Match Number One: Carmella versus Peyton Royce
They fist bump before locking up. Carmella with a side head lock but Royce with a head scissors and Carmella escapes. Peyton with a side head lock and Carmella escapes. Carmella with a rollup for a near fall. Carmella goes for the leg but Royce with a back slide for a near fall. Carmella with a back slide of her own for a near fall. Carmella with a La Magistral for a near fall.
Carmella moonwalks and then ducks a clothesline. Carmella with an atomic drop and drop kick for a near fall. Peyton blocks a suplex and Royce with a suplex and bridge for a near fall. Royce with a reverse chin lock. Royce traps the arm in the chin lock. Carmella gets to her feet and she snap mares Royce to get out of the hold. Royce with a kick and Irish whip but Carmella with an elbow when Royce charges into the corner.
Carmella with a head scissors followed by a shoulder in the corner. Carmella sends Royce into the turnbuckles and hits an Edge-O-Matic for a near fall. Carmella with a reverse chin lock. Carmella keeps Royce on the mat. Royce gets Carmella on her back and she sends Carmella into the corner. Royce with a series of spin kicks followed by a cross body for a near fall>
Carmella with a flatline into a head scissors submission and Royce taps out.
Winner: Carmella
Samoa Joe stops by to check if Finn is ready. Finn says the Lucha Dragons are no joke and he is going to do this for Dusty. Joe tells Finn not to forget his title belt and he will see him in the ring.
We see footage from Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady against Angelo Dawkins and Sawyer Fulton in a first round tournament match from an NXT house show.
Enzo and Cass advance to the second round. They will face the winner of the Lucha Dragons versus Finn Balor and Samoa Joe match.
We see Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson against Elias Samson and Tucker Knight from a house show in a first round tournament match. Dawson and Wilder won the match.
Dawson and Wilder will face the winner of the Blake and Murphy versus Vaudevillains match in the second round.

Bull Dempsey and Tyler Breeze come to the ring first and Bull does Tyler’s sit on the turnbuckles and pose bit while they wait for their opponents to make their way to the ring.
Match Number Two: Tyler Breeze and Bull Dempsey versus Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa in a Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic First Round Match
Breeze and Ciampa start things off. They lock up and Breeze with an arm drag and Breeze lays on the turnbuckles to show Dempsey how it is done. Ciampa slaps Breeze and Breeze tags in Bull. Ciampa does not look impressed with Bull. Bull likes the fans chanting for him and then he locks up. Ciampa with a side head lock and he holds on. Ciampa with a shoulder tackle but he bounces off Dempsey.
Breeze tags in and Breeze with a side head lock. Ciampa with a shoulder tackle. Breeze with a rollup but Gargano tags in and he hits a spear through the ropes. Gargano runs into the corner and Breeze moves. Gargano floats over Breeze and he rolls through and kicks Breeze in the head. Gargano with a leaping neck breaker for a near fall. Dempsey is tagged back in.
Gargano goes for an arm drag but he cannot get Dempsey over. Gargano tries for a cross body but he bounces off Bull. Gargano with an enzuigiri that sends Dempsey to his knees. Ciampa tags in and he hits a running knee to the head for a near fall. Ciampa with knees and kicks to Bull followed by a side head lock.
Ciampa with a boot to the head and we go to commercial.
We are back and Ciampa with a sleeper to Dempsey. Dempsey falls back to the mat to get Ciampa to release the hold. Gargano tags in and he drop kicks Breeze off the apron. Bull with an elbow to Gargano and Breeze is on the floor so Dempsey cannot make the tag. Bull with a series of jabs to Gargano and he connects with a bionic elbow. Bull comes off the ropes and he knocks Breeze to the floor.
Ciampa makes the tag and Gargano with a sunset flip and Ciampa with a jackknife cover for the three count.
Winners: Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa (Advance to face Rhyno and Baron Corbin)
After the match, Breeze attacks Dempsey and kicks him. Breeze with punches to Dempsey followed by kicks. Breeze with a super kick to Dempsey.
The Lucha Dragons are in the interview area. Cara says they are ready for the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. Kalisto says they are doing this for the honor of their good friend Dusty Rhodes. Kalisto says it is an honor to compete against Samoa Joe and the current NXT Champion Finn Balor. You should not underestimate the Dragons because they will breathe fire. Be careful because you will get burnt by the Lucha Dragons. Kalisto says this is for Dusty.
Devin Taylor is with Dana Brooke in the interview area and Devin says something looks to be bothering her. Dana says she has not tapped Devin on the head in a while and she had to watch Carmella say that she is the hottest Diva, but that is not what is bothering her.
Dana says that she had to see Bayley, someone she has already beaten in the ring, become the new NXT Women’s Champion. Dana says she wanted to be taken seriously and be known as the NXT Women’s Champion and the best female wrestler in NXT. Dana says that she needs to become the NXT Women’s Champion. Some say she does not take it seriously. Some think that she will use her talent and her looks to get to the top. Dana says she turned down her invitation to the Arnold Classic in Spain to compete in NXT. Everyone in NXT better watch out because Dana Brooke, the Total Diva is ready to rule. She says playtime is over.
Dana walks away and then she taps Devin on the head.

Match Number Three: Dana Brooke versus Billie Kay
They lock up and Dana pushes Billie away. They lock up again and Dana backs Billie into the corner. Dana taps Billie on the head on a break. Dana backs into the ropes and Billie pulls her into the ring and applies a side head lock. Billie with a float over in the corner followed by a side head lock take down.
Dana with a top wrist lock and then she tries for a slam but Billie gets to her feet and applies a side head lock. Billie avoids a tilt-a-whirl back breaker and returns to the side head lock. Dana with a near fall. Dana misses a clothesline and Billie with a head scissors. Billie with a side head lock. Dana with a top wrist lock into a side head lock.
Dana sends Billie to the mat and then she slams Billie’s head into the mat. Dana with punches and then she poses. Dana sends Billie into the turnbuckles and connects with shoulders. Dana with a handstand and she chokes Billie. Dana with a clothesline and an elbow drop out of a handstand. Dana with a reverse chin lock. Billie punches Dana and Dana pulls Billie to the mat. Dana with another elbow drop out of a handstand for a near fall. Dana with a head scissors and she goes to a push up while in the head scissors. Dana drives Billie’s head into the mat. Billie with an escape and jackknife cover for a near fall. Billie with clotheslines. Billie with a rana and a boot to the chest for a near fall.
Dana kicks Billie away. Dana has a kick blocked but she hits an enzuigiri followed by Cradle Shock for the three count.
Winner: Dana Brooke
Apollo Crews is in the interview area with Devin Taylor. She brings up his first few matches. Apollo says it is hard to describe the feeling. He says it was not the NXT Universe, it was the Apollo Nation and it is going to take over NXT.

Match Number Four: Kalisto and Sin Cara versus Samoa Joe and Finn Balor in a Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic First Round Match
Balor and Cara start things off and they lock up. Cara with a waist lock and Balor with a wrist lock. Cara with a reversal. Balor rolls through and Cara takes Finn to the mat. Balor with a reversal and arm drag into an arm bar. Cara with a side head lock take down. Balor with a rollup for a near fall. Balor with a drop kick and Kalisto tags in.
Kalisto leaps over Balor and Kalisto is sent to the floor. Balor with a Slingblade to Cara. Balor knocks Cara off the apron to the floor and then Balor with a plancha onto Cara and Kalisto.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Joe sends Cara into the turnbuckles. Joe with jabs in the corner followed by a chop to the top of the head. Balor tags in and Joe with a slam and Balor with a slingshot double stomp for a near fall. Balor with a chop and Irish whip followed by a running chop. Cara with an Irish whip and Balor floats over but Cara with a tilt-a-whirl back breaker. Kalisto with a slingshot splash for a near fall.
Kalisto with another near fall. Kalisto with an arm bar and Cara tags back in. Kalisto trips Balor and Cara with a slingshot senton for a near fall. Cara with a waist lock. Cara with kicks and he tags in Kalisto. Cara monkey flips Kalisto onto Balor for a splash and a near fall. Kalisto with a front face lock and Cara tags back in.
Cara punches Balor a few times. Cara with a waist lock. Cara with knees but Balor with an elbow and Pele kick. Both men are down. Joe tags in and he punches Cara. Joe with an Irsih whip and running elbow into the corner followed by an enzuigiri. Joe with a running boot to Kalisto followed by a back senton. Joe with forearms to Cara followed by knees. Joe with an Irish whip and he runs into an elbow. Cara with a tornado DDT and he gets a near fall.
Cara with a springboard moonsault onto Balor. Joe puts Cara on the turnbuckles and he chops him. Cara counters the muscle buster with a sunset flip. Joe with punches but Kalisto with the blind tag. Cara with a suicide dive onto Balor. Kalisto with a rana to Joe for a near fall. Joe with the STJoe and he knocks Cara off the apron with an enzuigiri.
Joe with a muscle buster and Balor tags in and hits the Coup De Grace for the three count.
Winners: Samoa Joe and Finn Balor (Advance to face Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady in the second round.
