I can see both sides of the Daniel Bryan issue, as long as he's not cleared to compete are there any talents you see who could maybe benefit from Bryan being their storyline mentor? Maybe an NXT talent that Bryan could take under his wing in a managerial/mentor role and build a story where Bryan basically helps mold the next Daniel Bryan? They could take it slow with maybe a payoff down the line id Bryan is cleared by them have a student vs. mentor match?
WWE definitely wants to keep Bryan around no matter what. I think there are a lot of things that they could do with him, including that. I would just hope if they did that, WWE creative would treat the mentored talent well. It’s no secret that putting Bryan at the top of the card wasn’t their long term plan but rather something that the fans forced on them.
Why did the NWA (I believe) have so many world titles decades ago? By that, I mean it seems when I read the "Today in Wrestling History" column, I read about wrestler X winning the New York version of the World Championship. How well regarded were these titles vs. other national organizations, since it was probably widely believed that, say Bruno Sammartino was the "real" world champion?
That is because there was one World champion who toured, well, the world. That meant that each regional promotion needed to have a top Title as well, for when the NWA Champion wasn’t in town.
How much do you think the 2300 Arena is worth?
Whatever an investor would pay for it. Without seeing the financials and the comps in the area, I can’t give you a specific price.
I know a lot of people boo Roman Reigns because of the situation they put him in at The Royal Rumble, but personally I don't think he is that entertaining to watch and i think there are better talent to push as a face champion. Cesaro, if he wasn't injured for one, Dean Ambrose and even Dolph Ziggler given the right booking would be more entertaining as champion than Reigns. So my question is this, outside of his size and look what do the people who want to see him pushed to a World Title see in him? For some reason I can't see him as a World Champion that could carry the company.
Vince McMahon sees something in him, which is all that matters really. Beyond that, fans see a guy with a good look that has improved a lot in the ring. His major weakness is on promos, and Vince McMahon does him no favors by things that he writes for him to say.
So Charlotte’s brothers death was brought up in a promo for what I can only presume to be an idea to get fans more behind Charlotte and get her some sympathy? 2 weeks later she is a border line heel. What is the point? Is there ANY long term planning on creative?????????????
I got nothing. They plan minute to minute.
