You had a mentioned a unification title match between the IC and US for mania is a good way to bring prestige and importance to the match. I'll take it one step further. What If Daniel Bryan were cleared, and Del Rio issued an open challenge on Raw or Fast Lane and Bryan comes out as a surprise to defeat him. Then if Owens beats Ambrose we could have Bryan vs Owens title for title. Basically a ready made main event quality match on the undercard for mania. You had a mentioned a unification title match between the IC and US for mania is a good way to bring prestige and importance to the match. My only problem with it is that I think Ambrose is a guy that WWE should elevate into a top babyface role. As we have seen the last two years, Bryan has gotten hurt after WrestleMania and frankly, even if he does get cleared, he still has the concussion history which makes him susceptible to getting another one. Now, if he came back and lost to ADR, and then Ambrose beat Owens, I think that would be better booking since both of the guys in the Title match are healthy and have have more ahead of them than Bryan does.

More intriguing to you for Wrestlemania 32: Bray Wyatt vs. Brock Lesnar or Lesnar vs. Reigns 2?

As I type this on Sunday, the latter. I did a column last month where I laid out how I would book it and Roman could lose and still be more over afterward. Bray is a great worker, but the company hasn't done a good job of booking him to be in a top match. It's not his fault.

Has the Royal Rumble match lost its luster due to not having surprise winners and having many predictable winners over the years?

It certainly has to me. It is a byproduct of the bad overall booking that the company does. When they only book a few guys as being "legitimate" winners, it makes the rest of the talent seem unnecessary. And, they can't even do a shocking winner because if a guy isn't perceived as being championship material by the fans, having him win probably won't work.

Do you find it ironic that the betting favorite to the win the 2016 Royal Rumble match is the COO of WWE?

I actually found it sad and representative of the poor job that WWE has done in getting talents over at the next level. The Rumble should have at least six guys that you believe could win it every year. Any less than that is an indictment on the creative process in my opinion.

What may be your take on AAA Lucha Libre? Me personally, I really like what I see, talent really works hard to put on a good show, strong fan base, and a good mix of veterans and youngsters.

I enjoy it when I get time to watch it. I have always enjoyed Lucha. It is a fun product when done correctly.
