MAJOR, MAJOR TNA SPOILER

By Mike Johnson on 2016-01-08 19:33:49
Matt Hardy just defeated EC3 to win the TNA championship for the second time at a TV taping in Bethlehem, PA. The title change will air on a future episode of Impact Wrestling with the stipulation being that should Hardy not win, he would have to leave TNA.

I am waiting for complete details but it was explained to me as a double turn with Hardy going heel (and Tyrus joining his side) while EC3 became a babyface.

The loss marked the first "official" loss for EC3 since debuting in the company at the 2013 Bound for Glory PPV. EC3 had defeated Hardy to win the championship on this past Tuesday's Impact Wrestling debut on POP, closing out the World title Series.

Hardy had captured the belt, his first singles "World title" in a Three-Way with EC3 and Drew Galloway at Bound for Glory 2015, a title change that led to EC3's lawyers "filing legal injunctions" that led to Hardy vacating the belt.

TNA will further this storyline tomorrow at their final TV taping this week.
