Do you expect a briefcase cash in at SummerSlam? I think the winner takes both titles stipulation provides some foreshadowing as the US title actually has some prestige behind it at the moment and absorbing/unifying it with the heavyweight title wouldn't make much sense.

I don’t see the point in combining the Titles, or putting them on one man, either. With that said, I don’t see WWE putting a Title on Sheamus at SummerSlam either. He just hasn’t been pushed hard enough. It would come out of nowhere and wouldn’t get over.

Regardless of how it got to this point, would you not agree that one of the sad aspects of the Hogan situation is his being unable to eulogize Roddy Piper on WWE programing  given the shared history of the two men?

I would indeed. WWE did what they have to do in ignoring Hogan. He brought that on himself and the company still doesn’t know what other information may be leaked in the future, so they have to protect himself. But yes, it’s a damn shame that Hogan couldn’t have been on Raw last week to pay his respects publicly to Piper.

When Owen Hart broke Steve Austin's neck and Steve obviously couldn't continue, it ended in a roll-up Austin admits looked like shit. Who's call was that? Owen looked confused and Austin was obviously out of it. Was it Vince in the refs ear? Why didn't they just have Owen pin Austin at that point?

That was the finish so when Austin got hurt, they went with it. Owen did all he could to make it work. They were starting Austin’s big push and they wanted him to go over. At that point in time, the rule was to get the finish and go with it. That is what they did.

Why do other sites keep reporting what Vince Russo thinks about the business, as if it's news, when it isn't?  How can't they see he is not relevant anymore? When he was in the business, fine. But now he is just another guy with an opinion, yet I see other sites reporting what he says as news, instead of opinion.

Beats me. Russo’s opinions are just that. They surely aren’t news.

When all is said and done, where would place Jeff Jarrett as a player in the wrestling industry?  I feel like he's a genius. He legally held up the WWE for money he was owed?  Found a way to be world champion in WCW and co-founded not one, but two promotions that have made some waves. If GCW folds, would the WWE be stupid not to offer him a position?

I too think Jeff has done a great job of maximizing his position in the business. He was never afraid to take chances or make bold moves. With that said, WWE doesn’t need him. They have a well oiled machine and a lot of very good people in place. They don’t need Jarrett. He knows that too, which is why he has made the moves he has post WCW.
