WHO SHOULD INDUCT PAUL HEYMAN INTO THE WWE HALL OF FAME, WHAT WOULD TODAY BE LIKE IF WWE REALLY GOT BEHIND CM PUNK, DEAN AMBROSE AS CHAMPION AND MORE

So with the passing of Rowdy Roddy Piper, you know WWE will put on a live tribute for him, 10 bell Salute, play his theme song while all the wrestlers stand on the stage... it's always a class thing to see.  My question is, do you see John Cena, despite his broken nose resulting in being pulled from Raw, showing up on Raw JUST to be part of that?

I haven’t heard one way or the other. However, flying can play hell on an injury like Cena has. I hope they leave him home. They could have him do a video or something on social media, even a call in.

When, not if, when Paul Heyman goes into the hall of fame, who should induct him?  Somebody from ECW like RVD or Dreamer?  How about Brock Lesnar?  Or even CM Punk should he and WWE EVER patch things up.  Yeah he revolutionized wrestling in the 90s with ECW, but that's not just who he is anymore.

Who should induct him is easy, Tod Gordon. Their partnership was epic and legendary. Beyond that, Brock Lesnar is probably guy that makes the most sense based on his status in WWE’s world.

With hindsight booking being 20/20 do you think Dean Ambrose should have actually legitimately been the champ between Elimination Chamber and Money in the Bank?  It would have only been for two weeks, it wouldn't have really messed up Rollins's run with the belt and plus Dean could have called himself a former WWE champion and Seth could be a two time WWE champion.  It would have been like Mick Foley's two title wins over The Rock in 99.

I get where you are going but I am not usually a big fan of short, fluky Title runs like that. I think Dean could and should get a legitimate chance to run with the belt.

Looking back, you think CM Punk vs Chris Jericho should have Main Evented Wrestlemania 28?  Rock vs Cena was the draw but that could have been anywhere on the card and still have been big, and Punk was the champ at the time, the Main Event could have given him an even bigger launchpad.  Plus it would have been apt for Jericho to Main Event a Wrestlemania match for the title over Rock vs Cena ten years after he did the same thing to Rock vs Hogan.

I think that in almost every case, the WWE Title match should be the main event of the show. There are rare exceptions, like if Steve Austin came back for a match after being away for a decade, for instance. But overall, the Title match should be the main event.

Also, looking back, in 2011 CM Punk got white hot as a face, the fans were cheering for him unlike the 50/50 split Cena gets, he was outselling Cena in merch.  If WWE decided to really take a chance on him, make him the new posterboy, have him main event all the PPVs, protect him healthwise, market him like they market Cena... do you think they'd be more successful now?  I know it takes more than just one guy on top to change business for better or worse, but would giving Punk the keys to the car yield more success than Cena?

I do, yes (provided Punk stayed on with the company). Thinking back to when they were hot in the late 90s, one of the reasons was that there were six guys at any time that could legitimately win the WWE Title. Contrast that to today. “Anything can happen” was the rule then. They would be well served to get back to that.
