Baron Corbin vs. Kalisto - Chairs Matches.

Kalisto tossed a few chairs into the ring before the bell.  Kalisto tossed a chair at Corbin and kicked at it.  Baron nailed him and set up a chair in a sitting position.  He teased a powerbomb but Kalisto nailed a sunset flip maneuver to escape and sent Corbin into the chair.  He dropkicked Corbin in the chair, sending him to the floor.  Kalisto hit a dive to the floor.

Back in the ring, Corbin nailed Kalisto and sent him to the floor.  He rammed him back and forth against the apron and the barricade, manhandling him by the mask.  He throttled Kalisto into chairs that were set up at ringside.   Corbin tossed him back into the ring and nailed a big right before covering Kalisto for a two count.

He worked over Kalisto.  He set up a group of chairs facing each other in the center of the ring.  Corbin went to send him into a chair was was wedged in the corner.  Kalisto slipped away and sent Corbin into the chair head-first.    Kalisto went to the top and hit a seated senton through the chairs on Corbin for a two count.

Kalisto went to nail a dive to the outside on Corbin but was caught and hit with the Deep Six on the floor.  Corbin beat the hell out of Kalisto and then began angrily slamming chairs down in a pile.  He's showing some really good angry traits here.  Kalisto went to the floor.  Corbin stalked him with a chair.  Corbin missed him and nailed the announcing table and the barricade.  Kalisto finally nailed a kick, sending him into the ring steps.  Kalisto nailed a rana off the barricade to the floor.  He nailed Corbin by tossing a chair at him, then dropkicked him into the barricade.  Really explosive babyface comeback.

Kalisto nailed a springboard legdrop.  He nailed a moonsault, driving his knees down onto Corbin, who had a chair laid out across his chest.  Kalisto grabbed at his legs but recovered to make a two count.  Kalisto began unloading with a chair like it was a Louisville Slugger over and over on the big man.   Kalisto went for the Salida de Sol but was shoved off.  He kicked Corbin and went to the top but when he leapt off, Corbin smashed him in the face with the chair.

Corbin nailed End of Days on a pile of chairs and scored the pin.

Your winner, Baron Corbin!

The stipulation really helped both men here and this was probably their best singles performances to date in the company.  This was a really good match that saw Corbin finally look like the monster everyone has been waiting for him to be and in doing so, allowed Kalisto to be in the position to show real fire in his comebacks and come off like a sympathetic babyface.  I felt like Corbin finally began hitting his potential here.

After the match, Corbin ripped the top off the announcers' table and screamed at Mauro Ranallo that what just happened would happen to everyone who fought him - End of Days.  Good stuff.

Backstage, Natalya was asked about the accusations she attacked Bella.   She ignored them and wished Becky Lynch luck.  She then denied the allegations, saying Carmella was a liar.

Tables Match: WWE Smackdown Women's champion Becky Lynch vs. Alexa Bliss

Really nice reaction to Lynch coming out.   Lynch went right after her and took her down.  Lynch tossed her into the barricade and nailed a nice running clothesline.   Lynch set up for a powerbomb onto the announcers' table but Bliss fought her way out and kicked Lynch in the side of the head.  Lynch swept her legs and knocked her down on the outside of the ring.

Back in the ring, Lynch locked in a front facelock and snapped her over with a suplex.  Mauro Ranallo whipped out a Dynamite Kid reference.  Lynch set up a table on the outside of the ring but took a long time to do it, giving Alexa a chance to recover.  They battled near the ropes.  Lynch teased a suplex to the outside but Bliss drilled her in the back to escape.  Bliss tried to knock her off the apron but the champ used the ropes to save herself.  Bliss worked over Lynch in the corner.  Bliss actually bit Lynch's fingers to prevent her from sending her off the apron through a table.

Riley drilled Lynch's head into the mat with stomps.  Bliss pulled a table from under the ring.  It was set up in the ring.  Bliss looked vicious as she worked over Lynch and placed her atop the table.  Bliss went up for what I assume would have been the Sparkle Splash but Lynch attacked her on the top and set up for a superplex attempt.  Bliss knocked her off the top and Lynch put the table on its side.   Lynch attempted to slam Bliss on the table, which was still on its side, but Bliss broke free and nailed Lynch.  She told the champion she was pathetic and placed the table in the corner.

Bliss tried to put Lynch through it but Becky fired up and nailed a series of clotheslines.  She tried to send Bliss through the table but Bliss avoided.  She went for a head and arms Tazplex but Bliss avoided.  Bliss' luck continued as she was able to ward off a sunset flip attempt into the table and drove down with two knees to the sternum.

Becky picked up Bliss to put her through the table but Bliss, on her shoulders, flipped it over.  Bliss then DDT'd Lynch into the overturned table.  The crowd began dueling chants for the competitors.  Lynch locked on the Disarmher through the table leg.  Lynch nailed a pumphandle slam.  Lynch bridged a table across the lowest turnbuckles and placed Bliss across the table.  Bliss was able to take her down and stop the move, then hit a big dropkick.

Lynch was whipped into the corner but reversed it and Bliss smashed into the table.   The battle went to the apron, where Bliss was knocked down to the floor.  She slipped under Lynch and powerbombed her through the table to the floor.

Your winner and new WWE Smackdown Women's champion, Alexa Bliss!

They worked hard and it was a solid brawl.  Bit of a shock here, but one can't deny Bliss has been excellent all around since being brought up.

After the match, Becky was asked about her loss.  She said she didn't appreciate a microphone being in her face.  She said she's not mad at the interviewer, but at herself for letting herself down and walked off, upset.  Good babyface promo.
