WHO SHOULD BE THE NEXT WWE CHAMPION, WHO WILL PROBABLY BE THE NEXT WWE CHAMPION, WHO SHOULD NOT BE THE NEXT WWE CHAMPION AND MORE

What do you think about this situation? Have ADR or Kevin Owens win the title tournament. Have Roman Reigns enter the Royal Rumble at number 1and battle through 29 other guys to help build him up more. Then build for Wrestlemania and have Reigns win the title at Wrestlemania.

I think it’s too soon to put the belt on Roman. He is starting to get over with the people and I think if he overcame more adversity, it would help with that. I also think that since December is a throwaway month for the company, it makes no sense to waste Roman’s coronation at that time. So yes, I am fine with putting the title on a heel. On our shows last week, I laid out a scenario that would have Finn Balor face off with Owens in the final, and I think it would energize the show. I also think it would interest some of the 900,000 people that have stopped watching Raw since June.

So with Rollins now being out, and WWE having to make a new WHC, do you think they will be smart enough to elevate someone into contention, or will they just put someone in as a placeholder until Rollins returns?

As I said above, I would use this situation to try and elevate someone and give the product a much needed jolt. But, the talk was that Reigns was going to win before Rollins got hurt. I would not be surprised if they stick with that plan, and to be fair, they could make the case that they were elevating Roman by doing so.

I know fantasy booking is not favored with PWI. I however wonder what you think will happen at Series. I think the most likely scenario is a Dean heel turn and a briefcase cashing Sheamus leaving with the title. Do you see that happening? If not what do you think will happen?

I would HATE that. If Dean turns, it means nothing at all. If Sheamus wins the Title, he does so with no momentum at all. Right now, I think Reigns wins and if he does, they had better book him as overcoming a lot of adversity.

Bad break for Seth Rollins. I sincerely hope he can come back 100% but given the type of injury and his style, that's a tall hill to climb. So, with a tournament announced, and ratings sinking, is it time for WWE to pull the trigger and bring back Daniel Bryan?

Honestly, no I don’t. As I said above, we are going into WWE’s dead zone after the Series. Things don’t pick up until the Royal Rumble, so I don’t waste a Bryan return now. WWE is already without Seth Rollins and Randy Orton for WrestleMania. They need drawing power, and that is where I would use Bryan. Given his recent injury history, I would not chance bringing him back now and getting hurt when he will help me the most when I am trying to fill the stadium at Mania.

Raw has dropped to a 2.2 in recent weeks. Unthinkable 10-15 years ago. Yet nothing has changed. Storylines with pot holes in, popular stars going no were, and basically being a poor show. At what point do things change? And by change, I mean really change. Does a 1.9 get USA involved? Does a 1.5 get shareholders demanding change?

WWE is VERY lucky in that USA has been in a funk themselves. Their recent shows have not done well overall, meaning WWE is even more important to their strategy than they were before. Hell, they have moved Smackdown over to USA for that very reason, they need ratings. This gets WWE some leeway. There is definitely a point where the poop will hit the fan, but they still have some leeway before they get any heat. I think going under a 2.0 will start the fire, if not totally bring on the heat, from USA. As for the shareholders, since the McMahons control the voting stock, they aren’t a big issue.
