By Stuart Carapola on 2016-11-20 22:05:00

It's time for the main show to start, but looks like someone jumped Nikki Bella backstage and she won't be able to compete tonight.  Coach Natalya, who happens to be wearing her wrestling gear, comes to check on her, and it looks like she's going to sub for her.  So let's get this started...

Women's Elimination Match: Team Raw (Charlotte, Alicia Fox, Bayley, Sasha Banks, and Nia Jax) vs Team Smackdown (Becky Lynch, Natalya, Carmella, Alexa Bliss, and Naomi)

Alicia Fox and Carmella start us off, and Fox shoves Carmella on her ass, then connects with a dropkick and a northern lights suplex for 2.  Carmella counters to a flying headscissors and hits a bronco buster for 2.  Becky and Bayley tag in, but then Charlotte tags herself in...and then Sasha tags herself in.  Carhlotte and Sasha get in a shoving match nad Bayley tries to break it up.  Becky takes a shot at Charlotte, and all ten girls run in and go at it.  Nia Jax shoves the entire Smackdown team on their butts and then casually steps out of the ring.  We're back to Becky and Sasha, and they have a quick exchange before Charlotte tags in and it's back to the champs.  Becky gets a series of rollups on Charlotte, and she goes for the Disarmer, but Charlotte scurries to the ropes and tags Nia Jax in.  Becky shows no fear, but Nia picks her up and rams her into the corner, then floors her with a headbutt.  Carmella tags in and immediately gets dropped by Nia, who tells her to tag another one in.  Alexa comes in and does no better, then Naomi comes off the second rope and gets caught by Nia, who drops her as well.  Now Natalya tags in and gets a side headlock, Carmella blind tags in and she and Natalya try a double shoulderblock, but Nia bounces off the ropes and takes them both out with a double clothesline.  Fox is back in and going at it with Carmella, who Beells her across the ring, but misses another bronco buster.  Fox rams her face into the corner over and over, then hits the axe kick for 3.

Carmella is eliminated.

Alexa Bliss comes in and blindsides Fox and then comes off the top rope with her twisting splash for another pin.

Alicia Fox is eliminated.

Now Charlotte is in and going at it with Naomi, who hits a sitout jawbreaker.  Nia tags in, but Naomi knocks her to the floor before she comes in, then comes off the top rope and takes Jax out with a dive.  Namioi goes back on the apron, and Jax rams her into the ringpost and then slams her to the floor where she gets knocked out and then counted out.

Naomi is eliminated.

Sasha is in and taking on both Alexa and Natalya by herself, and Natalya gets a small package for 2, then a schoolgirl rollup for 3.

Sasha Banks is eliminated.

We're down to 3-on-3 and Natalya is trading chops with Charlotte, then Natalya turns Charlotte inside out withe a release German suplex.  Charlotte yanks Natalya down by the hair, then she goes to the top for a moonsault, but Natalya carries her out and hits a sitout powerbomb.  Jax breaks the pinfall at 2, then Natalya gets the Sharpshooter and Charlotte makes the ropes.  Charlotte is up and drills Natalya with a big boot for the pinfall.

Natalya is eliminated.

Becky and Alexa are arguing and get into a shoving match, they duck a double clothesline from Jax and try a double suplex, but Jax double suplexes them instead.  Becky tags in and dropkicks off the top rope and makes a cover for 2, then she gets Jax in the Disarmer and Jax taps.  Wow!

Nia Jax is eliminated.

That was big, but Jax drags Becky out of the ring and rams her into the barricade, then dumps her back in the ring.  Alexa tags in and eats a big boot from Charlotte for 3.

Alexa Bliss is eliminated.

Becky is on her own now against both Bayley and Charlotte, and she's in a bad way here, but she fires back with a series of clotheslines on Charlotte and a leg lariat.  Becky with a t-bone suplex and then she goes to the top rope for an Alabama Jam, but Bayley barely breaks the fall up at 2.  Bayley tags in and takes Becky down with a jackknife rol;up for 2, then they trade forearms until Becky gets a pump handle suplex for 2.  Becky with a series of short legdrops and elbowdrops, but Bayley dodges one and hits a diving clothesline and elbow for 2.  Becky goes for the Disarmer, Bayley holds the ropes, and she hits the Bayley to Belly for the win.

Winners: Team Raw

Survivors: Charlotte & Bayley

Charlotte comes in and beats the pee pee out of Bayley, then dumps her out to the floor and rams her into the barricade, and Bayley took a HECK of a bump there.  Charlotte does it again, and casually walks out and leaves Bayley laying in the aisle.

James Ellsworth is backstage looking around like he's on vacation, and he runs into the Club, who call him Jimmy No-Chin.  They said he's living like a real-life Chinderella, but he's chin it to win it, and he even pinned their old friend AJ Styles.  Mick Foley comes in and tells them to knock it off and asks if they'd like it if he made fun of them for being bald.  The Club leaves, and James Ellsworth marks out over all the great stuff from Mick's career: when the Undertaker tossed him off the cage, when Edge speared him through the flaming table...Mick asks him if he has any memories of him not being in great discomfort, then after Ellsworth brings up his title victories over the Rock, Foley asks him if he'd want to be on Raw.  Ellsworth sas he's Team Blue, and Foley says he might change his tune on that after what happens tonight.  Foley leaves, Ellsworth turns around and finds himself face-to-chest with Braun Strowman, who says, "Don't I know you?" Ellsworth takes off, and Strowman smiles at him.

Intercontinental Title Match: The Miz vs Sami Zayn

Basic feeling out process to start, and Zayn gets an early advantage with a series of rollups.  Miz takes a breather out on the floor, but Zayn goes out after him and moonsaults off the barricade onto Miz.  Maryse gets right up in Zayn's face, distracting him long enough to allow Miz to clip his knee from behind.  They go back into the ring where Miz starts dropping elbows on the knee and gives Zayn a kneeDT.  Zayn gets a bit of offense, but Miz goes to Daniel Bryans old standby, the surfboard, and stomps on Zayn's knees.  Zayn ducks a charge and sends Miz sailing out to the floor, but Miz drags Zayn to thecorner and rams his knee into the ringpost.  Zayn tries firing back, but Miz pounds him back down and kicks him in the knee to drop him.  Miz fools around too much and runs into a big clothesline from Zayn, then Zayn dumps Miz to the floor and takes him out with a somersault dive.  They go back in and Zayn hits a Michinoku Driver for 2.  Miz takes Zayn down and goes for a figure four, but Zayn reverses to a small package for 2.  Miz mocks the YES YES pose and hits a series of dropkicks in the corner, but Zayn hits a blue thunder bomb out of nowhere for 2.  Miz goes for the Skull Crushing Finale, Zayn counters to a victory roll for 2, then gives Miz an exploder suplex into the corner.  Zayn goes for the Yakuza kick in the corner, Miz dodges and Zayn drills his bad leg into the turnbuckle, and Miz goes to the figure four.  Zayn fights and fights, and finally manages to reverse the hold, but Miz goes right to the ropes.  Zayn suddenly gets the figure four out of nowhere, and Miz is in deep trouble, but Maryse goes over and rings the bell to make Zayn think he won.  Of course the match isn't over, so Zayn releases the hold and Miz rolls Zayn up for the cheap win.

Winner: The Miz

Excellent match, Miz is really underrated and has been doing some great work.  Zayn is awesome as always.
Dean Ambrose is watching the monitor, and AJ Styles walks in and tells him that if everyone just follows him, they'll get a win.  Dean says he knows AJ is just going to slam a metal chair into his back, but in two weeks at TLC, his fantasies become AJ's nightmare.  Shane McMahon comes in and says they can settle this in two weeks, but they need a win tonight and he needs everyone on the same page.

We're on to our next elimination match on Page 3!
