WWE SMACKDOWN REPORT: WHO DEY GONNA FACE THE NEW DAY?, PAIGE IS READY TO MAKE AMENDS, THE STARDUST SECTION DEBUTS, AND MORE

We are in Cincinnati, Ohio and your announcers are Jerry Lawler, Rich Brennan, and Booker T.

Before our opening match, Bo Dallas has something to say.

He tells Roman that there is nothing wrong with being scared. You are less than two weeks away from being trapped in Hell in a Cell against a man you have come up short against time after time.

Bo says he knows about being in scary situations. He went to Suplex City. Unlike you, Bo says he survived. Roman, he knows there is only one way you are leaving Hell in a Cell. That is on a stretcher.

BO-LIEVE That.

Match Number One: Bo Dallas versus Roman Reigns

They lock up and Roman backs Bo into the corner and Bo with a punch out of the break. Bo with more punches and a back elbow. Roman with kicks and a neck breaker. Roman gets Bo up and Bo gets to the ropes. Roman with an uppercut but he runs into a boot.

Bo with a clothesline off the turnbuckles and then he follows with forearms to the back. Bo with more punches. Roman with a clothesline and then he sends Bo into the turnbuckles for Neverending Story. Bo begs for mercy when Roman winds up. Bo offers his hand to Roman and Roman shakes it. Bo with a kick but Roman holds on. Bo with another kick and Roman holds on. Bo tries to get away but Roman holds on and hits a Samoan drop.

Roman with the Superman Punch followed by the Spear for the three count.

Winner: Roman Reigns

After the match, Roman gets on the mic and he says that Bray Wyatt says that he is the devil. He says that he could not agree any more. He sees the good in people’s eyes. When he looks into Bray’s eyes, he sees pure evil. He can see Bray in the depths of hell saying that he is the devil.

In less than two weeks, he will meet the devil in Hell in a Cell and he will bring the fight. The only way to stop the devil is to ride straight into hell.

Bray Wyatt appears on the TitanTron.

Bray hums an oldie but a goodie and then says your virtues are many Roman, but it is your sins that will be your undoing. Not your sins of vanity, but it is the sin of pride that will be your ending. You are neither his master nor his muse. Tonight, it does not suit him to come down and go to war with you. Next Monday night on Raw, I will deliver unto to you a prophecy. Anyone but you Roman. . . anyone but you.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Stardust is sitting in the crowd with a “Stardust Section” sign and he is joined by Konnor and Viktor.

Match Number Two: Cesaro and Neville versus Sheamus and Wade Barrett

Neville and Barrett start things off. They lock up and Neville with a side head lock and Neville with a head scissors take down. Barrett puts Neville on the turnbuckles and connects with forearms to the back and then Barrett mocks Cesaro before going for the knee to Neville, but Neville gets to the apron. Neville with a series of kicks followed by the running kick to the temple.

Neville with a side head lock and Sheamus makes the blind tag. Neville goes for a rana but Sheamus holds on. Neville counters a power bomb into a rana that sends Sheamus over the top rope to the floor. Neville ducks when Barrett charges at him and Barrett goes over the top rope to the floor. Cesaro elevates Neville onto Barrett and Sheamus.

Cesaro sees Stardust in the crowd. Neville with a kick to Sheamus and a springboard cross body for a near fall.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Neville with a boot to the head for a near fall. Barrett with a knee to the back and then he stretches Neville. We see footage from the commercial break when Sheamus hit Neville from behind after Neville was distracted by Barrett on the apron.

Barrett with a reverse chin lock. Neville with punches and forearms but Barrett runs Neville into the turnbuckles. Sheamus tags in and he kicks Neville. Barrett with a punch while Sheamus argues with the referee. Sheamus gets between Neville and his corner and he gets Neville up for a suplex throw.

Sheamus with a European uppercut and Barrett tags in and he kicks Neville. Barrett with a snap mare and reverse chin lock. Neville with punches but Barrett sends him into the corner. Neville moves out of the way but Barrett stops him and sends Neville into the corner again. Barrett misses a boot in the corner and both men are down.

Sheamus and Cesaro tag in and Cesaro with punches and European uppercuts. Cesaro with an Irish whip and running European uppercut. He does it another four times and then he hits a running drop kick. Cesaro with a shot to Barrett’s midsection to send him to the floor. Cesaro goes to the apron and he kicks Sheamus. Cesaro goes to the floor and hits a running European uppercut on Barrett.

Cesaro with a springboard corkscrew European uppercut and he gets a near fall. Cesaro sets for the Giant Swing but Sheamus gets to the ropes and he kicks Cesaro away. Sheamus grabs the briefcase and the referee takes it from Sheamus. While the referee’s back is turned, Barrett with a BullHammer and Sheamus gets the three count.

Winners: Sheamus and Wade Barrett

Renee Young is in the interview area with Summer Rae, who is already in her referee’s outfit. Renee asks Summer about the proposal and then the betrayal by RuRu that he was already engaged.

We see a video about what happened on Raw.

Summer says that is not the first time she has put a man in his place and it won’t be the last.

Renee asks Summer if she can be impartial.

Summer says that unlike some people, she can keep her personal and professional life separate.

We go to commercial.

We are back and we see Byron Saxton with Dean Ambrose earlier today in the locker room. Byron asks Dean about Paige being called the most unpredictable Superstar or Diva. Dean says it would have been nice to win, but Paige is crazy. Meanwhile, Dean pulls out a Slammy, a slinky, a magic 8 ball, a balloon animal. Dean looks for something else and Dean leaves. Byron looks in the bag and pulls out a Payday bar. Dean comes back in and says that was what he was looking for and takes a bite without removing the wrapper.

Ryback is sitting at the announce table to watch the next match.

Match Number Three: Kevin Owens versus Zack Ryder in a Non Title Match

Ryder with a forearm as the bell rings but Owens pushes him away. Ryder with a boot to the head and then he climbs the turnbuckles and punches Owens but Owens gets away and he crotches Ryder and connects with forearms to the back and then hits a splash into the corner. Owens kicks Ryder.

Ryder with forearms. Ryder with a kick and Owens blocks another kick and then Ryder misses an enzuigiri. Owens with a back senton and then Owens has something to say to Ryback, but Ryder with a rollup for a near fall. Ryder with knees to Owens followed by a missile drop kick. Ryder misses a splash into the corner and Owens with a clothesline and then he announces ‘Finish It’ and Owens with a pop up powerbomb for the three count.

Winner: Kevin Owens

After the match, Ryback gets into the ring but Owens leaves the ring and he demands his title belt.

We go to commercial.

We are back with a look at what happened on Raw between Seth Rollins and Kane.

Natalya is walking in the back and Paige is outside her locker room. Paige says she is not here to fight Nattie, she is here to apologize.

Natalya tells her she has thirty seconds.

Paige says she is so sorry. It was amazing to win the title right away. She has set these expectations and there is so much pressure. Charlotte becomes the champion and then you start tagging with them. Paige says it is all going backwards.

Natalya asks if Paige wants a hug.

Paige says she wants to make it right. When you posted that picture from NXT when they had their match and hugged and cried together. She misses Nattie being her friend and mentor.

Natalya tells Paige she has a long way to go and this is a start. Natalya goes into her locker room and Paige has a confused look on her face.

Match Number Four: Dolph Ziggler versus Rusev with Guest Referee Summer Rae

Rusev backs Ziggler into the corner and connects with a knee and follows with kicks to Ziggler. Summer warns Rusev and he doesn’t really listen too well. Rusev chokes Ziggler in the ropes. Ziggler punches Rusev and follows with a kick. Rusev with a drop kick. Ziggler goes to the apron and Rusev with a running shoulder tackle that knocks Ziggler off the apron into the ringside barrier.

Ziggler gets back into the ring and Rusev kicks Ziggler and hits a diving head butt. Rusev kicks Ziggler in the ribs. Rusev with a chin lock but Ziggler with elbows and a jaw breaker. Ziggler with an elbow and kick to Rusev.

Ziggler with a cross body but Rusev catches Ziggler and goes for a fallaway slam but Ziggler with a rollup for a near fall. Rusev with a clothesline and then Rusev takes time to argue with Summer about her count and Summer reminds Rusev that she is the referee. Ziggler with a drop kick and a splash into the corner and a neck breaker. Ziggler with an elbow drop.

Ziggler sets for the Fameasser but Rusev catches Ziggler and tries to hot shot Ziggler into the turnbuckles but Ziggler stops short. Rusev misses a splash into the corner. Rusev catapults Ziggler into the turnbuckles and hits the jumping thrust kick but Summer forgets how to get down on her knees and she makes a count that would make Randy Orton jealous. Rusev yells at Summer and Summer slaps Rusev.

Ziggler with a Zig Zag for the three count.

Winner: Dolph Ziggler

After the match, Summer wants to talk to Dolph. She says she was so devastated on Raw when she found out that Rusev cheated on her. She reminds Dolph that Lana cheated on him. Lana and Rusev did them dirty. Now that Lana is out of your life and Rusev is out of her life . . .

You cannot deny their chemistry and looking into your crystal clear baby blue eyes . . .

Dolph takes the mic and he says he has chemistry with a lot of girls. Dolph says he knows what she is trying to do. She is trying to use him and when it comes to those type of games, he is not playing them.

Renee Young is in the interview area with The Dudley Boyz and Dean Ambrose. Renee asks about them teaming for the first time against the New Day and wonders if they have what it takes to beat the New Day.

Bubba asks Renee if she is talking about chemistry because you know who they are and Dean Ambrose is like a combustible element all on his own. Bubba asks Renee to touch Dean’s arm and Renee does it and they make a boom sound.

D-Von says the New Day has been running from them since they came back to the WWE. At Hell in a Cell, there will be a celebration when they become the ten time tag team champions.

Dean says by now, the New Day should know what happens when you make a wrong turn into Dudleyville. He says that if you make a wrong turn, you are going to get your wallet and shoes stolen. Dean says it reminds him of another place . . . home sweet home . . . Cincinnati, Ohio. They are going to represent Dudleyville and Cincinnati tonight by giving the New Day a 3D.

We go to commercial.

Match Number Five: Darren Young and Titus O’Neil versus Luke Harper and Braun Strowman

Braun and Titus start things off and they lock up. Titus sends Braun into the corner and then he connects with punches. Strowman with an Irish whip but Titus floats over. Titus with clotheslines in the corner followed by a splash but Strowman stays on his feet. Strowman with a shoulder tackle followed by a kick. Braun with a shoulder and knee in the corner.

Strowman sends Titus to the mat and Harper tags in and he connects with a double palm thrust to the ribs and an uppercut. Harper with a Gator Roll to the former Gator and Harper with a side head lock. Titus with a belly-to-back suplex to get out of the hold and both men are down. Young tags in and Young with a clothesline and forearm.

Harper goes to the floor and then the go to the apron and Young tries for a back drop driver onto the apron but Harper blocks it. Young with a kick and neck breaker on the apron. Strowman makes the tag and Young with a rollup on Harper. Harper kicks out and sends Young to Strowman and Young with a forearm.

Harper with a super kick when Young turns around. Titus sends Harper to the floor and Strowman chokes Young out.

Winners: Luke Harper and Braun Strowman

We go to commercial.

Match Number Six: Charlotte (with Becky Lynch) versus Alicia Fox (with Brie Bella and Nikki Bella)

Nikki gets on the apron to distract Charlotte and that allows Alicia to connect with forearms. Alicia with a tilt-a-whirl back breaker for a near fall. Alicia with a knee to the back and a reverse chin lock. Alicia takes Charlotte down to her knees. Charlotte tries to escape but Alicia holds on.

We see Sasha Banks, Naomi, and Tamina watching on the monitor in the back.

Alicia sends Charlotte into the turnbuckles and hits a Northern Lights suplex for a near fall. Alicia with a kick to the midsection. Alicia with a snap mare and reverse chin lock. Charlotte avoids a back breaker and both women with boots to the head and both are down. Charlotte with chops and a neck breaker.

Charlotte with a spear and she applies the figure four leg lock and she bridges. Alicia taps out.

Winner: Charlotte

After the match, Nikki and Brie attack Charlotte and Becky. Becky is thrown to the floor by Brie. Charlotte is held by Brie and Alicia. Nikki slaps Charlotte.

Paige comes out and she goes after Nikki, Brie, and Alicia. Becky and Charlotte send them to the floor.

Paige stands in the ring with Charlotte and Becky, but not right next to them.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Paige tries to catch up to Becky and Charlotte in the back. Paige talks about the reunion and then she says that she has a lot to do to make up to them. Becky says Paige did some terrible things. Charlotte tells her it needs to be done a day at a time.

Paige leaves as people go into Natalya’s locker room and she is down and holding her midsection.

We take a look at the Hell in a Cell match between Brock Lesnar and the Undertaker.

The New Day make their way to the ring and they have something to say before their match.

Kofi tells everyone you might as well forget about everything you learned in your science books because the most powerful thing in this universe is the Power of Positivity.

Xavier says to think about the people who have stood up to the New Day.

John Cena . . . DROPPED HIM.

Dolph Ziggler . . . DROPPED HIM.

Randy Orton . . . DROPPED HIM.

D-Von Dudley . . . DROPPED HIM.

Booty Ray Dudley . . . DROPPED HIM.

Cincinnati’s own filthy street urchin Dean Ambrose . . . DROPPED HIM.

Kofi says it is all science. You could call it geology . . . the New Day ROCKS

Match Number Seven: Dean Ambrose, Bubba Ray Dudley, and D-Von Dudley versus Xavier Woods, Kofi Kingston, and Big E

Kofi and Bubba start things off and Kofi with a side head lock. Bubba tries to get out of the hold by elevating Kofi but Kofi holds on. Bubba with a hip toss and slam. D-Von tags in and they hit a double forearm and double elbow drop. D-Von with a side slam for a near fall. Kofi backs D-Von into the corner and D-Von fights out of the corner but Woods distracts the referee and Big E trips D-Von and pulls him into the ring post in a very uncomfortable place.

Big E tags in and kicks D-Von. Xavier tags in and adds more kicks. Kofi tags in for some kicks. Big E tags back in for kicks. Xavier tags in and kicks D-Von some more. Kofi tags in and kicks D-Von. Big E tags in and kicks D-Von some more. Xavier tags in and is the recipient of the Irish whip for a drop kick to D-Von and Xavier gets a near fall.

Xavier with a Cobra Clutch. D-Von with punches but Xavier with forearms. Xavier with an Irish whip and follows with a forearm into the corner. Woods misses a splash into the corner when D-Von moves and D-Von with a chop and neck breaker.

Ambrose tags in and he connects with forearms to Woods and Kofi and Big E on the apron. Dean with a forearm into the corner followed by a bulldog. Ambrose goes up top and kicks Kofi away and then Dean avoids Woods and hits a suicide dive onto Kofi. Ambrose with a clothesline to Woods. Big E tries to send Dean back into the ring but Dean rolls around on the apron and clotheslines Big E.

Dean brings Woods back into the ring and Dean with an elbow drop for a near fall. Dean puts Woods on the turnbuckles for a butterfly superplex but Big E makes the blind tag and hits a clothesline but Big E misses the Warrior splash.

Bubba tags in and he clotheslines Kofi a few times and follows with a back body drop. Bubba with jabs to Woods followed by a Bubbonic Elbow with a trombone accompaniment. Kofi with a drop kick to Bubba to send him to the floor. D-Von with a spinebuster to Kofi. Big E with a belly-to-belly suplex to D-Von. Ambrose with a missile drop kick to Big E. Dean goes up top but Woods pushes Dean off the turnbuckles.

Kofi with a rollup on Bubba for a near fall. Kofi misses Trouble in Paradise but The Dudleys do not miss with 3D and Woods breaks up the cover with the trombone and the referee calls for the bell.

Winners: Bubba Ray Dudley, D-Von Dudley, and Dean Ambrose (by disqualification)

After the match, Big E attacks D-Von while Woods hits Bubba with the trombone. Woods hits D-Von in the midsection and back with the trombone. Woods with a running knee to Bubba. Kofi with Trouble in Paradise to Bubba. Big E kicks D-Von and then he tells Kofi to go up top for the spike Big Ending.
