WWE HALL OF FAMER SAYS HE IS CLOSE TO MOVING ON FROM WATCHING WWE DUE TO HANDLING OF TALENT

By Mike Johnson on 2015-11-24 15:55:51
WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley may be a multi-time WWE champion, but he's also at the point where he feels so disconnected from the WWE product, that he's publicly stated he's about to wash his hands of it and no longer follow it.

In the past, Foley has written about the dangers of WWE losing fan interest because they under-value and dismiss some of the talents that have gotten themselves over with the audience on their own, losing the fans that have gotten emotionally attached to them in the process, citing Zack Ryder as one of those talents.

In a blog written today on his Facebook Page, Foley said he is close to considering himself one of those fans that WWE has lost because of their treatment of talents on their own roster.

"I am one of those people on the verge of becoming a former WWE fan," Foley wrote. "I'm tired of being told through Raw, Smackdown and PPV's that WWE superstars I have rooted for - from Ziggler to Cesaro to Kevin Owens aren't top stars - no matter how strongly crowd reaction seems to disagree. I'm tired of NXT stars getting their big "break" in WWE, just to be treated like jokes."

Foley went on to knock WWE only giving Sasha Banks vs. Becky Lynch four minutes of ring time last night, noting that when they wrestled in NXT, it was a tremendous encounter that was worth the 12 hours of travel he and his son went through to be there live in Florida as it was one of the "best women's matches" he had ever seen.

Foley called upon WWE to change how they were presenting the talents, describing himself as the type of lifelong wrestling fan that WWE is in danger of losing if they don't properly cultivate and present their talents on TV.
