Deadline is reporting that Diamond Dallas Page will be a star in the upcoming film "God and Secrets" from Adi Shankar. "God and Secrets" will explore the darker side of superhero conventions. Created by Shankar, Jenni Powell (“The Lizzie Bennett Diaries”) and Shawn Deloache (“New Adventures of Peter and Wendy”), the drama will follow the secret lives and celebrity of the Guardians of Justice, particularly after a tragedy strikes the group and sparks a war.
Along with Diamond Dallas Page, Jackson Rathbone, Kellan Lutz, Sharni Vinson, Andy Milonakis have signed on to star in the project.
Shankar, who will codirect the project with Stewart Yost, produced superhero fan films "The Punisher: Dirty Laundry,” “Venom: Truth in Journalism”, “Judge Dredd: Superfiend" and "Power/Rangers", which made headlines earlier this year.
Rathbone and Discourse Media are producing. It is unclear at this time whether “Gods and Secrets” is a film or television series.
