HARDY VS. DREAMER CAGE MATCH AND MORE: COMPLETE HOUSE OF HARDCORE 22 COVERAGE FROM PHILADELPHIA

By Mike Johnson on 2016-12-16 23:38:00

Vik Dalishus & Eddie Kingston & TJ Marconi  vs. Dan Barry & two mystery partners: If Team Barry loses, they are all banned from HOH.

Barry's partners are Kikutaro and Conor Braxton, again coming out out on a hoverboard.    Braxton used the board to shoulderblock Kingston and Vik down.  Marconi and Kikutaro did some really funny slow motion spots.   It led to everyone getting involved.    They finally got up to speed again (get it?) as Team Barry controlled Marconi.

Marconi worked over Kikutaro and tagged out to Kingston, who continued the carnage.  Team Vik all tagged in and out working over Kikutaro.  They battle continued until the referee was accidentally struck by a spinning backfist from Eddie Kingston.  Dan Barry ran it and tagged himself in.  The crowd came alive for this.  He cleaned house and hit a big flip dive to the outside on everyone.

Team Tremendous hit their finish and Barry scored the pin.

Your winners, Dan Barry, Kikutaro and Conor Braxton.

The comedy stuff got really over live but wouldn't translate well for coverage.  Crowd was really happy with the surprise Bill Carr appearance.

Moose vs. Colt Cabana

They went back and forth.  Moose tried to do a kip up.  He failed.  Cabana tried one and with the assistance of the referee, did it.   They finally locked up and went for a test of strength.  Moose obviously got the better of this early.   Cabana slipped back and went to the mat and elevated Moose with his legs then let go and scissored him.  Moose broke free and worked over Cabana in the corner.  Cabana reversed and nailed a series of chops in the corner.  Moose chopped him down and worked over his arm.

Cabana sent Moose into the ropes but was shoulderblocked down.  Moose went for a dive but stopped on the apron.  Cabana swept his legs.  Cabana stomped and choked him down on the apron.   Cabana nailed a moonsault off the top but Moose moved out of the way.  Moose went to the top but missed a moonsault as well.  Cabana slipped on a side chinlock.  Moose fought his way to his feet and elbowed his way out.

Moose nailed a springboard bodypress and nailed a powerbomb for a two count.  They battled on the top rope.  Moose tried a superplex but was shoved off.  Cabana came off the ropes, landed on his feet and hit a splash for a two count.  Cabana worked over Moose, who made a comeback.  Colt ducked and nailed a series of clubbering shots.  Cabana came off the middle rope with a dropkick.

Moose finally nailed a discus clothesline and got the pin.

Your winner, Moose!

 Brian Cage vs. Sami Callihan

They had a pretty hard hitting back and forth match.  They brawled on the floor.  Lots outside my sight line Callihan was powerbombed on the apron.  Lots of reversals,  Cage nailed him with a face first Electric Chair drop.  Callihan reversed a pinfall attempt into a stuff muffler and forced a submission.  Lots of good back and forth stuff here.  The crowd loved it.

Your winner, Sami Callihan!

Fenix vs. John Morrison/Mundo/Hennigan

They faced off and exchanged holds then faced off several times.  Mundo tried to walk the ropes but crotched himself.   There was some nice back and forth wrestling with Morrison getting the best of the exchange.  Morrison flipped off Felix.  He grabbed a side headlock but was sent into the ropes.   Fenix came back with a head scissors takedown that sent Mundo to the outside.  Fenix went for a dive but was cut off and dropkicked.  He finally sent Mundo to the floor and hit a big flip dive to the outside.

Fenix went for a 450 but landed on his feet.  Mundo hit a slingshot DDT for a two count.  Mundo nailed a neckbreaker. Fenix was drilled into the corner and beaten with shots to the mid-section.  Morrison nailed some kicks and a kneelift.  He went for a springboard but slipped.  The crowd was all over him for that.   Fenix nailed a somersault into a cutter for a two count.

Fenix unloaded with some really nice kicks and strikes.  He drove Mundo into the buckles and nailed a double springboard into a rana rollup for a two count. Morrison came back with a standing Spanish Fly.  They battled back and forth until Mundo nailed Starship Pain for the pin.

Your winner, John Hennigan/etc.etc. etc.

Good back and forth competitive match.

They are going to set up the cage now.  The crowd has absolutely been waiting for this one.  We will be back!

They announced a 4/22/17 return to the 2300 Arena.  There will be a convention in the afternoon with Ric Flair, Ricky Steamboat, Kevin Nash and Scott Hall announced for the convention.   Tickets went on sale at intermission and will be on sale online shortly.
