RING OF HONOR TELEVISION REPORT: TAG TITLE MATCH, TOP PROSPECT TOURNAMENT CONTINUES, AND MORE

We are in Concord, North Carolina and your announcers are Nigel McGuinness and Kevin Kelly.

Chris Sabin joins Kevin and Nigel at the announce table for the opening match.

Match Number One: Frankie Kazarian (with Chris Sabin) versus Alex Shelley

Frankie and Sabin discuss something before locking up. Sabin goes to the turnbuckles for no reason and that allows Kazarian to hit Shelley from behind. Kazarian with kicks to Shelley. Shelley with forearms and a chop. Shelley with a side head lock and shoulder tackle. Shelley sends Kazarian to the floor and then he sets for a dive to the floor but Kazarian gets back into the ring as Shelley goes to the floor. Kazarian goes for a suicide dive but Shelley with a round kick on the apron.

Shelley goes up top for a missile side kick. Shelley runs into a boot but Shelley blocks the kick and he puts the leg in the rope and kicks the thigh. Shelley with a dragon screw leg whip to the other leg and Kazarian goes down in the corner. Shelley taunts Kazarian while he holds the leg and Kazarian misses an enzuigiri. Shelley with a kick. Kazarian with a short punch to the face.

Kazarian goes to the apron when Shelley charges into the corner. Kazarian grabs Shelley by the hair while on the apron and the referee warns him. Kazarian pulls the referee in the way when Shelley charges at him. Kazarian with a punch and slingshot DDT.

We go to commercial.

We are back and the referee pushes Kazarian away and he falls over Shelley and Shelley gets a near fall. Kazarian kicks Shelley and yells at the referee. Kazarian chokes Shelley in the ropes. Kazarian goes to the floor and he punches Shelley in the face. Shelley with a sunset flip but Kazarian rolls through and applies a leg submission but Shelley slaps Kazarian.

Shelley trips Kazarian as he goes to the floor. Shelley tries for a shoulder but Kazarian moves and hits a springboard corkscrew leg drop for a near fall. While this was taking place, Steve Corino appeared on the phone and he says that he will deal with BJ Whitmer next week.

Kazarian with a slam and he goes up top for a leg drop but Shelley moves and Kazarian lands hard on his tailbone. Shelley with forearms and punches followed by a chop. Kazarian with an Irish whip but Shelley gets his feet up. Shelley clotheslines Kazarian over the top rope to the floor. Kazarian is enveloped in streamers from under the ring. Shelley goes to the apron and Kazarian tries to trip him but Shelley jumps over Kazarian. Shelley with a knee off the apron.

Shelley goes up top and hits a cross body but Kazarian floats over and gets a near fall. Kazarian with a float over into a swinging neck breaker for a near fall. Shelley with elbows and forearms but Kazarian with an elbow. Shelley comes off the turnbuckles and Kazarian with a cutter and a flatline DDT for a near fall. Shelley with a flatline into the turnbuckles. Shelley goes up top and Kazarian stops him. Shelley knocks Kazarian off the turnbuckles and he goes for a frog splash but Kazarian gets his knees up. Kazarian grabs the hammer and he swings at Shelley and misses. Shelley with a German suplex and the hammer falls to the mat.

Shelley grabs the hammer and he tosses it to Sabin who moved to the apron. Shelley with a super kick and then Shelley with a Shiranui for the three count.

Winner: Alex Shelley

After the match, Kazarian and Shelley discuss what happened.

We go to commercial.

Before the match starts, Truth Martini has something to say to the funny looking peacock man. He says that Silas Young has been trying to turn those boys into men. He says that the Boys don't need that, they need a daddy. He asks Who's your Daddy and he says it should be Joey Daddiego.

Match Number Two: Joey Daddiego (with Truth Martini) versus Dalton Castle (with The Boys)

They lock up and Castle is backed into the corner. Daddiego with a clean break. Castle with a waist lock and take down. Castle teases a dive to the floor but he hits the ropes and does the Peacock Strut. Daddiego tries to hit Castle from behind but it backfires. Daddiego is sent to the apron and Castle with a forearm to send him to the floor.

Castle gets on the turnbuckles and Daddiego hits Castle in the leg and Castle goes to the floor. The Boys check on Castle while Truth does a spinaroonie and he moonwalks. However, Truth does not know that the Boys have pulled the ropes and Truth falls to the floor. The Boys avoid Truth's attempts to attack them.

Meanwhile, back in the ring, Daddiego with punches. Daddiego goes to the turnbuckles and connects with a boot to the back. Daddiego gets a near fall. Daddiego punches Castle and he hits a standing power slam for a near fall. Daddiego with a hammer lock using the leg while he tries for a submission hold on the leg. Castle with a running forearm into the corner followed by an Irish whip. Castle with a running knee into the corner and then he drops Daddiego on the turnbuckles and connects with a knee to the midsection.

Castle grabs Daddiego when Daddiego misses a clothesline. Castle hits the Bang-o-Rang for the three count.

Winner: Dalton Castle

After the match, Silas Young comes out and he address Brent and Brendan. He tells them that is what their names are and what their mother named them. For months, he spent his time teaching you to be men.

Beer City Bruiser grabs The Boys from behind and then Silas hits Castle with the mic. Silas hits Misery on Castle.

Silas says for months, you boys were given opportunities and you disappointed him. Today, you have a choice. You have a choice. It is either learn to be a man or it is part of being a boy. The Boys attack Young and Bruiser. Young and Bruiser take control and then send them to the floor.

Castle with a forearm to Bruiser and then he hits Young with one. Young and the Bruiser send Castle into the corner. Young with a running forearm followed by a running butt splash by Bruiser. Young with a running knee and Bruiser with a cannonball.

We go to commercial.

Match Number Three: Leon St. Giovanni versus Action Ortiz in a Top Prospect Tournament First Round Match

They lock up and Ortiz with a knee to the midsection but he misses a drop kick when Leon holds the ropes. Leon with a drop kick and splash for a near fall. Ortiz goes to the floor and Leon goes for a dive but Ortiz with a forearm. Ortiz with a running clothesline and he gets a near fall. Ortiz goes to the turnbuckles and he goes up top but misses a frog splash when Leon moves.

Leon with a forearm and Ortiz fires back. They get back to their feet and Leon with punches and a back heel kick followed by a European uppercut. Ortiz with an Irish whip and splash into the corner. Ortiz pulls Leon out of the corner and Ortiz sends Leon to the apron.

Leon with a forearm and Leon with an Honor Roll for a near fall. Ortiz rolls to the floor. Leon with a slingshot corkscrew plancha onto Ortiz. Leon puts Ortiz into the ring and he goes up top. Leon leaps over Ortiz and he hits a roaring elbow. Leon goes for a double underhook but Ortiz escapes and hits a round kick and then he hits the Killscreen (reverse suplex into a cutter) for the three count.

Winner: Action Ortiz (Advances to the SemiFinals)

We go to commercial.

We are back and Kevin Kelly is with Stokely Hathaway at ringside. Stokely says 2016 will be the Year of Moose. Last year, they had some highs and some lows and the formula was not working. They are going to start at the top and they are going to challenge the Best Wrestler on the Planet, IWGP Champion Kazuchika Okada. Stokely makes the challenge for Okada to face Moose at the 14th Anniversary Show in Las Vegas.

Match Number Four: Rhett Titus and Kenny King versus Hanson and Raymond Rowe for the Ring of Honor Tag Team Titles

Titus and Hanson start things off and Titus with a wrist lock. Titus with a side head lock and Hanson lifts Titus off the mat. Hanson with a shoulder tackle. Titus with a knee to the midsection followed by a knee lift. King tags in and Titus with a reverse atomic drop and King with a clothesline. King and Titus with a double clothesline to take Hanson to the mat but Hanson pops back up immediately. Hanson with a cartwheel through another double clothesline attempt and Hanson with a double clothesline of his own.

Hanson tosses King into the corner and Rowe tags in. Hanson with a knee to the midsection and then Rowe with a knee followed by a Northern Lariat from Hanson. King with a punch but Rowe punches back. Rowe with a forearm to King and then he stands between King and his corner. Rowe with a chop followed by an Irish whip and hip toss but King lands on his feet.

King with a forearm and Rowe stays on his feet. Rowe charges into the corner and King moves. Titus with a kick and King drops Rowe on the top rope as he goes to the floor. Titus tags in and they Irish whip Rowe. Titus with an elbow and forearm followed by a jumping round kick from King. Titus gets a near fall. Titus with punches and kicks in the corner.

King tags back in and he knocks Hanson off the apron. Hanson pulls king off the apron and Rowe with a knee strike to Titus. Rowe slams King and then Rowe slams Hanson onto King. Hanson and Rowe pick up Titus when he tries to attack and send him to the mat with a slam. Hanson power bombs Rowe onto Titus. We go to commercial.

We are back and King punches Rowe and Hanson and adds back fists. Hanson gets King up and he hits a Death Valley Driver onto Rowe's knee. Rowe holds on to King and hits a tilt-a-whirl gutbuster. Rowe holds on to King but Titus stops Rowe with a drop kick. Titus tags in and Hanson goes over the top rope when he charges at Titus. Titus goes for a slingshot plancha but Rowe catches him and hits a fallaway slam.

King with shoulders against the guardrail on the other side of the ring. Hanson sends King into the guardrails and Rowe does the same to Titus. Rowe with a knee to Titus and Hanson chops King. King with a rake of the eyes. Rowe with an Irish whip of Titus into the guardrail and Hanson with a back drop to King. The referee almost gets to twenty as Titus Irish whips Rowe into the guardrail.

Hanson and Titus finally get back into the ring at nineteen. Hanson clotheslines Titus over the top rope to the floor and Hanson with a suicide dive onto Titus. Rowe punches King and King punches back. Rowe picks up King and King gets away. Rowe with a knee to King. Rowe sends King into the ring. King escapes an attempt at Fallout and King with an enzuigiri to knock Hanson off the turnbuckles.

Rowe goes for a running knee strike but he misses King (who is not the legal man in this match, but neither is Rowe) and Rowe hits the referee after King pulls the referee into the corner. King with a running drop kick to Rowe in the corner. Titus gets a table from under the ring and the streamers. The table is brought into the ring and it is set in the corner.

They set for a spike piledriver to the table as the referee tries to make sure he cannot see what is going on. Rowe escapes and he sends King through the table with a uranage. The referee calls for the bell.

Winners: Kenny King and Rhett Titus (by disqualification)

After the match, Titus with forearms to Rowe and Rowe with knees to Titus and punches. Security comes into the ring and Titus, Hanson, and Rowe send security to the floor. A second wave of security come to the ring and we go to credits.
