INTERNAL REACTION TO SHOOTING INCIDENT AT WWE PERFORMANCE CENTER AND MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2015-09-01 08:59:02

Internally, WWE sent out word that absolutely no one should comment about the incident yesterday at the WWE Performance Center publicly via social media or if they are asked. WWE wants any information to come from the local authorities.

The shooting incident that left 29 year old Armando Alejandro Montalvo requiring surgery was the third incident with Montalvo recently, including one two weeks ago where he was swinging a chain. WFTV in Orlando featured comments from friends of Montalvo noting that while he's had some problems mentally, they did not expect something like this to happen.

While there is video on social media of Montalvo speaking about former WWE Diva AJ Lee, the subject of his interest appears to be WWE Hall of Famer Lita, who had been working of late out of the Performance Center while training "Tough Enough" competitors. When Montalvo was arrested on 8/4, according to News 6 in Orlando, he was in possession of a huge sign for Lita.

WWE took out an injunction against Montalvo but when they attempted to have it served at his home on 8/18, his mother refused to take it.
