CODY VS. CAGE, LAX INVASION, BWO REUNITES, RYBACK VS. CABANA, DREAMER, SONJAY AND MORE: WRESTLEPRO IN ORLANDO, FLORIDA COVERAGE

By Mike Johnson on 2017-03-31 00:10:00

Welcome to PWInsider.com's live, ongoing coverage of WrestlePro in Orlando, Florida at the Wyndham Resort Hotel.

Fallah Bah vs. Jeff Cobb

Very early on, it was these two powerhouses testing each other.  Bah kept telling Cobb "No No No" after he was unable to move him.  Bah took him down with a big shoulderblock.    Bah took control and worked over Cobb, including choking him against the mat.  The referee counted against him for choking to which Bah responded, "I don't speak English."

Bah took control and nailed several stiff chops but was dropkicked in the face as he charged Cobb.  Cobb nailed a series of clotheslines but still couldn't take Bah down.  He finally scored the big one with a flying clotheslines off the ropes.  He then picked up and Olympic slammed Bah, which was quite the feat.  Cobb went to come off the ropes but was caught in mid-air with a Samoan Drop.

Bah went for a Banzai Drop off the corner but Cobb moved.  Bah nailed a sunset flip but Bah held on and then tried to drop down for an Earthquake splash.  Cobb moved and Bah hit the mat.  Cobb used a backslide to score the win.

Your winner, Jeff Cobb!

Bah offered his hand in respect but Cobb said no, and instead embraced Bah.

Short but entertaining match.  They were both very vocal and played to the crowd well and did nice job building up all the power spots.  Enjoyable.

The Taboo Crew vs. Team Espana vs. Apple Core

Short but solid match with Taboo Crew scoring the win.

Swoggle vs. Grado

Well, this is an interesting one!  I popped huge that I finally got to see Grado's full "Like A Prayer" entrance live.

Swoggled faked out a charging Grado, who went through the ropes to the floor.  Swoggle dove off the apron and took Grado out, then whipped him into the guard rails several times.  Swoggle began whipping out German suplexes as the fans chanted "Suplex city."  This is tremendous.  Grado grabbed the ropes but even that couldn't save him.

Swoggle went for a powerbomb but couldn't get him up.  Grado freed himself and said, "I've had enough of this sh**!" and went about clubbering Swoggle.  Super funny and entertaining.  Grado pulled down the tights and ran at Swoggle with his belly, wiping him out for a two count.  He nailed a chokeslam on Swoggle but only garnered a two count.

Grado mossed a move and Swoggle went to the top but was caught and nailed with a right hand.  Swoggle knocked him off and came off with the Tadpole Splash for the pin.

Your winner, Swoggle!

Just awesomely funny and entertaining stuff.

The BWO: Stevie Richards & Blue Meanie & Hollywood Nova vs. Team WrestlePro: Kevin Matthews & Pat Buck & Mario Bokara

Some fun schenanigans early.  Matthews said, "F*** the BWO" so Stevie asked if he just said he wanted to "f*** them?" and then said that they really weren't interested but would kick their asses.  Nova got worked over early.  Meanie tagged in and worked over Buck.   Buck was sent to the floor, where Nova followed.  Stevie teased a dive but instead stopped, went to the apron and came off with an axehandle.  Matthews hit a flip dive to the floor.  Meanie teased a dive but everyone saw him coming and ran for their lives.

Back in the ring, Bokara worked over Meanie's arm.  Team WrestlePro worked over Meanie, tagging in and out.  Matthews cinched in a rear chinlock, wearing Da Blue Guy down.  Meanie finally cut off Buck and nailed a hangman's necknreaker.  Stevie got the hot tag and cleaned house with right hands.  He nailed a sideslam on Buck but was attacked by the others.  The BWO made the save and everyone battled.

Meanie worked over Bokara in the ring while the others battled on the floor.  Stevie went for a Steviekick on Bokara, but it was caught.  Bokara worked him over but was finally caught with the Steviekick for the pin.

Your winners, the BWO!

Entertaining tag.

Stevie took the mic after and said that 21 years later, the BWO is still taking over...and then said, "Thank God, Kevin Matthews didn't f*** me!"
