APP UPDATE, AWESOME KONG IN WWE, HAZING IN WRESTLING AND MORE

I'm sure you guys are getting flooded with questions but I'm wondering why the app isn't working. I can't access the site on my phone as ads freeze the page and overtake it so I cannot see if there is an update. If you could please get back to me that be awesome. I'm having PWI withdrawals.

We are in the midst of upgrading our server to make the site stronger. In the process, problems came up with the app and it would cost us money to fix it.  To be completely honest with you, fixing the app is not a high priority right now as it doesn’t bring in much revenue.  We need to allocate our resources towards the actual site. Sorry for the inconvenience that this causes. We plan to revisit the app again down the road but for now we are focusing on the server upgrade. In the interim, please feel to view the site at www.PWInsider.com.

Now that Awesome Kong is no longer with TNA, is there any chance WWE brings her back as Kharma?  And is this chance lessened by the fact that they already have Nia Jax, who is of similar build as Kong and someone they can utilize in the same monster heel role?

I don’t see it happening. In addition to Kong being older, WWE has noting to gain by bringing in someone that was fired for assaulting a fellow employee. That is not what a publicly traded company would do.

In answering another question you had mentioned that talents aren't getting much if any PPV bonuses...Ummm, wow! That's kind of a big deal I would think. I remember right around the time the WWE Network was launching there was supposed to be a meeting with the talent where that was to be discussed, but the meeting never happened for whatever reason. Now, two years later, was there ever an official announcement to everyone regarding that? Has there been any attempt to replace what I'm sure was a significant source of income for many people? I can't imagine people responded well to this.

Nope, no official announcement. It’s just become the new normal. And a lot of people aren’t happy with it, but there is not a lot they can do. WWE has all of the power and everyone knows it.

If the WWE network had existed when WWE purchased WCW, do you think they would have continued WCW as a separate brand on the network? Do you think that if, down the road, they were to purchase TNA, they would keep the brand going on the Network?

Since WWE could have done it back then and didn’t, my hunch is that they wouldn’t have now. It was more important to Vince to just show that WWE was better. As for TNA, it would depend on whether they had TV deals in place.

What is your stance on hazing in wrestling be it on new guys to the company or young up and comers?

I have never been a fan of hardcore hazing and don’t see any reason for it. I have no problem with making the young guy drive, or have him pick up lunch, stuff like that. But anything that is overly physical? There is no place for it. We have evolved past that kind of stupidity in my opinion. People should act like professionals. With that said, I don’t have a problem with the locker room sending a message, like making a guy who is a jerk dress in the hallway.
