WHY PUNK VS. NASH DIDN’T HAPPEN, ONE HOUSE LESS OF RAW, WHY THE FANS DIDN’T POP FOR BECKY-SASHA AND MORE

Back in 2011, Kevin Nash was booked to face CM Punk, however the match never happened. He had cost Punk the title at Summerslam and the 2 of them feuded with a match even being announced, however HHH stepped in and beat both Punk and Nash within a few months and the angle was over. What happened to the Nash Punk match?

As it turned out, WWE started the angle before giving Nash a full physical. Since Nash’s father died of a massive heart attack in his 30s, Nash was on a drug to prevent heart issues since the issue was hereditary and the company wouldn’t let him wrestle because of that. They were just looking out for him. The problem was that they should have done the physical before they started the angle.

With Smackdown moving to the USA Network, and thus them gaining two hours of additional WWE product to advertise on, do you think there's now the possibility that Raw could return to two hours? I understand that it was USA that wanted Raw at 3 hours, not WWE.

It was definitely USA’s call to add the third hour and they did it because they were trying to get their overall viewership numbers up. Since they are still trying to do that I don’t see Raw going back to two hours any time soon. I think WWE would be on board with it if USA made the offer.

With the sad news of the passing of Motorhead's lead singer Lemmy this week, could a case be made for him to be inducted into the celebrity wing of the WWE Hall of Fame one day?  Along the lines of Jim Johnston, he could always be counted on to compose some great entrance themes for Triple H/Evolution.

To me it an absolute slam dunk. He definitely belongs in the Hall. He did a lot for WWE and given how close he was to HHH, I think it will happen.

People complained about the diva's revolution, chanting "We want Sasha" and clamoring for some meaningful wrestling matches like the ones presented on NXT.  This week we get a significant amount of time devoted to Sasha vs. Becky, and the fans chant "boring."  There is just no pleasing the fans these days.  Why did this match get this kind of reaction, and if this is how this type of match is received, where do the divas go from here?

In my opinion it comes down to the storytelling. Sure, there are some fans that will watch anyone wrestle someone else with no back story, but a significant portion of the fan base wants a story outside of the ring to lead to a match, which then can tell a story inside of the ring. WWE just put Sasha and Becky in there cold, for no real reason. I think that is why it didn’t resonate. The Divas Revolution is about more than women wrestling. It’s also about the way that the women are presented and that hasn’t changed since the NXT women were called up. That is the major issue.

All during last night's Raw, when Owens was attacking Ambrose (both times), I kept wondering...Where was Roman? And don't you find it odd that while "his brother" was getting his butt handed to him (twice), he was nowhere to be seen, But then, at the end, he came out for Cena? Am I missing something here, or is it once again creative?

It is a fair complaint, no doubt. WWE would counter that Ambrose was in a one-on-one situation while Cena was under attack by a group.
