Time for Naomi vs. Lana for the WWE Smackdown Women's champion.  I am very curious to see how this goes.  I don't think a lot of people are expecting a lot from Lana as an in-ring competitor, so if she can overachieve here, she will be turning heads.

Naomi quickly tossed Lana in the corner and worked her over with punches and kicks.  Lana yanked her hair and slammed her to the mat. Naomi returned that shot and drilled her with a forearm, then ran her into the turnbuckles.  Lana ducked a cross bodyblock off the ropes and Lana scored a two count.  Lana snapped her knee across the top rope when Naomi went for a kick.

Naomi went to the floor and Lana, well, tossed her back in.  She scored a few two counts and cinched in an armbar.  Not strong early on.  Lana choked her against the ropes.  This is the first match thus far well you can feel the crowd interest dying the longer the match went on.   She began trying for a knee submission but Naomi turned it into an armbar submission.

Naomi made a comeback and hit two kicks to the head.  Naomi called for the Rear View but Lana kicked at her leg.  Lana was nailed with it anyway and scored a two count.  This is way too long.    Lana nailed her sitout spinebuster finisher but Naomi kicked out.

Carmella's music hit and she came to the ring with an official and James Ellsworth.  She teased cashing in but then changed her mind and walked off.    That was pretty funny.   Naomi hit a sunset flip and turned into a submission to score the win.

Your winner, Naomi!

Carmella remained at ringside and showed off her briefcase before walking off.

Swing and a miss on this one.

They aired a "Fashion Vice" segment.  The opening was pretty much the old "Fuji Vice" opening.  They did a lot of silly 80s references.  They were challenged to meet the people that trashed their office in the ring tonight.   It looked like it was The Ascension hidden in the shadows.   Don Muraco and Mr. Fuji would have figured this all out by now.   At one point, they had a giant 1980s cell phone that had "property of Paul E." taped to it.

Music played and hearts appeared in the aisle.  Out came Mike Bennett and Maria Kanellis-Bennett. They announced they were Maria and Mike Kanellis.  She said she was the first lady and she was back.  She said they were here to show everyone the power of love as she's been gone for seven years looking for the right partner.  Mike said she found it in him.  They said they were coming to Smackdown.  It was a good introductory segment.

They showed Greg Gagne, Baron Von Rashke, Larry Hennig, Sgt. Slaughter, Ric Flair and Bob Orton, billed at St. Louis legends.   They noted that Harley Race was supposed to appear as well but couldn't make it due to his recent leg injuries.  We noted earlier this week in the Elite section that Race had an open invite if he could make it.
