REPOST FROM 2016: AFTER ALMOST FIVE HOURS (ACTUALLY SEVEN) WE HAVE A WINNER IN THE MAIN EVENT, THE FANS LOVE ROMAN REIGNS (YOU KNEW I WASN'T SERIOUS), THE ROCK WRESTLES, MANIA 33 WILL BE IN APRIL NEXT YEAR, BARON CORBIN DEBUTS AND THEY BOOKED HIM RIGHT, WE NOW KNOW WHO CONTROLS RAW, FIRST WOMEN'S CHAMPION IS, DEAN VS. BROCK PRODUCES A FAMILIAR RESULT, WE NOW KNOW HOW THEY WILL USE AUSTIN, FOLEY AND HBK, NEW DAY VS. THE LEAGUE, WHAT WAS UP WITH THE END OF AJ-Y2J, HOLY HELL THE LADDER MATCH WAS NUTS, DUDLEYS VS. USOS, WE HAVE A NEW WOMEN'S TITLE, TEN DIVA ACTION, KALISTO DEFENDS AGAINST RYBACK - FUL WRESTLEMANIA 32 BLOG

With a lot of empty seats (see my earlier story about the entrance process to the stadium, at around 2:50 PT they had Kalisto defend The US Title against Ryback.  The story of the match early on was that Ryback is a big, strong monster and he dominated the champion.  A few minutes in, they went to a commercial showing the Shane-Vince angle.  Wow, on WrestleMania.  Look at the bright side people that are missing the match live, we are missing part of it too.

When they came back, Ryback was still in control.  Every time Kalisto would try and come back, Ryback took him out again. Ryback said it was time for a Wrestlemania moment.  He went to the second rope to suplerplex the champ.  He held him for a good 15 seconds, which allowed Kalisto to roll through.  But Ryback recovered.  Kalisto then hit a DDT out of nowhere and did a headscissors where he smashed Ryback face first onto the mat.  Kalisto got another two after a corkscrew and threw some kicks.  Ryback caught him and did a spinebuster.

He said that's it little guy but he was wrong.  Salida Del Sol and Kalisto retains.  Fine match for what it was.  There are still a lot of empty seats in the building.  We only have an hour to go.

The ten divas match will take place on the USA Network.  So will The Usos vs. The Dudley Boyz.

For those curious, the WWE Network is also airing the second hour of the pre-game too.

Ten diva action started almost immediately and featured a lot of good action.  Lana's first appearance saw her hit a big kick and then exited.  

The first big spot saw Paige set up all of the heels on the floor except Lana and splash them.  But the heels came back and went to work on Paige.  Paige came back on Emma and tagged in Brie, who got the biggest pop thus far.  He had Naomi pinned when Lana came in and broke it up.  Eva Marie came in and got booed, hard.  Then she got kicked and the crowd cheered.  The action was really good and non-stop.  Brie went into Brie Mode but ran into a Naomi kick instead.  Naomi went for the Brie went up to the top but Lana pushed her off before she could fly.  Naomi grabbed her hair but Brie reversed it and put the Yes Lock on Naomi and made her tap.  Overall, a good fun match.

As Team Total Divas were celebrating, out came Nikki Bella to celebrate.  Nikki was wearing her neck brace.  At least she got to appear on the show.  Good for her.

We were sent down to the ring, where Lita was standing in the ring with something under a cover (New Women's Title belt).  Lita talked about al of the great women that came before her, and her best friend Trish Stratus.  These women paved the way for the current women of WWE.  She talked about the Divas match.  Charlotte got booed.  Becky got a pop.  Sasha got a big pop.

Lita said that they are not WWE Divas in the ring, they are WWE Superstars.  She said that it is her pleasure to say that the winner of the match later will be the first WWE Women's Champion and she unveiled the belt, which is really nice, which you can see below.

The Usos vs. Dudley Boyz was up next.  The Usos started strongly but the Dudleys quickly turned the tide and took control.  Bubba then tried to pay tribute to Stan Hansen but got kicked instead.  The Usos couldn't keep control but still managed come back and score the pin.  The Dudleys laid the Usos out and then decided they wanted to get the tablers.  They got them from under the ring and put them in the ring.  The fans popped as they want to see the table spot.

They went to pick up the Usos but got nailed with Superkicks instead.  They laid the Dudleys on the tables and the fans were booing loudly.  The Usos went to the top rope and splashed the Dudleys through the tables.  The fans popped for that.

The announcers are on their way to the ring.  Michael Cole got some boos.  JBL got a ton of cheers.  We are about to go live.  Here it is., WRESTLEMANIA 32!
