When the RKO out of nowhere Vine videos first came out, what was your reaction to them?

I thought it was a cool thing. It liked the way it took off and went viral. And, it got some good publicity for WWE.

So, I've read an interview about how Scott Hall didn't feel comfortable with Sting not going over at 31, and its apparent that Sting's entire run in WWE has been to satisfy Vince's ego. This crap is really getting old. Vince needs to understand when enough is enough. We get it, he's accomplished so much and crushing WCW is his crowning achievement, but we don't need to be constantly reminded of his "grapefruits". I think it's best for Sting to retire at this point, lest Vince tarnish him even more. I know the match with Seth was phenomenal; and no, Sting shouldn't have gone over there either, but in his short career, Sting has an 0-2 record in WWE.  I'm quite honestly appalled. Your thoughts?

I said at the time that it was the wrong way to book the match. Sting was an asset that could have been used in a much better way for the company. Instead, Vince did the same thing to Sting that he did when he acquired the WCW assets, he showed WWF/WWE superiority over WCW. To me, the smarter business move would have been to use those assets to make more money, but Vince McMahon is the billionaire that won the war, so he can do what he chooses to do.

This is more of a thought that I had than a question.....wanting your feelings on the topic.  I was watching a lot of manager stuff on the Network, including the Legends Roundtable on the subject.  It started to make me think about how fantastic Bobby Heenan would be in so many different capacities on the Network.  I'm very, very happy that he's still fighting the good fight and battling through some very tough health situations but at the same time... sad, selfishly, that we're being deprived of his genius.  Best overall performer in the business of all time.....and it's not even close.

I am not big on picking one person as the greatest of all time but Bobby Heenan is undoubtedly in any conversation about the best of all time, without a doubt.

I’m a bit frustrated with what WWE is doing to their new talent. Kalisto had two excellent matches that result in him winning the US title, and the next day on Smackdown he loses it back to Del Rio. What is the logic behind putting a title on someone (most recently Kalisto with the US Title), just to take it off of them  the next day? I remember this happening to Marty Jannetty with the IC belt in the 90s. It didn’t elevate him, just seemed to deflate the push.

Their goal was to get people to watch Smackdown on its new home. They figured that the Title switch would be exciting and get people to tune in. But I agree, it didn’t help either guy in my opinion.

Does the induction of Sting into HOF means that he is retired?

Officially, probably not. But given that Sting has said that he has spinal stenosis that probably means he won’t get back in the ring again. That is a serious condition and a bad bump could leave him paralyzed.
