Brian Myers vs. Tony Nese vs. Brian Cage

Cage nailed Nese and then clotheslined Myers out of the ring.  Nese sent Cage to the outside and then hit a running backwards flip over the top to the floor on them.  He nailed a splash into the ring on Cage for a two count.  Myers came off the ropes with an elbow for a two count as well.

Nese nailed a double jump into a rana.  Myers cut him off with a slam.   Lots of good back and forth wrestling.  Nese was sent to the floor.  Cage beat down Myers and locked in a rear chinlock.    Myers fought his way out but was nailed with a dropkick. Nese returned to the scene and nailed a nice moonsault.  Cage charged him in the corner but Nese kicked him off.  Cage went for a suplex but Nese slipped out and nailed a double stomp for a two count.

Cage caught him with a big reverse slam for a two count.  Myers nailed a series of superkicks.  Cage came back to nail a Fall Away Slam on both at the same time.  Myers nailed Cage out of nowhere with a spear and pinned him.  Nese came off the ropes with a 450 splash and pinned Myers.

GREAT match with far too much going on to recap.  This was a lot of fun!

Your winners, Tony Nese!

Sami Callihan vs. Billy Gunn

This was billed as Teacher vs. Student since Callihan trained under Gunn in NXT.  Gunn got a pretty nice reaction coming out.  He took the mic and said House of Hardcore was awesome.  He went to do his mic work but Callihan took the mic.  The crowd booed.  Callihan said Gunn was his Coach for the last three years and he'll only get to do this once with Billy.  He said, "If you ain't down with that, I got two words for you" and kicked Gunn in the face.

Callihan worked over Gunn, who came back with a big clothesline that sent him to the floor.  Gunn worked him over on the floor.  Callihan caught him with a kick as Gunn returned to the apron and nailed a dive to the floor on him.     They brawled up the aisle and around ringside.  When they returned to ringside, Callihan was sent into the ringpost.

Callihan came back but Gunn cut him off and went for the Famouser.  He came off the ropes to rebound and hit it but was caught with a forearm smash.   Gunn nailed a big slam to cut him off.  Gunn missed a charge in the corner and was nailed with an enziguiri.    Callihan drilled him with a big boot for a two count.  Gunn nailed the Famouser but only got a one count.  He nailed it again and scored the pin.

Your winner, Billy Gunn!

Pretty damn good match.  Gunn worked pretty hard here and gave Callihan a nice, competitve match.  Callihan looked really smooth and worked really hard.

Eddie Kingston vs. Bull James

James had some cool new ring gear.   Some woman had a sign for him and he went out to the crowd and kissed her.  I was later told this was the same woman who had a really raunchy sign for Finn Balor at NXT in NYC - a photo of which made the rounds online.  The crowd popped huge for the kiss.

Kingston nailed Dempsey and ripped up her sign.  He brought Dempsey back to the ring and worked him over.   Dempsey threw Kingston out of the ring and avoided a charge when he returned.  They went back and forth.  James scored the pin with the Doink Drop.

Your winner, Bull James!

Good, solid match.
