07-31 23:04:00

This week, we begin with a look at the announcement for the main event of SummerSlam.  Tonight, we will see the men not named Brock Lesnar who will be in that match in action.

We are in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and your announcers are Corey Graves, Michael Cole, and Booker T.

Kurt Angle makes his way to the ring.

Kurt welcomes everyone in his hometown to Raw.  Kurt guarantees an incredible show tonight.  Big Show will face Big Cass.  MizTV will have Kurt's son Jason Jordan as a guest.  The main event will feature Braun Strowman versus Roman Reigns versus Samoa Joe.

Kurt says he wants to address the WWE Universe.  Today is the 21st anniversary of when he won a gold medal.  He won a gold medal with a broken freakin' neck.  He says he would not be here if not for any of you.

Brock Lesnar's music plays and he makes his way to the stage with Paul Heyman.  Brock does the Brock Bounce and walks to the ring.

Paul says he knows what Kurt is doing.  He sees the scam.  He knows the angle that Kurt is playing.  He needs to take the Universal Title off Brock Lesnar.  Why else would you put his client in a Fatal Four Way at SummerSlam.  It is against the most stacked heavyweight division in history.  First, you have Braun Strowman.  The size, speed, and strength of this man.  Any other time, he would be the Universal Champion.

Then you have the Undertaker slaying Roman Reigns.  He was born and bred to be champion.  Roman was groomed to be champion.

Then there is that Samoan disgrace.  Paul says he hopes the new champion at SummerSlam is Samoa Joe.  That would stick it to Brock.

Paul says he gets why Kurt is doing this and he admires Kurt.  You have a Board of Directors to speak to.  You have a chairman who is demanding that you take the title off Brock Lesnar.  Paul says he knows that all three are going to gang up on Brock and then fight it out amongst themselves to determine the new champion.  Paul says that Brock doesn't even have to be pinned or forced to submit to lose the title.  Let's rename the show SummerSlam 2017:  The Night Brock Lesnar Loses the Title.

You have been told to make Brock pay the ultimate price.  If Brock Lesnar loses the Universal title at SummerSlam, Brock leaves WWE and so does Paul Heyman.  Paul says that his client will not lose his title at SummerSlam.  Not to the unstoppable Braun Strowman.  Not to the Undertaker Retiring Roman Reigns.  Not to the cheap shot artist Samoa Joe.  There will be an announcement at the end of SummerSlam.  It will be Ladies and Gentlemen, your winner and reigning and defending Universal Champion Brock Lesnar.

We go to commercial with the Hardys walking in the back.

We are back and Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder are at the announce table for commentary.

Cesaro says maybe they can use some of their championship clout to get Seth a show on the WWE Network like Ride Alone.

Seth says if you came to pick a fight, let's fight.  That is a challenge.  You figure out which one faces him tonight.

Sheamus accepts the challenge.
