Match Number One: Konnor and Viktor versus Rhyno and Baron Corbin in a Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Match
Viktor and Rhyno start things off and they lock up. Rhyno with a wrist lock and side head lock. Rhyno with a shoulder tackle but Viktor with Canadian lifters. Viktor with a rolling shoulder tackle and he tags in Konnor. Corbin tags in as well. They lock up and Corbin with a forearm but Konnor with a shoulder tackle. Viktor tags in and they hit a double shoulder tackle and Viktor gets a near fall.
Konnor tags back in and they send Corbin into the turnbuckles. Konnor with kicks in the corner. Konnor goes for a boot in the corner but Corbin goes to the floor but Viktor sends him back in and Konnor with another kick and he gets a near fall. Viktor tags in and he kicks and chops Corbin. Viktor with a jumping knee to Corbin but Corbin sends Viktor to the apron. Viktor with a shoulder to Corbin but Rhyno attacks Viktor and Corbin sends Viktor into the ring post.
Konnor checks on Viktor before he returns to the ring. Rhyno tags in and he kicks Viktor. Viktor with kicks and punches in the corner. Rhyno with an Irish whip and shoulder in the corner. Rhyno with kicks and a side head lock. Corbin tags in and he punches Viktor and connects with a forearm to the back. Corbin with a kick and punch to Viktor. Corbin runs into a boot but Corbin with a spinning Bossman Slam for a near fall>
Corbin kicks Viktor in the ribs and he punches Viktor in the head. Corbin misses a punch and Viktor with an STO and both men are down. Viktor tags in Konnor and Rhyno is in too. Konnor with clotheslines and punches followed by an uppercut. Konnor punches Corbin and then Konnor with splashes into the corner on both men. Rhyno tries for a spear but Konnor moves. Konnor with a flapjack.
They set for the Fall of Man but Corbin distracts Viktor and Rhyno with a GORE for the three count.
Winners: Baron Corbin and Rhyno (Advance to second round)
Devin Taylor is in the back with Adrian Neville and Solomon Crowe. She asks Neville about competing in the tournament. Neville says that Dusty is important in his life because he is where he is due to Dusty. He is looking forward to being in the tournament and to win it and represent the American Dream.
Solomon says it is great to be in the Dusty Rhodes Classic but it makes him feel pretty good teaming with the Man that Gravity Forgot. He says he is calling his shot and they are going to win.
Crowe leaves and Neville says that Crowe is a little weird.
We go to commercial.
Match Number Two: Alexa Bliss versus Blue Pants
Alexa with forearms and she sends Blue Pants to the mat. Alexa gets a near fall. Alexa sends Blue Pants into the turnbuckles and connects with a forearm. Alexa with a key lock. Alexa pulls Blue Pants to the mat and stomps on her abdomen and gets a near fall. Alexa puts her foot on Blue Pants’ face. Alexa with a forearm to the back followed by an Irish whip. Blue Pants with an elbow but Alexa runs Blue Pants into the turnbuckles and connects with shoulders.
Alexa with a forearm to the back and then she snap mares Blue Pants and kicks her in the back and returns to the key lock. Alexa with a crucifix for a near fall. Blue Pants with punches to the midsection followed by round kicks. Blue Pants with a Northern Lights suplex for a near fall. Blue Pants misses a charge into the corner and Alexa moves. Alexa with a handspring into knees and then she hits the Sparkle Splash for the three count.
Winner: Alexa Bliss
William Regal is in the office with Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa, but Tyler Breeze interrupts. He wants to talk to William Regal about what happened after Brooklyn. He says that not only does he want to win, he needs to. He says that he asked Regal for an opponent and he came through. Tyler wants a tag team partner who is important.
William says that he brought them into the Classic because they are the hottest wrestlers on the independent scene. Tyler will face them with a man who is one of the hottest competitors on NXT. William tells him he will team with Bull Dempsey.
Tyler says that they will still win next week. He tells Johnny and Tommaso to smile for the cameras.
Johnny and Tommaso thank William for the opportunity.

We are back and it is time to take a look back at what happened last week on NXT with the Women’s Fatal Four Way Match.
Emma says that the Divas Revolution started with her and Paige and there is no Divas Revolution without her.
Match Number Three: Apollo Crews versus Martin Stone
They lock up and Stone with a wrist lock and Crews reverses and sends Crews to the mat. Crews with a take down. Crews with a leap frog and a drop kick and then he poses. Crews with an arm drag into an arm bar. Stone gets back to his feet but Crews with an Irish whip and he misses a splash. Stone with a clothesline and he kicks Crews in the corner.
Stone mocks Crews by doing his pose. Stone with a quarter nelson and chin lock. Crews with punches but Stone with a punch. Crews with an enzuigiri followed by running double sledges and a Stinger Splash and flying clothesline. Crews kips up and then he presses Stone over his head and then drops Stone and hits a standing moonsault for the three count.
Winner: Apollo Crews
Devin Taylor is with Jason Jordan and Chad Gable. She asks them about their matches. Jordan says that now that Neville is Crowe’s partner they are underdogs. They will beat Crowe and Neville. Chad says that history is written by the victors. Neville is going to fly too close to the sun and you will fall and fail in a spectacular manner. They will forget that Crowe even existed. Your American Dreams are going to become a nightmare when you face the boys who are ready . . . willing . . . and . . . Gable. Chad likes that Jason said his name but Jason says he will deny it.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Devin Taylor is with Finn Balor and she brings up his title defenses in Texas. Finn says that NXT is at the forefront in the NXT Renaissance. He looks forward to be planting his flag in Texas.
Devin mentions that Finn Balor will be teaming with Samoa Joe. Joe says that he knows that the NXT title is important to him. He says that the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic is also important. He wants to win it all. He wants to know if Finn is ready. Finn says he is ready.
Match Number Four: Eva Marie versus Billie Kay
They lock up and Billie with a waist lock. Eva with an elbow and side head lock. Billie with an Irish whip but Eva floats over and she blows a kiss at Billie. Billie with a boot to the head and she gets a near fall. Billie with a cravate. Eva with shoulders in the corner and the referee warns her. Eva with a suplex for a near fall. Eva with a seated abdominal stretch. Billie with an inside cradle for a near fall. Eva with a running back elbow into the corner followed by a running forearm. Eva blows another kiss and she hits a back senton for a near fall. Eva with another near fall and she returns to the seated abdominal stretch.
Billie with a hip toss followed by clotheslines. Billie with a suplex for a near fall. Eva with an elbow to Billie followed by another one. Eva with Sliced Bread #2 for the three count.
Winner: Eva Marie
After the match, we get comments from Enzo Amore, Colin Cassady, Zack Ryder, and Mojo Rawley after their match in Brooklyn. Enzo says he was not surprised by the result. Mojo wants to know what they are doing. Enzo and Cass say they are going to Manhattan while Zack is going to go to Long Island. Mojo is disappointed at them not wanting to hang out together.
Match Number Five: Chad Gable and Jason Jordan versus Neville and Solomon Crowe in a Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Match
Crowe and Gable start things off and they lock up. Crowe with a wrist lock and Gable with a reversal and escape into a side head lock. Crowe with a side head lock. Crowe with a shoulder tackle but Gable with an ankle pick and take down as he rolls through for a near fall. Crowe with a side head lock. Crowe with a side head lock take down.
Crowe stops a leap frog and turns it into a flapjack. Crowe with a front face lock and Neville tags in. Neville with a wrist lock but Gable with a waist lock and he backs Neville into the corner and he tags in Jordan who gets a near fall with a rollup. Jordan with a waist lock take down for a near fall.
Neville with a sunset flip for a near fall. Neville with a side head lock and Jordan tries to pick Neville off the mat. Jordan with an Irish whip and Neville flips across the ring. Jordan goes for a German suplex but Neville lands on his feet. Neville with a drop kick and then Crowe sends Gable to the floor as we go to commercial.
We are back and Crowe tags back in and he applies a waist lock. Jordan with a standing switch. Jordan with a waist lock take down and he tags in Gable. Gable with a waist lock. Crowe with an elbow to Gable and Jordan makes the blind tag and Gable hands Crowe to Jordan for an overhead belly-to-belly suplex. Jordan runs Crowe into the corner and connects with shoulders.
Gable tags in and connects with shoulders. Jordan tags back in and he connects with more shoulders. Gable tags in and he puts his towel over Crowe’s face to entice the bull to connect with another shoulder. Crowe falls to the floor and the referee starts his count. Jordan fans Gable off with his towel. Crowe gets back into the ring and Gable with a knee to the midsection for a near fall. Gable with a double underhook and he tags Jordan back in. Gable with a forearm and Jordan with a near fall. Jordan with a rear chin lock with his knee in Crowe’s back. Crowe gets to the ropes and Jordan releases the hold. Gable tags back in.
Gable kicks Crowe and he goes for a bow and arrow. Crowe escapes and gets a near fall with a lateral press. Gable keeps Crowe from making the tag but Crowe is able to make the tag. Jordan tags in and Neville leaps over Jordan. Neville with his kick sequence followed by a running kick to the temple and a series of forearms. Neville with an elbow to Jordan and a kick to knock Gable off the apron. Neville with an enzuigiri but Neville goes up top. Jordan is pulled to the floor. Neville with a moonsault onto Jordan while Crowe hits a suicide dive onto Gable.
Neville goes to the apron and he tries for a springboard move but Jordan catches him and then he sends Neville face first to the mat. Neville with a super kick that staggers Jordan. Crowe tags in and hits a running knee but Jordan with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex. Jordan kicks Neville to the floor and Jordan with a running shoulder to the midsection. Gable tags in and Jordan sends Crowe into the air for Gable to hit a back drop driver and the three count.
Winners: Jason Jordan and Chad Gable (Advance to Second Round)
